Parents Charged After Egging on Teen Daughter in Fight Video That Goes Viral

Two parents in Georgia have been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after they picked up their seventh-grade daughter and brought her to a bus stop in order to brawl with a fellow student.

Police charged Timothy Taylor and Shequita Cade with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

They also charged Taylor with battery after the video showed him bringing his daughter, a seventh-grade student at Tucker Middle School, to fight with another girl at their bus stop on Post Oak Drive.

Taylor can be heard on the video shouting, “nobody better try to jump in neither”.

Someone was around to take video of the scuffle (although it’s unclear who) and posted it on YouTube. It quickly went viral. WSB-TV has an edited version of the raw footage below:

“My child could have died. She could have hit the concrete the wrong way. Their child could have died. And then who’s charged with the murder?” Quateka Durden told the news station regarding her 14-year-old daughter, Quinnaya.

Despite the father’s command that no one step in, a neighbor eventually broke up the fight:

It’s unclear what, exactly, prompted the assault. Taylor and Cade apparently told police that Durden had been bullying their daughter. A separate hearing is scheduled at school for Monday.

  This is proof positive of the “trailer parkization” of America. Encouraging bad behavior in adolescents, videotaping it, and posting it on a social network is the new norm. I have two daughters, and I would be appalled that either one of them would fight, or try to inflict harm upon another person.

This happens nearly every day at my one son’s middle school and the other’s high school. They sweep it under the rug so as not to sully the reputation of the school. I love the names of the females: Quateka, Quinaya, Shequita (4, 5, bananas).

Being that I live a few miles from where this happened, and am in the same county/school district, I am totally disgusted, but not surprised. Nothing will happen to either child and this will continue in this school and district. Bullying is tolerated and nothing is done when it happens, believe me, I was bullied as a teacher in this district by students and their treatment of me while pregnant, threatening to punch my stomach to kill my child, spitting in my lunch, and so many other things was disgusting and not a darn thing happened until I threatened to sue the district, and I was moved to another school-nothing happened to the children.

Too many in our society are out of control, and the parents should be locked up and have parental rights taken away, as this is no way to raise a child. Both girls should be expelled from school, if one was bullying, and the other for starting a fight. But I know DeKalb County, and nothing will happen!

I’d be willing to bet the girl was being bullied by the other girl and her father wanted her to stand-up to her without a pack of other girls getting into the fight. People like this need a boxing ring, gloves and a referee along wit the freedom to fight it out if that’s what it takes for them to get over their stupidity

I’m always amused by this country’s (society’s?) infatuation with fuzzing out faces, license plates, signage, etc on videos/photos. Pretty much everywhere else…often referred to as the “real world”…there are no fuzzed out reports. Yeah, I know…its the frakkin’ lawyers. Still oxymoronic.

I know in this PC culture its automatically “racist” to tell the truth about black people (yet perfectly fine to lie about whites), but it still remains the truth no matter how you slice it. This country has been all but totally destroyed and these animals are the NUMBER ONE reason. While the marxists that control our schools are ultimately to blame, they NEVER would have even had a chance to do this to us if not for the savage nature and extremely low intelligence of african americans.   The thing I find amusing is the comments regarding “sign of the times” and “this generation”.
  
  We used to enslave people due to the Color of people’s skin in this country.
  We used to have live gun fights in the streets due to a disagreement.
  We used to hang people because they were accused of something, and would be hung on the spot with no trial.
  Black people used to have to ride on the back of the bus until the 1960s.
  Before guns became mainstream amongst criminals, disputes were taken care of via fists or knives.
  I don’t know where you have been, but fist fights aren’t new, and we have made some strides towards becoming more civil.

  The comments I made are racial in nature. Even though many have tried to blur the definitions together, it is not the same thing. A racial comment is like saying Caucasians have blonde hair. Since blonde hair is not a naturally occurring phenomenon in other genetic subgroups, it would be a racial denotation.
  
  If you look at DOJ statistics, a white person is 59 times more likely to be the victim of a violent crime where the perpetrator is black than the other way around. According to the CDC, homicide is the leading cause of death in black males, 15-34. According to the CDC, homicide is the second leading cause of death in black females, 15-34. The leading cause of death in black females, 15-34, is HIV and related medical conditions. Black males are in prison at a rate 8 times higher than whites when ranked on a per capita basis.
  
  Those of European descent are involved in violent behavior. The raw numbers say that there are more whites involved in violent behavior than any other segment of the population. A literate person would understand that because whites of European extraction make up nearly 70% of the population in this country that the numbers reflect that certitude. When the numbers are extrapolated over the population demographic the truth is seen. Blacks participate in violent activity at a much higher rate than do white. Blacks are about 13% of the population.

  O and Keatonc33, I have found Jesus and do love my neighbor. There is nowhere in the Bible that states that loving your neighbor is tantamount to be blindly ignorant of your neighbor. Nothing I have stated is incorrect. The Bible clearly has a dialogue about these children of curse, Genesis 9 and what will happen in the future, Proverbs 30. One interesting note is that sub-Saharan Africa isn’t mentioned at all in the last days.

I’m sorry but the truth hurts. They ARE dumber than the rest of us – statistically anyway. The “Bell Curve” was right, even though I tried not to accept it for years. I can’t fight the truth any longer. A 160 IQ doctor like Ben Carson, is a 160 IQ person for which color is non-determinant. Unfortunately, over 90% of his likewise melanin-rich citizens did not get anything close to his brains. But a lot of them can jump high. Its purely genetic statistics, like anything else about bodily related functions. IQ and wisdom can be nourished and encouraged by or not by a quality or lack of a quality home environment. Unfortunately in a statistically determined culture, the encouraging home environment is missing for most of the blacks as well. Look at the number on welfare (runs in the family tree it seems), the number who abort their own babies, the number who commit serious crimes most specifically against their own race. Look at that despicable pig of a Detroit councilwoman who kept bleating for the “bacon” from the government. Or the “Obama-phone” idiot in Cleveland. Worst of all, they voted for a leftist Alinskyite who could give a rats ass about his own race. He kowtows to the white Chicago Nazi party.

  I’m afraid I have to disagree with that assessment. His entire adult life has bee concerned SOLELY with blacks and all things black, as a community organizer. He wanted to be president to do EXACTLY the same thing on a national level, and that’s EXACTLY what he is doing. If anybody but blacks benefit from it it is strictly an unintended consequence. He has appointed people in his administration who are either self-hating whites or racist blacks, all of which despise Euro-Americans and traditional American values, and this country.
  
  And, tell me, how could anybody legitimately dispute the Bell Curve? It is one of the greatest works of scholastic achievement in the 20th century.

All children have fathers. I think you referring to whether or not the father’s name is indicated on the birth certificate. Since both of the girls are black, from statistics collected form both the 2010 census and other possibly more reliable sources, there is a average 78% chance neither girl has an “identified” father or her birth certificate.

Can’t wait for those two to enter the workforce. Or are they also being brought up to depend on the good ol USofA to supply all their needs? Gives them plenty of time to fight anyway.

Shameful what these parents are teaching their children these days. I hope the instigators are given some serious mind blowing community service in the hope that it will alter their way of looking at life.

I dunno… were they fighting over who had the best name in the whole “buckwild” world? I can’t make heads or tails of this video. Was it a fight about nothing more than a bunch of Shequita or about who has the nicest Quateka on the block? Looks like a bunch of Quinnaya if you ask me.

Anyways…. whatever happened to simple names like Honey Boo Boo or Bubba ??

  Studies have shown that employers are much more likely to hire someone with an easily remembered “normal” name like John or Mary than someone with a highly unusual ethnic name. Black parents that give their children pseudo-African names are only putting one more stumbling block in their kids’ path.

  I close friend who is an OB/GYN said she delivered a child once and asked what do you want to call your baby girl. The mom filled out the paper work. She looked at it and asked are you sure this is the name you want for your girl? Chlamydia! The woman said yes. Then The doctor told her she might want to change a few letters as not to name your baby after an STD. She gave her a new form to fill out. LOL Why people make up names so your child will be unique?
