Beck’s Christmas Album Makes iTunes Top 20 — And Here’s Your Chance to Hear Some of It Before Tomorrow’s Blaze TV Special
If you’re a fan of Glenn Beck, you’ve probably heard by now that on December 13th at 8:00 p.m. ET, TheBlaze TV will air a Christmas special featuring holiday music, touching stories, and a real-life nativity play:
But wait! That’s not all!
At 9:30 p.m. ET, TheBlaze TV will also feature “American Traditions: Christmas” — “a look at what Christmas has meant to American families over the years, with appearances by Andy Williams, Peter Billingsley, Janine Turner, Ted Nugent and Santa Claus.”
(Because what would Christmas be without the Motor City Madman?)
But what Beck is really excited about is the music. Yup, TheBlaze TV Christmas special prominently features original music composed by Clyde Bawden and Jason Barney and featuring the voices of Michelle Moyer, Freddie Ashby, and David Osmond.
Here’s Beck talking about the music – which was put together at his direction — at the 4:59 mark:
That music has started to burn up the digital world. How so? Well, as of this writing, the album is sitting in the top 20 on iTunes and just outside the top 10 at number 17:
You can preview and purchase the music via Amazon or on iTunes by clicking here.
And you can even check out Beck’s Spotify music list below:
In the meantime, listen to the artists’ reinterpretation of “Joy to the World” below. It’s sure to strike a chord:
Be sure to tune into the Christmas special at 8 p.m. ET online at TheBlaze TV (sign up here) or on Dish channel 212.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 10:49amYup. Like Van Jones (or Benny Hinn), FAKE-conservative/libertarian Glenn Beck will use EMOTION and music to TRICK PEOPLE into trusting him and following him to vote for PROGRESSIVE REPUBLICANS over and over and over. Thus moving our nation FURTHER LEFT… while POSING as someone… FIGHTING… the left.
It’s heart breaking that so many Americans are so easily duped.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 7:02amGood music. I think it’s very well done. Another famous vocalist who slipped through our fingers, dying in 1998 was America’s Favorite Forgotten singer, John Gary. Do you have two and a half minutes? Go here with speakers on and listen to ‘an old ***** spiritual,’ sung by John, honoring ‘Sweet Baby Jesus.’

CHARLIE BROWN: “I guess I don’t really know what Christmas is all about. ISN’T THERE ANYONE WHO KNOWS WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT?”
LINUS: “Sure, Charlie Brown. I can tell you what Christmas is all about.”
And then, he tells … the lie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQeKdvXliIU&t=2m23s
But here is what Christmas is really REALLY all about:
* Merit Students Encyclopedia *
“December 25 was an important holiday long before the rise of Christianity. The Romans knew it as natalis solis invicti (‘the day of the birth of the unconquered sun’). Natalis solis invicti fell during the great Roman winter festival, the Saturnalia. It was also the most important feast day of the Mithraic religion, one of the chief rivals of early Christianity.”
“When the LORD your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’ YOU SHALL NOT WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD IN THAT WAY; for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods; …”

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 6:45amIs the language you are quoting the Bible, English, pagan? So making your point invalid?
Is the word Christ itself pagan? As it comes from the Greek Work Cristos?
You can go on and on. Fundamentalism is a tool of destruction of the faith. The Obamas of Christianity: Luther, Calvin, Henry VIII, the founders of protestantism used it for personal gain. They exploited shallow logic and the ignorance of the masses. They destroyed the unity of the Church and they created the roots of the depraved secular society.
All your questions and doubts have been answered by the Catholic theologians, centuries ago. Just study them.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 6:53amThe Nativity was celebrated on a completely different day originally…Rome just changed it later. You’re right, Dec. 25 was a pagan Roman holiday, but the Eastern church always celebrated the Nativity with Theophany on January 6. It’s not like no one ever celebrated it until they wanted to supplant the pagan rite “just because” as if it was the earliest of Hallmark holidays. You’ve got the order wrong.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 9:00pmSorry, but the music just plain sucks. It’s way too slow and down right depressing. I almost have to turn off the radio show when he plays it so much. Even though I agree with Glenn on many things, his taste in music is not one of them. I wish he would recognize that not all his listeners enjoy crappy music and would not attempt to promote on every block of his show.

Give thanks to God for the gift of his son, Jesus and His death on the cross, that brings us eternal life…if only we repent of our sins and ask Him into our hearts! Merry Christmas fellow Americans!

Posted on December 14, 2012 at 1:16amAmen. I couldn’t have said it better, after reading the bitter, hateful and cynical posts written by others on this thread. If anything, they could use a lesson to be taken from the Christmas special Glenn aired tonight on The Blaze tv. They are fooling themselves, when they state that the music “sucks”, because the odds are, that the person who posted that particular comment, cannot sing.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 7:37pmThat’s not uncommon, really. Sometimes you’ll see an article posted one day at twelve, like you said, and five hours later only have a few comments. I would conclude that it is where the article was placed on the website. If you notice some stories end up only in the several categories to the right of the front page, not within the front page itself, probably ending up with a low amount of viewership, therefore hardly any comments.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 5:11pmNow down to No.31. Still, Beck’s company obviously downloaded enough for them to get a photo of it in the charts! Check it out – I bet it’s out of the top 100 by tomorrow. I see Charlie Brown’s album is above him in the charts – but Charlie’s a far more rounded character. Go on Glenn, give us a song – how about Abba’s “Money, money money”??

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 4:51pmNearly impossible to get beyond what we just went through. The re-election of a very evil man who hates everything about America and I believe Americans. Stands up for everyone except We the People and to think it did not have to be this way but millions stayed home because this beautiful God given country just was not worth going in and voting. Many because it just wasn’t the candidate they wanted and many who just would not vote for a Mormon – a Mormon that is a giant of a family man, a husband, a proven leader, loves this country and above all loves God. Never been so disgusted and angry and hope all who did that lives pure misery the next four years.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 4:04amI understand your frustration – the results of this election was a body blow to a lot of people who were travailing for a return to the Judeo/Christian values of our Founders. Even if every member of the current regime suddenly was magically gone – the problem would not be, the people that have been completely indoctrinated into the agenda that snow is black made it happen.
The end game for Fabians, Frankfurt School, Antonio Gramsci, Mattechine Society and Committees of Correspondence, Alinski all the way to Obama. If you don’t know exactly how all this ties together -
watch Agenda, for the moment its free on line and is the best movie I have seen of condensing what has gone wrong with America and why is has an enemy in her midst wanting to drive her people in a direction to destroy them – the left rots and corrupts every moral and decent thing as they push the envelope to create an America so corrupt it stinks.
This is the most comprehensive, best movie I have seen pulling all this together. Watch it. Share it.
It should be mandatory viewing for every one who still wants the America of the Founders

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 4:49pmI am sure you are critical of every other music producer that profits from the talents of others. Apparently you have a problem funding the recording, and promoting music, while at the same time causing the performer to become successful. Some of us call that capitalism…it is truly a wonderful thing. And these songs are fantastic regardless of what you think about the producer!

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 7:50pmKeaton33– Next thing you know Beck will be selling $129.99 pairs of blue jeans! He’s such a class act. I sure hope he has another restore honor thing and brings that jar of urine with him maybe that Costas wig too. Now that was pure comic genius. Beck could take a dump on stage and these Beckbots would line up to pay $100.00 for a whiff. Barnum, Bailey and Beck! You gotta love it!

Wow, you troll types are sure obsessed with Beck’s expensive jeans, the Costos wig, The beer filled jar with bobblebama in it, and on, and on, and on. I’ve now heard this so many times . You think that all ‘beckbots’ do is come here and blindly support Beck. I’ve got some sad news for you it doesn’t work that way. Most come here to read the interesting articles and make funny and/or intelligent comments in order to voice their opinions, not to buy stuff advertised here. Advertisers like the Blaze because they want access to the many diverse people who come here including you.
Sadly, based on the projection of what you think ‘beckbots’ do, I’d say you own 30 or 40 worthless vegematics, a bunch of junky knive sets and one of those Johnston (much smaller than a Johnson) pump extenders which you either bought off the Chrissy Mathews comedy relief hour, the Huffington Post, or through your internet provider’s section called ‘junk email’.
If you believe much of what you say, you need serious help, really You need a shrink even if you just come to the Blaze to harass ‘beckbots’. You’re probably waiting for Obamacare to kick in before you go. You need help now. You can still get help for free from a clinic before Barrycare kicks in. Also I know a lawyer, and he’d probably represent you pro bono in a lawsuit against your former grade school, high school, and/or college. You did go to school? They ripped you off if you think they provided
