Unhinged Van Jones Rant: President’s ‘Treasonous’ Opponents Want to ‘Let the Bodies Pile Up on the Beach’

Van Jones spoke at the 16th annual Mario Savio Memorial Lecture on the campus of University of California Berkeley last Wednesday evening. In the passionate lecture, Van called Republicans and those who oppose the president “treasonous” and created an allegory where they wish to let people die on a beach.

Jones likened Obama to a lifeguard trying to save people after a disaster and the Republicans as people wishing to “cut the rope” the lifeguard is throwing. Jones went on to describe the Republican vantage point as this:

“Let the bodies pile up on the beach. Let the pain accumulate. Because our view is this: If enough dead bodies pile up on this beach they are going to fire the lifeguard and we can get the lifeguard’s job.”

Van Jones is President Barack Obama’s former Green Energy Czar.

  The progressive agenda made millions of people, most of them black city folk, helpless and dependent on the largesse of government policy.
  Conservative voices have been on the rooftops yelling that it is ‘unsustainable’.
  We have come to the apex of this policy…. the apogee of the curve. We now run an expected deficit, ad infinitum. It truly is unsustainable. Van Jones(no relation) is one of those that think because the will is there the means is there also. This is just not true. Sooner or later the account is overdrawn so greatly, that even a perfect credit rating would of no use. The only recourse is theft, or as the govt. puts it “fair share”.

  Obama had an obligation to wind the war down. After all the carnage created by the previous government, to just pack up and leave in a day would have furthered the irresponsibilty of america. PROJECTION, they always accuse and project upon their opponents what they themselves do…

Classic Marxist strategy so that they can neutralize criticism… and put the opponent on the defence against false accusations.
