Yeah, Google’s Gmail and Chat Are Down (Again) With Upset Users Taking to Twitter
For the many users of Google’s Gmail, Chat, Drive and other applications, the morning and early afternoon hours Monday were disrupted by an unknown error.
The outage was experienced on browsers including Chrome and Safari. This was the message that could be seen when the page failed to load.

At least once within a 10 minute time-frame service returned on Chrome but then went out again.
The website Down Right Now confirms that there is a “likely disruption” with the services. According to Google’s own status page, a service disruption is noted as well. The company says it is investigating the problem and will provide answers shortly.
This is also at least the second time in the last six months that the service has experienced disruptions, much to the chagrin of expectant users. Like the previous outages, many took to Twitter to 1) express frustration of how the task they were doing was interrupted and 2) to confirm that they weren’t the only ones seeing problems.
Here are a few of those tweets:

Posted on December 10, 2012 at 5:32pmWe are not gods. I have less problems with an imperfect Google than I do with my electric company. Yes, my Gmail did not work for about one hour this evening. I am 7 hours ahead of the US East Coast. So I was patient and the Geek Squad at Google worked out the problems. If I expected perfection, I would want G-d to provide browser and email services. Instead I have a flesh and blood company that hiccups on occasion. All I ask of Google: Please don’t encourage revolutions again. Instead of Mubarak who actually honored Peace Treaties, we have the Muslim Brotherhood. Other than that Google is an excellent company in my estimation.

Posted on December 10, 2012 at 3:10pmPeople need to get put on their big boy pants and get over it. Technology (and coincidentally, people) hiccup now and then. They always have and always will. For those that are angry about it, ask for your money back.

Posted on December 10, 2012 at 2:12pmFunny – our internet service was out all morning. Cox internet service in Omaha area of Nebraska. It was down for a couple of hours. They gave no reason why.
Maybe they were linking their information with Google so they can more easily monitor all data. : )
No – seriously – that was probably it. : (

Posted on December 10, 2012 at 1:39pmThe great big seemingly eternal reaching internet is little more than a bunch of physical equipment plugged in to power outlets.
Stuff happens so to anyone who tweeted or posted anything about it elsewhere without waiting 2 or 3 hours… get over yourself. You’re not who you think you are and have absolutely no skin in the game.

Posted on December 10, 2012 at 1:28pmAhhh, the poor whiners! Can’t send email or chat for a little while? Clearly nothing serious has ever happened in their pathetic lives. Try having a major illness or requiring major surgery. Perhaps take care of aging parents in their last years of life. Maybe deal with a child that has a significant birth defect or a major illness.
Ahhh, poor babies! Can’t gossip about nothing!

Posted on December 10, 2012 at 1:29pmBRAVO!!! I couldn’t agree more. I couldn’t tell that Google was down and I’m further south than the tip of Africa, albeit in South America. I’ve had no trouble today getting Gmail on either my laptop or my Droid. I don’t have twitter or BaseFook accounts and never will. Cheers…

It looks like one of the DARLINGS of the REGIME are TAX CHEATS:
Google Revenues Sheltered in No-Tax Bermuda Soar to $10 Billion

It would seem that in this regime’s Animal Farm, some animals are more equal than others.
We ought to BURN THESE MF’ers at the STAKE.

Posted on December 10, 2012 at 1:17pmEveryone should start using BING exclusively and drop GOOGLE since they seem to think
they’re above the law and above all the average folks who are already taxed 50%+.
Google is the 1%. There should be a mass tax revolt until the criminal players like GOOGLE
start playing by the SAME RULES that hard-working citizens have to follow.
