Allen West Doubles Down: ‘Marxist, Socialist’ Obama Right to Feel ‘Arrogant’ After Election — Here’s Why
Rep. Allen West (R-FL), who recently lost his re-election bid to Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy, appeared on Fox News with Sean Hannity Monday to discuss his recent comments to radio host Mark Levin.
West said to Levin on Thursday: “This whole thing about having having negotiations with President Obama is silly…President Obama is Marxist, socialist, rigid ideologue and for whatever reason, he believes he has some self-conceived mandate to go out and further destroy and ruin our economy.”
West elaborated for Hannity Monday, saying President Obama has every right to feel “arrogant” after winning re-election since he will never be held accountable for the policies he’s implementing. According to West, the only thing Republicans can do is have “unity based on principles” and stop with the “circular firing squad.”
But the discussion began with a thorough explanation of why West is saying the president is a Marxist and a socialist; it is not just an arbitrary insult.
West calmly listed one reason after another:
I think when you sit down and you look at the policies that have emanated from President Obama, his administration, this entire class warfare rhetoric that we continue to hear is definitely a Marxist theory. When you look at the nationalizing of production– be it the health care industry, Dodd Frank with the financial industry, the automobile industry, what Lisa Jackson and the EPA are doing to the energy sector, and of course the National Labor Relations Board– that’s nationalizing production.
When you look at the incredible expansion of the welfare nanny state, and all of the sudden belief in economic fairness, economic patriotism, fairness and fair shot– those are the types of theories that are not consistent with a constitutional republic, definitely not consistent with our Founding Fathers and the type of people they read, be it Rousseau, Montesquieu, or John Locke. [Emphasis added]
So how does that affect current discussions in Washington? Does Obama have to be concerned with the results of his policies, or just the immediate gratification of his electorate?
West continued:
So when you talk about the arrogance of the president– we re-elected someone that went from 10.6 trillion to 16 trillion in debt. We’ve had four straight years of trillion dollar deficits. We’ve had incredible, earth-shattering numbers of Americans in poverty, Americans on food stamps. We’ve seen a 32% increase in welfare spending. We’ve seen gas prices being exorbitantly high.
So he has every right to be arrogant, and feel that he is never going to be held responsible.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 2:32pmWhat makes it worse is that Obama pushes his agenda with lies and posturing. He will not state his philosophy of governance and engage in an honest debate about it. But then, he probably realizes it would not be popular with the majority of people in this country.

I’m still trying to grasp how the people of Florida would have the good sense to get rid of a trouser-stain like Alan Grayson, and then follow it up by booting a true patriot like Col. West.
It has to be voter fraud, pure and simple.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 2:49pmLiving in Miami it was heartbreaking to see this state go blue again, so convenient that all those swing states just happened to go Blue. Unfortunately I fear that Florida is part of the next Liberal Project. Like California and New York, they are moving to make it another blue State ruled over by the big corrupt cities.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 2:03pmAllen West is a true patroit and for sure a straight shooter. I’d like to see him in the White House in 2016. But in the meantime, he’s one of the few men who can take Obama on and show him for what he is and expose not only his arrogance but his lack of understanding and lleadership. What is really sad is that until the mainstream media starts to peel back the onion and exposes Obama and his agenda not much will change except the mainstream media will continue becoming irrelevant. Men want work and no handouts and pretty soon the majority of men are going to demand more.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 1:12pmthe only point i disagree with West on is o’s arrogant feeling ‘after’ the election. o has been arrogant since day one four years ago and nothing but dethroning will stop that. he has an air of invincibility because so far he has been.
frankly, i’m tired of any and all Repubs droning on about ‘o’ this and ‘o’ that. no matter how correct they are and how deceitful o is, it all amounts to a bunch of whining, which the Dems ‘bathe’ themselves in, unless someone or something can be done about it.
look how long and much money has been spent on F&F and still haven’t been able to hang Holder. wait until Clinton appears before the committee on Benhgazi. she should be held liable for those deaths, but nothing will happen to her. she will even run for prez in 2016. that is her punishment.

“Pursed lips: Lips which are pulled inwards from all directions are an indication of tension and may indicate frustration or disapproval. Pursed lips are a classic sign of anger, including when it is suppressed. It is effectively holding the mouth shut to prevent the person saying what they feel like saying. Pursed lips with raised head: lips convey disagreement and disapproval. It communicates a desire to end the discussion. A raised chin implies aggression that may be acted on if the conversation is not ended. This is also a sign of disapproval. It indicates that the person has fixed views that cannot be changed. This usually reveals an arrogant and superficial character.
Head held high and/or chest out… Is a sign of ARROGANCE and/or DOMINANCE.”

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 12:54pmAllen West is correct. Obama is arrogant and rightfully so. He swept onto the national scene, was never vetted and has literally torn this country apart with very little opposition. Obama is untouchable because the media, with the exception of Fox and conservative talk radio, have his back.
Obama will become increasingly despotic in the coming months. He has the power and he will use it to further erode America by stirring up racial and class warfare. Add increasing regulations, taxes, fees, fewer jobs and more people on welfare to the mix and you can see which way the wind is blowing.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 12:57pmYou are so correct. Even the word of God says, “some men’s sins go open before God, some men’s sins follow after”. It is so merciful of God if he exposes a man’s sins and deals with them on this side of life. If he doesn’t that is truly a very sad state to be in on judgment day. To be nothing but a puppet and patsy for the new world order elites and not have any reality until that fateful day when you stand before the creator of the universe is very sad indeed. I thank God that I am not Obama or like people like him.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 1:32pmLook, at the end of the day you have to strip all of the rhetoric and propaganda out of the election and distill it down to some key points. Despite the RINO status of Romney his main point during the whole election was that “he’ll create jobs and that America will go back to work”. The response was that 62M people said “eff that noise”.
We are a nation of parasites and the election and statistics prove that out. The only thing I can’t figure out is the arrogance and bravado of those who voted for it. Not only is there no shame in being a leech there is pride in it. When millions celebrate being leech servants of the state, then I live in a world I don’t understand.

Were you part of those 62 million that said “eff that noise?” As far as I’m concerned there were three types of voters out there this cycle just as in the last. Romney voters, Obama voters and Obama enablers. “Eff” any other “noise” IMO…
I only read ONE former die-hard Ron Paul supporter from The Blaze that had the cajones to admit that he voted for Romney. PROGSLAYER…
Did you go with your “conscience” plus whatever rationale of other 62 million had, or did you go with some semblance of common sense?

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 4:29pmI voted for the Constitution and the constitutionalist candidate.
Furthermore, I could give to shakes about “as far as your concerned”. Makes no matter to me. But since you breached the topic, I think there were two types of voters. Those that respect the constitution and vote for a return to constitutional government and those that crap on the constitution and convince themselves that their candidate is somehow and acceptable departure from constitutional doctrine.
Not sure why I responded to your post. I think I pretty much said my peace to you already. Yet, your formulaic approach shines through yet again. We’ll create the strawman and beat the crap out of it right? You set the parameters, you define the conditions, then trash people based on your little construct. While you haven’t seen those with “cajones” to play your game, I would argue that you are the only one I’ve seen on the board as of late still trying to convince people that AA and that through some intellectual gymnastics only comprehensible to the enlightened few that A does in fact really equal B.
I don’t know what to tell you, the RINO’s lost…again. You’re party is going the way of the Whigs. You abandoned the constitution and are simply panhandling for the “uninformed vote”. It’s pretty sad really. But hey, maybe you can drop to your knees and service John Boehner in 4 years. That would be a treat for you.

They get rid of this fantastic man, and then get rid of a very good man, Mitt Romney, and keep the worst president in U.S. history. hussein’s voice makes me sick, and all he does it give speeches. Worthless speeches. When a serious president would stay at the White House until issues were resolved, this celebrity muslim clown is out giving speeches that have absolutely NO meaning. Just flapping his jaws for the applause, nothing more. He is a waste. A complete waste.
