‘Kill Those F**king Yankees’: South Korean Rap Sensation Psy Has an Anti-American History…And He’s Set to Perform for Obama

South Korean rap sensation Psy — now best known for his “Gangnam Style” horse dancing moves — once smashed a model of a U.S. tank onstage and rapped, “Kill those f–king Yankees…slowly and painfully”
The first incident took place during a 2002 concert opposing the 37,000 U.S. troops stationed in Korea and after two Korean schoolgirls were killed in an accident with an American military vehicle, South Korean magazine Busan Haps reported. Psy took the stage with several other performers and, dressed in a glittering red outfit and gold face paint, lifted a large model of a U.S. tank above his head and threw it to the ground.
Two years later, Islamic extremists kidnapped and decapitated a South Korean missionary over South Korea’s plans to send troops to aid the U.S. in the Iraq war. The killing prompted massive protests in South Korea against Muslim extremism and the U.S. military for being indirectly responsible for the missionary’s death, according to Mediaite. Psy and several other artists gave a live performance of a Korean rock band’s song, “Dear American,” where Psy rapped:
Kill those f–king Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives
Kill thoseΒ f–king Yankees who ordered them to torture
Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers
Kill them all slowly and painfully
Eight years later, and now with the most popular YouTube video of all time, Psy is slated to perform before President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama during the annual “Christmas in Washington” concert in Washington, D.C.
An official White House petition to rescind his invitation has since been removed for violating the site’s “terms of participation.” It’s not clear what precisely the petition stated, except for a title which contained the words “rescind invite to Gangnam Style rapper PSY to perform for Pres. Obama at Christmas party over troop killing song lyrics.”

This is also why Obama wants Morsi to meet him in the White House, he needs company with people of the same ilk. Do you need proof Obama wants the support of the Muslim Brotherhood, here is someone that knows… http://www.thedailycandidate.com/video/2012/dec/obama_supports_muslimbro.html

Posted on December 7, 2012 at 9:43pmSince the blaze hasnt, I will post Psy’s apology:
As a proud South Korean who was educated in the United States and lived there for a very significant part of my life, I understand the sacrifices American servicemen and women have made to protect freedom and democracy in my country and around the world. The song in question β from eight years ago β was part of a deeply emotional reaction to the war in Iraq and the killing of two innocent Korean civilians that was part of the overall antiwar sentiment shared by others around the world at that time. While I’m grateful for the freedom to express one’s self I’ve learned there are limits to what language is appropriate and I’m deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be interpreted. I will forever be sorry for any pain I have caused anyone by those words. I have been honored to perform in front of American soldiers in recent months β including an appearance on the Jay Leno show specifically for them β and I hope they and all Americans can accept my apology. While it’s important we express our opinions, I deeply regret the inflammatory and inappropriate language I used to do so. In my music I try to give people a release, a reason to smile. I have learned that though music, our universal language we can all come together as a culture of humanity and I hope that you will accept my apology.

Joining the Air National Guard is not dodging the draft. For one flying fighter jets is inherently dangerous. for another consider that the federal government can activate a guard unit.
My take on it after reading the book “Flyboys”, is that George Bush Sr told him not to go. I also think Bush Sr. would have told him the opposite if Congress, Democrat controlled, would have Declared War instead of passing the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.
Come on big boy, it was a war & those weasel Democrats should have declared it as such. I know of people second hand from unimpeachable sources that said they knew someone in a in a dance troupe that entertained Mao’s troops headed for North Vietnam. That that is consistent with what military historians have wrote. That is there were 300,000 Chinese soldiers ion North Vietnam. They were there to provide rear area security so The North Vietnamese Aggressor Leaders felt safe in releasing their troops for battle in the south during Tet.
The Democrat Congressmen failed us like the Democrat party in general has failed us like how you have failed us.
P.S. You forgot to date the apology. It seems to come after his You-tube success. It seems it is designed to protect his business interest in the American market. Regardless his apology conflating the traffic accident & the Iraq war seems insincere. More likely he checked to see which way the wind was blowing & went with it.

Posted on December 7, 2012 at 6:12pmYou have communists, xenophobic nationalists & other ne’er-do-wells in every country. They get an inordinate amount of attention. More South Koreans were upset than there were anti-American a-holes protesting thru the years, when we drew down our strength there by about 3,000 so they could fight in Iraq. thew South Korans sent 3,000 strong Zaytun division to help rebuild Iraq.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaytun_Division
We don’t need to withdraw troops anywhere to protect the border. All we need to do is fire Janet Napoltitano who has said that the border fence cannot work & is not feasible. There is the real problem. To fire the worthless Janet, we would have to fire Obama. I said fire because he could try for a 3rd term. There was a rumor or a trial balloon of his wife running for Illinois federal senator or U.S. president. Or maybe he would run for a 3rd term if he could get an amendment repealed with a new one rescinding 2 terms restriction for president.
If we withdraw troops from Japan & South Korea, expect the border to be at Hawaii & none to secure at that.

Is it american to spy on citizens? is it american to bail out the biggest banks? is it american to give arms to syrian and libyan rebels? is it american for the government to take over healthcare? Is it american to “abandon the free market”? Is it american to borrow 16 trillion dollars?
We should re-consider what we call “anti-american”. Many of us are to anti-american that we want to secede from the tyranny.

You may not like it your self but it is still music and does take both skill and talent. It may take as much talent or skill as much other forms musical art but talent and skill just the same.
We will always lose if we think like these. Rap music is not the/a problem. It is the lyrics and the messaging within the songs that are the problem.
We need to embrace culturally healthy rap artist and music. The same going for movies, tv and the media.

Posted on December 7, 2012 at 5:56pmI think South Korea could hold its’ own against North Korea at this date. They sent troops to assist us during the Vietnam War. They were not effective. However, everything I have heard that nowadays, they are tough soldiers. Barring Chinese intervention, they should be able to hold & defeat the North Korean military.
South Korea was upset when we redeployed 3,000 soldiers from Korea to Iraq. So the pro-American Koreans outnumber the anti-American Koreans, who are doted on by the press & are always angry because they are like our liberals.
Maybe if we withdraw the remaining troops PSY can find out how manly he actually is or is not.
