Ed Asner to Fox Producer After Confronted About Union Cartoon: ‘Can I Piss on You?’

Considering the controversy, maybe this follow up story shouldn’t come as a surprise.

On Tuesday, TheBlaze was one of the first to report on the story of the California teachers’ union cartoon featuring the narration of Ed Asner and, at one point, a “rich” person peeing on the common man. Since then, the story has gone viral. And on Wednesday night, Fox News caught up with Asner to ask him about the controversial video. How did he respond? By asking the producer if he (Asner) could “piss” on the producer.

Here’s the video from “Hannity,” which also includes the reaction of Michelle Malkin:

HANNITY: Ah, urinating on people. So do you recognize the voice narrating that cartoon? Well, that is none other than that radical left-wing Hollywood actor Ed Asner. And one of our producers confronted him outside the New York City theater where he is currently performing and asked him about his role in this disgusting hit piece.

UNIDENTIFIED FOX NEWS PRODUCER: Do you remember the video? Do you know what I’m talking about?

ASNER: I don’t remember a thing I said on it or a word I said on it, but I agreed to do it for California teachers. I approve this message.

UNIDENTIFIED FOX NEWS PRODUCER: Okay. I think the most controversial part the people are talking about it, there’s a part of it where talking about things trickling down and they have like rich people peeing on poor people.

ASNER: How disgusting. It should be reversed.

UNIDENTIFIED FOX NEWS PRODUCER: So you don’t remember that?

ASNER: Do you have any money?

UNIDENTIFIED FOX NEWS PRODUCER: Yeah.

ASNER: Can I piss on you?

  I see that AvenerK is making up statistics again. Actually, despite the second worst economy in America’s history (thanks to Bush) Obama’s job numbers are still better than Bush’s, which were among the worst in American history.

It’s a misleading point to start from. In fact Obama’s still has a deficit of jobs lost since 2008/2009. He hasn’t added any new jobs since taking office, he’s still making up that deficit.   On jobs, you’re right about one thing. If you didn’t count President Obama’s first months in office, before his policies took effect, his job numbers would look even better. But those numbers aren’t removed from the data as you claim. You can read I’m sure. Maybe you should try actually absorbing the facts.

But the recession was declared over in June 2009…why is Obama still at a deficit of jobs little fella? Like I said…we’ve recovered the jobs lost from every recession…except under Obama. You can’t prove me wrong on that.
  
  The GDP under Obama has only increased roughly 1.6% in his first term. To compare…Reagan grew the GDP roughly 11% in his first term.
  
  In the roughly four years of Obama’s presidency the employment age population has increased by slightly over 8 million people while people employed has increased by only 0.2 million (that’s just 200 thousand JZS..I mean SENDTHEMETEORS). In the past, the employed to population ratio has been around 62%. Factoring population growth since Obama became President against the employment increase, the ratio is a paltry 2%. This is a disaster in no uncertain terms. I’m using the Bureau of Labor Statistics figures by the way.
  
  A net 1.4 million jobs have been lost under Barack Obama.
  
  No please…tell me again how Obama has added 4.5 million jobs to the economy while he hasn’t even made up the deficit of jobs he’s contributed to losing…LOL.

  Under W, you say the economy improved more quickly than under President Obama. My sources suggest that the economy actually got worse under W, particularly around 2007. Please can you provide links to show how quickly W’s policies improved the economy compared to President Obama’s?

  At this point you will be able to understand the mathematics underlying the Laffer Curve.
  
  You can also get the same results be empirically studying the data like the WSJ did. If the theory and the empirical data do not match then one or the other is wrong.

This should be pointed out by the teacher’s union or someone famous like Beck When Beck submerged a Barry bobble head in a jar of beer (not pee) he was trying to make a important point. Libs are trying to inappropriately demonize weath. Lib’s tried to cloud Becks point of free speech. The Libs use free speech as a weapon. Some free speech is designed to be provocative and insult. This is fine from the standpoint of free speech,.but when those who are targeted strike back, don’t be surprised. If someone tries to park a truck in Ed’s stinking a$$ it shouldn’t come as a surprise. It might not be considered legal but that won’t stop them. A part of free speech is free expression. Trying to park in Ed’s rear might be considered free expression with conseqences. An interesting question is, does Ed’s rear qualify as a parking structure. I actually used to like Mr. Asner – long before I knew anything at all about his Leftist adherence on all things political. I wish we could turn back the clock 40 years (was it that long ago? Yes, it was) to see “Mr. Grant” on the Mary Tyler Moore show, before all this crap came out, before he talking about urinating on news producers, before he made cartoons that, by extension, shows how much he hates “rich people” and their horrible, selfish hearts and lives. Well, since Mr. Asner feels this way, perhaps he won’t mind writing ME a BIG check to make up for the 4 years of struggling, losing all we have, barely – and I do MEAN barely – surviving. And after he does that, he can take Barack Hussein Obama and shove him up his a$$ – with my compliments.

All last week Mr. Hannity was bemoaning the fact that the country has turned selfish and the “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” ethos has disappeared.

It seems his point is that since the wealthy are selfish, and it’s impossible to change human behavior, we can’t expect to collect more revenue from those people who can afford to pay a little more and must turn the screws on those with nothing more to give.

We have always taken care of the less fortunate, but today, we have far too many living off of others labor when they are very capable of working. That is what our country has been up until the last four year – hard working people who provide for themselves and their families. Its way, way out of balance. Socialism has failed around the world and our ignorant government wants to try it in America, absolutely absurd. It enslaves people and brings the whole country down. Look at Europe.   Here’s how you raise “revenue” in a healthy economy little guy…..More people working means more tax payers. Less people working means lower revenues for the government. It’s made worse when entitlement programns are ballooned like Obamacare has done to Medicaid because more revenue is need to fund the larger programn. And as predictable as it could have ever been….employers are laying off or reducing the hours of their workers so as to avoid paying for their benefits mandated by the “30 hour work week” stipulation of Obamacare. And what does this mean Mr HAIRYBETH? It means even less tax payers.
  Please…stop insulting my and everyone else’s intelligence here with your “the rich guy..fair share” idiocy. Obama’s about to hose the middle class into a coma and you’re eating popcorn and applauding on the sidelines like a good useful idiot.

I have a great suggeation for Mr. Asner, DONATE your entire fortune, garnered from the American public who watched your shows, to the United States government. Your millions might be able to run the greatest waste and fraud machine ever created for about 30 minutes. You could brag to the world how YOU saved the government from collapse.

The video the teachers union hacks cane up with is beyond stupid and that you would lent yourself to such an inane prodiction is ludicrous at best. Yhis video ranks on an even par with the video “Innocence of Islam or Moslems or Mohammed” or whatever the name of the “Crude and disgusting” (Barry) video was.
