During a discussion on HuffPost Live Friday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gave a strong condemnation of what he calls the “right wing media” and particularly Fox News.
“It’s divided our country in a way that we haven’t been divided probably since the Civil War,” Kennedy said of Fox News during the discussion focused on fracking. “Its empowered large corporations to get certain kinds of politicians and ideologues who are in the United State Congress elected — the Tea Party ideologues who control the Republican Party.”
The nephew of President John F. Kennedy and son of former senator and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made these claims against Fox while describing what he sees as the two biggest problems in American politics: the influence of big money and “the right-wing control of the American media.”
In addition to Fox News, Kennedy criticized right-wing talk radio that he describes as having a negative and large influence on whole sections of the country.
“Ninety-five percent of talk radio in our country is right-wing, and you need, according to Pew survey, and you–so a whole section of our country that that’s what they’re hearing. They wake up in the morning, when they go to bed at night,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy also claimed that Republicans “are the only ones that have their own (TV) network.”

I was with the Democratic party until Bill Clinton’s second term. It was then I could no longer support the Democrats. I switched to the Republican party until they no longer represented my beliefs.
Now I am not supporting either party. Neither one honors their swearing to defend and protect the Constitution. The majority of them are cowards. Their are millions like me who voted in the last election but our votes were cancelled out by those who think America can provide them with whatever they need, i.e., free housing, free medical care, free education…… I have to ask, if my labor provides all these people with what I worked for to provide for my own children, why can’t I claim them as dependents on my tax return?

This led to the almost total collapse of government in Nothern Europe and the so-called Reformation. The Vaican has always known that the Americas would end up the center of Roman Catholic power in the world. The first attempt to elect a Catholic President failed but the second one succeeded. JFK was thought to be the person to bring Vatican power to the fore front. Unfortunately, he did not produce what was needed and he had to be eliminated. Unfortunately, I think that someone replaced his silver spoon with a spoon made of lead when he was a child. He suffered severe lead poisoning in his early youth which has affected his mental processes. He must have failed basic math in elementary school seeing that there are 7 Socialist, Communist networks along with numerous print media outlets and with only one network, FOX, giving a fair and balanced perspective. 7 against one and that one “Controls the media”? Seems that FOX is watched more often because they tell it like it is.

A) Vote Obama and be “taken care of” …even if that means having nothing and living off of table scraps.
or
B) Vote republican and do all you can to avert the problem…which means no “free ride” and though some may still have nothing and live off of table scraps…they’ll have to work their tails off for even that.
The majority of “Americans” theses days, come from a background where they had nothing before…now they can have crumbs with no effort…the rest just don’t have the spirit or the backbone to work hard and become one of those with “something.”
They get free food, free medical, cheap housing…and all they have to do is stay home and make more illegitimate brats who will follow in their footsteps. A very few will actually work under the table as well, without paying taxes. Do you really expect THIS CURRENT GENERATION to give all that up, in exchange for the POSSIBILITY of having more than they’ll ever dream for…but having to work their ****’s into the ground for 50 years…with no guarantee?

I hear this kind of nonsense about Lincoln far too often. Article 1, Section 9, Clause 2 states:”The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.” Being as how the Confederacy was one giant rebellion, President Lincoln had every right to suspend the right. As far as the 16th and 17th Amendments to the Constitution go, I looked and looked and, as far as I could tell, they were duly ratified by three quarters (3/4 or 0.75 for the more literate here who got schooled other than at home) of the states.

Dec. 9, 2012 at 1:07amWhen you read about the legacy of the entire Kennedy family, you find good things. I have not read that much about RFK, so I don´t know about him. His brother JFK was a pig as a husband and as a person, but also did very good things when he was President. I don’t remember, but I think as Senator he didn’t do anything. Their father was extremely successful financially speaking, and his unique vision for businesses is very remarkable even today. As a person, husband and father, was truly a pig. Ted on the other hand, if I remember well, had a long career with some good things, but mostly bad things. As a person, IMHO, was the worst of them all.
I might be wrong because I read about them long time ago, and I don´t recall all the details, the clan is too big and their history is too long (They have been around the last 100 years).
The world must thank JFK for the eternity for winning the Missile Crisis, and also for the way he shaped the future of the humanity launching the challenge of the man on the moon.

Dec. 9, 2012 at 1:38amAs for Roosevelt, you can say whatever you want about his policies, but that man successfully led the biggest and greatest effort made by any country in the human history, and while he was attached to a chair, he managed to win the war. For that, we the world, owe him the Western Way of Life! He could be all the progressive you want, but when the history made the call, he did what was right and succeed!!

Dec. 9, 2012 at 12:05pmYou should educate yourself on FDR and WWII. The war was over in the spring of 1941 when Hitler decided, at the strongest objections of his Generals, to invade Russia. By Sept. 1941 the Germans, still in their summer gear, found themselves in the middle of nowhere when it started snowing. The Russians kept pulling back until the Germans became stuck in mud so thick they were sitting ducks. FDR in the mean time was illegally funding the Flying Tigers out of China and halted oil shipments from Indonesia to Japan to harass the Japanese so they would attack the U.S. somewhere. FDR had no business getting the U.S. involved in yet another European conflict for the sole purpose of masking his miserable economic policies at home.
