Is the Gov’t Preparing for Zombie Apocalypse? Your Tax Dollars Helped Pay for Zombie-Killing Exercise

The Department of Homeland Security recently paid for a simulated zombie apocalypse as part of a counter-terrorism summit attended by law enforcement from across the United States.

No, DHS — headed by Janet Napolitano — is not secretly concerned that the undead will soon overrun the human population, the agency said it wanted to make a serious counter-terrorism training exercise more fun. ABC News made the revelation Friday as part of a report on the wasteful spending of DHS.

Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) told ABC News that DHS also spent $30,000 on an underwater robot for Columbus, Ohio, $240,000 for a armored personnel carrier to protect New Hampshire’s annual pumpkin festival and $69,000 for a hovercraft in Indianapolis.

During a time when America is struggling to get its financial house in any kind of order, it seems the agency is making little effort to tighten its belt during tough economic times. DHS certainly requires an adequate amount of funding to perform its vital duties, but $240,000 for a personnel carrier to guard pumpkins?

  My theory on this is as follows:
  
  The whole zombie thing has swept America like gang busters….its now in everyones heads by now, shows, movies and now the gov playing into it. Don’t forget the face eaters!
  
  Now, when this econ collapses for whatever reasons, your going to have alot of hungry disheveled people walking about in search of food and maybe even shelter depending on what collapses this country.
  
  These refugees will be in turn looked at by the rest of society through the lens of the culture of zombieism. Therefore killing them off will just be putting them out of the miserable existence. Got it!

  I agree 100%. It is not Zombies they are training for. It is the fall of civilaized society. If/when the country collapses into chaoz the population will look a lot like zombies. They are being trained to look at the mobs of people as zombies and NOT people. Makes it a little easier to pull the trigger. People can laugh it off and make fun of it if they want to but its YOU they are training to kill. They see it comming even if you have no idea. There is simply NO WAY our society can survive our Government and the things these politicans are doing. That also includes other countries and their politicians.

  No, the TSA is the desensitization. This is the most understated huge story out there. Who do you think will be the zombies when the dollar and the grid collapse? Obama zombies and all of those who have a bag of cheetos as their emergency preparation. Look at those who trusted the government or just didn’t think who were hit by Sandy. How many millions of them are there? Many. They will be staggering around in denial and disbelief and shock. They will look like zombies and they will attack as they die. Some will live by killing. Preppers had better keep their heads down.
  
  Of course the government will have their bunkers but there will be millions of “zombies” by all intents and purposes. The egg sucking government already knows this. Damn them to hell. It is ‘leaking’ out all over the place if you have eyes to see…
  
  Who could have predicted it a decade ago? The US is disintegrating before our eyes. Obama is the gun at our heads, cocked and ready to pull. Only the strong (prepared) will survive. We have turned our eyes away from God and the consequences are nigh. So much potential. Such a waste. Won’t make any difference in a thousand years though. Our strut upon the stage is almost up.

Why should anybody be surprised? The Government lost its’s sense of reality years ago. If it hadn’t we would be in the financial straights we are in now. The only Apocalypse we have to worry about is the one that an out of control big government will let lose on its’ own citizens.

Since when did local police not be able able to handle population control? I guess calling it “practice rounding up Muslims for the FEMA camps, and re-education camps” is just not a good story for the press, so they figure they will call this some comical “zombie” exercise?

That’s just hilarious, and a waste of money? We’ve got an answer for zombies, it’s called the 2nd amendment? No drills necessary, that’s a job for fathers to teach their sons and daughters, how to responsibly own, maintain, purchase, learn how to shoot, protect, defend, and protect the community, earning the respect that is never denied the honor of citizens being able to defend themselves?

Zombie = person or family without a gun or any food. When government cuts off its support to the poor = non human zombie’s. Do you know any better what to get rid of a group of people then to have other Americans do it for you? Just remember to listen to the media and don’t have a gun, and have 3 days worth of food.

In the recent DHS purchase order they bought enough 7.62 LR HP rounds to kill about ten thousand people if they can match the record of Marine corps snipers. Oh they they are having their agents trained by Marine corps snipers. Thank you George W. Bush and all of the progressive, conservative, republicans for making all of this possible. Arm yourself and get with like minded people in your area. Beck calls the militias ‘Bubbas’. We aren’t. Many of us have previous military combat experience. There’s a reason we’re considered a threat. We are……to them!

  WOW that clip was crazy. There is something to the amount of zombie movies , games and such, The government is planning something. Something like vaccinating people and making them like someone on bathsalts and using this as an excuse for martial law. I would not put it past them. Some how some way martial law will eventually be declared upon us, there is just too much proof of this.

This is in part why we are going over the fiscal cliff folks, because of inane spending on **** that isn’t necessary on your dime no less.
Second of all, I can tell you why they used this theme for a counter terrorism exercise. They don’t want to depict people of Muslim, middle eastern decent for fear of a Fatwa being called out on them from the Rag Heads in the middle east. They are cowards, and have no balls. What we need is real leadership that is not afraid to call evil what it is E-V-I-L–My God, Grow a Pair!

This is called dehumanizing an enemy. In a catastrophy, natural or otherwise, the main goal will be to protect the government against the population until they are all in a safe location. Now doesn’t that make you feel warm and fuzzy all over? The big question is, do they know something, or are they just preparing for the unknown?
