Sting Operation Catches TSA Screener Stealing iPads at New York Airport

JFK Airport TSA Screener Gets Busted in Sting Operation for Stealing Electronics

A TSA screener working at John F. Kennedy Airport has been arrested for stealing iPads and other electronics from passengers, as found through a recent sting operation.

Believe it or not, this is also not the first time a TSA officer has gotten busted in a sting operation — and for iPad theft no less.

NBC New York reported that Sean Henry from Brooklyn was caught when he took items from decoy bags in the operation organized by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in cooperation with the TSA.

Steven Coleman with the port authority said Henry, who worked for TSA for 10 years, was caught leaving work with two iPads, among other devices, in his backpack. Other suspected stolen items were found in his home as well.

Henry has been charged with grand larceny and official misconduct, according to NBC.

TSA spokesman Nico Melendez told TheBlaze in an email that it is working with the port authority following Henry’s arrest.

“TSA holds its employees to the highest ethical standards and  has zero tolerance for misconduct in the workplace,” Melendez said.

I solved this problem 10 years ago.

    I don’t fly anymore. Can’t say I’ve missed it.

    And I’m not alone.

Dern straight! I won’t fly anymore unless I have to fly for work (which only happens once every 2 or 3 years.) I’ve quit using the airlines altogether.

No wonder they try to hid what they’re doing with your purse & carry on. The more I try to lean over and see what they’re doing the more they turn their back to me. I immediately check out my purse to see if anything is missing. Too many of these people who are given leeway are thieves.

You just have to remember that the TSA hires are Obama’s minions who will likely be his private army should choose to activate it. They don’t come to be employees of the TSA because they have a moral compass. Would love to see what vetting is involved, would bet a large number of them have arrest records.

When we have president that flouts the law, selectively enforces or ignores it and does so with impunity, what standard does he set for the rest of America? Why should anyone do any different and simply pick and choose the laws we choose to or choose not to obey?

Truth is relative and this is only the tip of the iceberg on which America is being impaled.

The union pos was charged with grand larceny. He’ll do at least 3 weeks. If convicted on all counts and sentenced to 3 years he’ll be out in 6 months or less. Since he’s TSA and all he should do 10 years to attempt to get the flying public to have confidence. They don’t really care if the flying public has confidence in them or not though. They do as they please.

Just can’t understand why these people get hired to go through our personal things who are thieves.
But yet, I keep hearing about all the guns & knives that keep slipping through by those checking out the TSA’s ability to stop it. Sticky fingered people have no right going through my stuff. We used to travel quite often, but I have no interest in losing my stuff anymore, so I say: if I can’t drive, I don’t go.

Chief Justice Roberts passed that message to ‘us’ loud and clear when he said ‘penalty’ means ‘tax.’ — It’s ‘legal,’ though HIGHLY unlawful — folks need to GET that there ARE in FACT 2 separate and DISTINCT ‘constitutions’ in play — read and LEARN the law — it ain’t TOUGH, but only the ‘MAN’ can STAND sui juris pro se in lawful non-compliance of the corporate ‘person,’ a legal FICTION being FORCED upon him. The change you want, starts with knowing who ‘you’ are, and behaving as human beings determined to be FREE — this does NOT entail nor condone violence its CORRECT application. “The Rights of the Sovereign are LONG ANTECEDENT to the creation of the State…”

Here’s another example of TSA kindness. Please note that nowhere does it state how much food or drink you can bring with you. A couple of years ago, I was flying with my family, Hubby and two small children, boys aged 8 and 3. They are very picky eaters and after the flight we had a two hour drive to finally get home. So I packed 4 lunchables, 1 for the plane and 1 for the drive for each kid and 8 gogurts, 2 for the plane and 2 for the ride, and 8 pouch drinks 2 for plane and 2 for the ride. Seemes reasonable to me, all we totally sealed and met all requirements. TSA said that was too much and left me with 2 lunchables, 2 gogurts and 2 pouches, they took the rest. Someone wanted luch for themselves or their kid or just wanted me miserable. I explained to them that I had a long drive once I got off the plane and they well I guess you’ll just have to stop somewhere. Well, the reason I brought so much healthy food is that the only place to stop between ATL and the North GA mountains where we live are fast food restraunts. So I had to spend more money and feed my kids garbage because TSA crooks got hungry and greedy. I can’t believe they are so completely crooked and they want us to let them see us naked? I haven’t flown since this incident and I refuse to risk putting my children in a situation where they might be “scannedâ€.

Attention all looters, crack babies, and e-cons the TSA is hiring. Perverts and sex offenders preferred. Must know at least 4 letters in the alphabet ( test will be given ). For those that cannot sign their own name must be able to make an intelligible X. Non Obama voters need not apply.

I bet this guy became a TSA agent just so he could easily steal people’s stuff. He’s just like those people who become cops so they can bully others or those who become teachers, coaches, or priests so they can have access to little kids.
