Just after midnight on Wednesday, officers responded to a call in Richland Hills, Texas after a man told 911 operator that he carved a “pentagram” into his 6-year-old son’s back for the “holy day.”

The father, identified as Brent Troy Bartel, was eventually arrested and charged with assaulting his son on Wednesday.

The 911 call, made just minutes after midnight on 12-12-12, was as bizarre as the gruesome act itself.

“I shed some innocent blood,” Bartel told the 911 operator.

“What do you mean, sir?”

“I inscribed a pentagram on my son,” he replied.

“Why did you do that?”

“Because it’s a holy day,” the man said.

During the same time, the boy’s mother called 911 from a neighbor’s house claiming that her husband was hurting their child.

When officers arrived at the Richland Hills home they found the 6-year-old in pajama pants, a large pentagram carved into his back. The carving actually covered the majority of his back, according to police.

Blaze please educate yourself. 12-12-12 is double 666. The man is a satan worshiper. Evidenced by calling it a holy day, and what he did to an innocent little child, especially his own. No conscience, no love, no morals. Dwelling in the deepest depths of darkness lost in insanity void of all that is decent and right. If he lived in S. America long ago he would have been a high priest ripping hearts out. No doubt the great possibility exists if he is ever let out he may actually do it in this day and age.

Ummm if he is a satanist he’s a dumb one. If that’s the symbol he carved into the kid it’s the wrong one to be praising satan with. The point of the star is supposed to point down not up. If you point it up it wards off or binds evil, not invites it. That symbol is supposedly the seal that keeps the devil in his prison in hell. It makes me think of other things satanists try to claim as their own like the upside down cross. It was originally a christian symbol. It represents the cross of St. Peter.

I doubt this man, and I use the term man loosely, got the dates mixed up. the call came in shortly after midnight, I’m guessing he did this at 12:12 am on 12/12/12. this guy should stay in prison until the next 12/12/12.

  The difference is that if a person comes to me and tells me that they raped a child I would call the cops and tell him to apologize to the family that he wronged.
  
  Whereas if a person comes to a Priest he is bound by a fake oath with a mythical creature to not turn him into the police and instead of admitting to the crime, tells him to apologize to that mythical creature that he wronged.

  Well that’s just flat out wrong. Their code of ethics actually says they should report if their patient is an immediate threat to cause harm to themselves or to others.
  
  Again, are they saying it’s “wrong” because they actually think it’s wrong, or because they afraid they are going to go to hell? If they had no threat of hell, would they report their crime?
  
  Also, how do you respond to not just the priests raping little boys, but the other priests who shuffled them around to avoid prosecution and send them onto other unsuspecting families?

I say take him to the hospital, put him under, neuter him & then when he wakes up tell him he isn’t ever going to make anymore kids. Then, after that sinks in, put a .45 SLUG RIGHT BETWEEN HIS EYES! There should be a law that anyone who commits a crime & is sentenced to more than one year in jail, they should be neutered, so they cannot reproduce anymore obummer voters, welfare babies etc!

I heard this on the radio today on my way home from work. I became so angry at this man. It was like the last straw for me or something, I was horrified and so pi**ed off at the same time. I found myself saying “I can’t take any more of this!” :(
WHAT KIND OF MONSTER DOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO A CHILD? (or Anyone!!) I can’t even wrap my mind around the despicable nature of this. God help me understand these things! :(

This “man” needs to be worm food. I have a 6 year old. When he was a baby, he had colic. I can’t tell you the number of times he would scream at all hours of the night. The wife and I took turns rocking, burping, singing, etc, to no avail. Many nights I would have to put him in his crib so I could “take a break” and try to regain my composure. It was difficult. Now he is 6 and I need to take a break from time to time, but for other reasons :)

Actually, these days the term pentagram refers to the Baphomet or the all familiar inversed pentacle stolen by Satanists. The image depicting said pentagram is refered to as the pentacle.
