Here’s the Point-by-Point Debunk of the ‘Facts’ in that Offensive Calif. Teachers’ Union Ad
On Tuesday, TheBlaze showed you the Ed Asner-narrated cartoon created by the California Federation of Teachers.

Image: California Federation of Teachers video
Mr. Asner is also being confronted about his participation in the cartoon. Although the aging actor claims he did not recall what he said in the video, he does ask the reporter who questions him, “Can I piss on you?”
On Wednesday, writer Lee Doren posted a video on his YouTube channel How The World Works. The video takes the cartoon from the Teachers union and breaks it down, debunking it, one point at a time. And Doren accomplishes this simply by using facts.
Right out of the blocks, Doren’s video analysis of the cartoon debunks the union’s claims about crime, unemployment, and how much the so-called rich people pay in taxes:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on December 7, 2012 at 1:50amI think teachers should be required to take continuing education . Veterinarians do. They have to acquire so many hours every 2 years. They have to pay for them and can not continue to practice if they do not attend. Teachers should require testing and evaluations to determine whether they are competent to teach our children. I also believe that parents should be advised of the information being taught in our schools and have an input regarding it. The unions continue to allow our children to be indoctrinated. Parents should have the right to protect their children .

Posted on December 7, 2012 at 4:46amPamela, in what state are teachers NOT required to obtain continuing education credits!? For most teachers, it’s also GRADUATE credits which have averaged me about $500 a credit. Teachers are also required (I assumed in all states, but perhaps I’m wrong) to take what are called the PRAXIS tests, which test their knowledge in the subject manner they want to teach.

and he is wrong on a few of his points.
#1 it was the unions working with the NWO crew who do buy the media and create propaganda – in fact that part is actually being done in the video itself lol
#2 the rules of the NWO/LUCIFARIANS [yes even they have rules] is to TELL THE PUBLIC what they are doing or about to do, but they always make it so it’s denounced, thought of as foolish or make fun of to the point no one takes the info seriously – LIKE THE UFO SUBJECT IS TODAY!!!
#3 Lucifarian/NWO members have taken their money to the offshore accounts, sure Cayman’s are closes and has a beach near by but Switzerland banks have more PERKS
#4 propaganda like this is happening by the direct cash flow from the teachers, the unions of all kinds and the obama administration led by the NWO and all the black op money that illegal goods, services and slavery can by them.

Posted on December 6, 2012 at 4:53pmAnd once again for the precious few here who can understand rather simple economics, The wealthy do not create jobs. DEMAND creates jobs. And the demand economic engine in the US has always been the middle class by virtue of shear numbers. The wealthy along with mutual funds, union pension funds, and the like INVEST in companies which use the money to hire people to meet demand. When real wages begin to fall as they have since the 1980′s due to one way treaties that have put the middle class in the US on a race to the bottom, demand goes down. And along with the concentration of wealth which also reduces demand, the continued reduction in wages will continue to reduce demand and cause further decline in the economy.

Posted on December 6, 2012 at 7:02pmNecessity or desire creates demand.
DEMAND creates sales.
Sales create jobs.
Jobs create income for people.
People then go spend the money earned at jobs and it circulates.
Money circulates, and some people manage to earn more, usually by skills or product others are willing to pay for. Some people manage to hire and employ others, and in doing so harness the efforts of several people, becoming far more productive than by themselves, PAYING those employees in exchange for their efforts a mutually agreed to compensation.
Generally, these people become wealthy.
Then people see that wealth and become jealous, but fail to attain it themselves.
They then struggle financially, see the successful person and become envious, because they have degrees and education, and have this and that etc, but this dumb@ss college dropout did something different and now he’s a Ka-zillionaire, and it JUST ISN’T FAIR……WAAAAH
Envy leads to desire to deprive others of the wealth, and since stealing can land you in jail or get you killed, said envy filled person votes for those who promise to “legally” steal, via taxation, and justify it by creating programs that “help everyone” or whatever line of sh1t they come up with.
Then said struggling person isn’t really helped, but feels better because wealthy person has less.
Then you have the AIG and Goldman Sachs of the world, but that isn’t most wealthy people. And said abusers of capitalism manage to avoid taxes. ASK GE.

You don’t think there won’t be bias if that happens? The corporation have no loyalty to anything beyond the corporation and why will they offer education to the public? There will have to be a profit motive, where does that profit come from? When you own the information, you can spin it any way you want. When schools belong to the government, they are much more answerable to the people, the taxpayers.

Posted on December 6, 2012 at 4:08pmIt’s actually not true. Public funded teachers get near equal or larger salaries than private teachers.
If you add that they pay less for pensions than private teachers pay in, the money shift becomes huge. If you also add in that private sector teachers must perform to higher standards and are usually more accountable for their teaching skills and actions, the value of that added on makes a public teaching position dramatically more desireable than all but the most lofty of private teaching positions.
Just keep in mind that this is a “union” and the idea of actually teaching youngsters was killed when it became more important to participate than to challenge and educate. There’s no good end here folks, just move along. Put your kids in private school or home school.

Mr. Doren refutes nothing.
A simple case in point: The overwhelming majority of the money invested in the stock market is ownership transfer. Except for IPO’s, the stock market doesn’t capitalize industry. Money spent on stock doesn’t go to companies.

Posted on December 6, 2012 at 10:49pmYou must have watched a different video Mary, because he DID refute a good amount of idiocy in this piece of garbage propaganda. Most important of all, the video blames the economic collapse on tax cuts, that somehow the rich having too much money caused the recession of 07. Anyone with a brain and a memory longer than that of a goldfish should remember it was the collapse of the mortgage market due to bad loans they had made primarily to low income people and severe overpricing of the supply of homes which was pointed out during his critique.
For the record, what is Mr. Asner repeating that conservative figures state all the time? Last time I checked Glenn Beck wasn’t talking about the evils of tax cuts or how the “evil 1%” drained all the money from public services to line their pockets. If anything, conservatives argue the very opposite, that the public service unions are actually draining money to line their own pockets.
Thou doth protest foolishly, and I submit before the jury of the public opinion of this internet forum that YOU Marybethelizabeth are in fact out of line with your criticisms of this critique of a shoddy piece of teachers union propaganda. And that the readers must find you guilty of such!

The rebuttal is right on the money. One of the greatest expenses of Federal, State, County and City governments is RETIREMENT PLANS!! That sucks more money fron those entities budgets than most anything else.
When the video showed businesses moving overseas, it didn’t explain that UNION WAGE/RETIREMENT DEMANDS, coupled with OVER BURDENING FEDERAL STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS caused most businesses to move to other areas where they could make a profit. Not only that but the corporations faced such heavy taxes just to bring their earnings back into the USA, they have just left their profits overseas. Can you imagine how much good the many billions of dollars stored overseas by corporations would do for us if they could bring the money back home?
Of course the teachers who created this travesty were the farthest out of the leftists in that organization. They are a disgrace to the teaching profession. They no longer teach but only brainwash their students. A state with some of the lowest test scores and record pay and benefits for teachers, all the while instead of improving themselves, waste their time making this stupid video.
This “Classic” ranks right up there with the “Innocence of Muslims” in production and content. i wonder if it was made by the same clowns?

A civil war is just around the corner and its only going to take a tiny spark to get it going. Americans are very tired of each other. The Progressives are disgusted by the “ignorant” and “greedy” Conservatives. And the Conservatives are equally disgusted by the “selfish” and “ignorant” Progressives. Both sided don’t like the other for very similar reasons. And as we currently see in DC, neither side is in the mood to compromise. I’m for the Conservatives digging in and letting things go over the cliff. It’s time to fix the problem and stop kicking the can down the road. It’s past time to RESTORE our country to our MAGNIFICENT constitution.
The Progressives are generally not getting ready. I hope all you Conservatives are getting ready. It’s not just about guns and ammo. It’s about total self-sufficiency. Posted on December 6, 2012 at 3:28pmActors do not understand making money via risk and reward through capitalism. Those who get rich through investment take substantial risk that5 they will lose their investment. Their investment is also critical for the economy to grow, innovation to flourish, and jobs to be created. That is why investment income is taxed at a lower rate – we want it and need it.
Actors have a similar financial risk as most middle/working class folks in the US. They sign a contract and show up for work every day like the rest of us. If they lose their job, they go looking for another, but they don’t lose what they already have, just like the middle class. They only difference is they get rich doing it while the middle/working class make money to live and hopefully a little bit more.
So Asnerites probably think the rich get rich by just showing up to work, but that only applies to actors, athletes and CEO’s. Capitalists get rich by risking the livelihood and existing treasure on innovations and inventions. If they lose, they lose a lot more than just a job.

Unions (public and private sector) have a habit of choking business or entity in fear of losing too much power over the business or govn’t entity. The bureaucracy that is unions these days go far beyond just protecting the union members. I personally love the idea of a union and have no problem supporting a group as long as they don’t have A) political ambitions or B) a cancerous leech on the business or entity its giving protection against.

I was forced to join or not work so to support my family I did. I found out reel fast what the union was for, It wasn’t the workers it for money and power.
