‘Real News’: New ObamaCare Taxes and Fees to Kick in Soon, Some Democrats Change Tune
Nancy Pelosi once said that we’d need to pass ObamaCare so we could see what’s in it. Over two years since the health reform bill’s passage and we are still finding out some of the less than pleasant details, including a number of taxes and fees set to go into effect soon.
From a tax is to be placed on medical devices that will cost Americans more than $28 billion over the next decade, a $25 billion fee in 2014 to cover the uninsured, and a a new 3.8 percent Obamacare surtax on investment income for individuals who make over $200,000 a year, among other taxes and fees. Minnesota’s Democratic senators are raising alarms over the planned tax on medical devices, with Senators Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar–who mind you both voted for Obamacare–now arguing that the tax could be a job and innovation killer for Minnesota’s device companies including St. Jude Medical and Medtronic.
The “Real News” panel discussed the senators change of heart and when other Democrats will start to have to hear more “we told you so” on the inconvenient costs of ObamaCare:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on December 12, 2012 at 2:00pmIs ANYONE, ANYWHERE in the lamestream media asking these two brilliant rulemakers WHY THEY VOTED FOR IT IN THE FIRST PLACE???
Sheese, Minnesota! You REALLY think sending these two Einsteins to represent you was the right thing to do??? Please, please, please make the right choice next time, OK?
How many times do I have to say it?!
“War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.”
The United States of America is – BY FAR – the strongest nation on earth…

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 1:55pmAnd this is only the beginning stages of implementing Obamacare, just wait until the death panels are in place and people see what they can and can’t get. This in concert with the impending tax increases via the financial cliff, whatever that is, is going to make many people very angry. So, you get what you elect and this time around the Democrats rule the roost, so, guess what, they own the problems as well.

Now you Obamabots are about to find out just how badly you will be screwed by the communists in DC! Good luck, losers. As for the rest of us, lock and load, its’ almost time to dance.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 7:19amThe sad part is, even though we were told “we need to pass it to see what’s in it”, two years later WE THE PEOPLE still do not know what is really in it. Most frightening is the fact that the very ones that passed it don’t either. But alas, once the companies and individuals start paying some of these “Affordable Health Care” taxes we will all realize how unaffordable it really is. I am sure The Blame it on US Chief will take Air Force One on a nationwide tour to reinforce what the conserves have done to our country.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 9:04amObamacare has created jobs for the nameless people who are currently making up all the government regulations to go along with it. At this point in time, the original 2,700 pages has now metastasized to 13,000. Tens of thousands of pages of regulations are needed to “properly” implement all the intentions laid out in those first short, sweet 2,700 pages that almost nobody ever got around to reading. As just one example of how industrious the regulation writers are, it took 18 pages simply to define a “full time employee”.

Maybe these healthcare companies were great campaign contributors to the two of them. Love this turn around on these two libs.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 7:44amThis yet another example of partisan politics Franken and Klobacher towed the party line just like all demoncrats do…..Fact is no bill should ever be signed because your party started it until the entire congress has read it and understands whats in it. Obamacare is a prime example of corruption at the highest level in a government it should be a blazing example of the evils of a two party system. We need a 50 party system each state representative representing their state and not their political party. Perhaps have an independent outside group read bills and have the congress take a test on their knowledge of it before they can vote on it.
As for these two a-hole their voters should look at this as reason one to never elect a democrat ever again. And as for the two Republicans that jumped ship to vote on a bill they never even saw much less read they should be electorically crusified by thier voters

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 1:43amThis bill was NEVER about healthcare – just CONTROL.
Long ago, when our “leaders” were exempted from the
same laws they pass which affect US, was when the
first battles were lost. Now, they are too ingrained into
an all-consuming, self-serving monarchy, such that we
will never regain control by peaceful means (voting).
Maybe that’s why DHS has contracted for 1.6 billion
rounds of hollow-point ammo in the past 12 months.
The Geneva convention outlawed hollow-point ammo
for battlefield use – so who are the DHS going to use
these rounds on? Oh, wait – -our country is not a
battlefield….yet. US pop…..330 million+….rounds
ordered….1.6 BILLION……do the math.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 12:05amIf a bill hasn’t been read before it is passed, how will anyone know what was added AFTER it was passed?
Could not whoever wrote the bill have just added anything he wanted to once it was passed? Nobody would have known that it wasn’t in there previously anyway.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 11:45pmThe “health care bill” was never about health care
It is a cloaked “Cloward and Piven” virus designed to cause the bankruptcy of this nation.
Then with the right people in charge, they can bring it back under a new order of social justice for all.
It was never about health care, it was always about the end of America

Now it is too late, this program should go through and let the people in Minn. see what idiots they elected, and next time get their brains straight and vote in proper thinking Senators.
