Barack Obama Attends Holiday Party With PSYs Gangnam Style Despite Anti American Controversy

(TheBlaze/AP) — A holiday concert attended Sunday by President Barack Obama and his family included some non-traditional entertainment this year: a performance by South Korean rapper and Internet sensation PSY.

PSY- wearing an all-red outfit including a sparkling, sequined top- was backed by dancers wearing reindeer antlers as he performed his popular “Gangnam Style” dance, which mimics riding a horse.

The rapper, born Park Jae-sang, had apologized Friday for using what he called “inflammatory and inappropriate language” during anti-U.S. protests at concerts in 2002 and 2004.

According to various reports, he publicly wished for American soldiers and their families to be killed “slowly and painfully” during a 2004 concert.

CNN roughly translated:

“Kill those f–ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives and those who ordered them to torture…Kill them all slowly and painfully,” as well as “daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers.”

But his past remarks certainly didn’t dampen the festive holiday mood Sunday for America’s leaders.

Other performers at the charity concert included Diana Ross, Demi Lovato, “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery and Megan Hilty, star of the NBC musical drama “Smash.”

In brief remarks, Obama said the celebration was “a chance to get in the Christmas spirit, spread some joy and sing along with artists who have much better voices than we do.”

He also said the holiday season was a time to remember that everyone is “incredibly blessed in so many ways,” and to share with the less fortunate, such as those in hospitals, shelters and battlefields far from home.

“Those blessings aren’t just meant to be enjoyed, they’re meant to be used and shared with those who have less,” he said.

The “Christmas in Washington” concert benefits Children’s National Medical Center. Before the show, Obama was accompanied by his wife, Michelle, and daughters, Sasha and Malia, as he presented a basket of books to four former patients of the center, who were dressed as elves.

The 31st annual concert was held Sunday at the National Building Museum and was hosted for a second year by comedian Conan O’Brien.

It is scheduled to air Dec. 21 on TNT.

  well just because you don’t like the troops who are murdering people doesn’t mean your anti american. it means your against murder. but although the parents didn’t do a good job discouraging their kids from making a living by murdering people, the parents and family are not doing the murdering themselves and should not get the Nuremberg trials for the crimes committed. so perhaps the singer did have an anti american bias and had the thoughts of most Americans being neo con chicken-hawks when that is certainly not the case.

We are still in the middle of the worst recession since the great depression of the 1930s. Depending on where you look and what demographic you look at, unemployment is above 10%. Millions out of work. Record number of people on food stamps and government assistance programs. We are about to head off this ‘fiscal cliff’ because politicians (Repubs and Dems alike) want to play political games instead of fixing the problems.

And the Obama’s are partying it up… having a g@y old time.

Barry is above all criticism. He understands the world and we are but peons. We cannot grasp the humanity of the most evil people, but he can. He can sacrifice the 4 people in Benghazi because it interferes with his international plans of global socialism. They had to be sacrificed you see. What Barry does is for his gratification, not ours. Even if it looks bad and makes him appear as a statist, that’s alright. He must expand his mind to understand all.

  I disagree 100%. I truly believe it’s worse than that. He whole heartily believes he does what he does for the collective’s salvation. In his mind, he’s sacrificing his own individual salvation so that a collective salvation will occur. It should be noted that The One was reelected and no longer answers to the American people. As he told the Russians he will have wide flexibility after he is reelected. He can invite whomever he wants to his house and if you don’t like it — tough.

So I guess if this is now important every member of congress who has called the marines baby killers has to be kicked out, or every member of the left side of the aisle who has called for the death of President Bush, tea party and anyone who wants less government. All that would be left is the catering staff.

This is still the president who grew up at the feet of Frank Marshall Davis, Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. They did not just call the US all sorts of things some know people who did things to the US and it’s troops. Maybe they can sing around the Moe ordainment on the tree. Not to mention the Muslim Brotherhood all over the place and they are just one phone call away from Hamas, Morsi and those who kidnapped the Doctor that cost the life of a US solders to rescue him.
