New Video Shows Alleged Union Activists Cutting Up and Distributing Pieces of Ransacked Tent

A swarm of alleged pro-union activists on Tuesday destroyed a tent owned by the pro-right-to-work group Americans for Prosperity.

TheBlaze showed you video of both the tent being taken down and of alleged pro-union activists assaulting conservatives who were on the scene.

And now we get this:

“An hour after the Americans for Prosperity tent is destroyed on the Michigan Capitol lawn, a demonstrator in a Teamster jacket cuts shards from the tarp and hands out as souvenirs,” reads the video’s description.

Why were they collecting “souvenirs”?

According to one woman in the video, AFP workers were holding signs accusing union workers of being “sleazeballs” and “lazy.” However, as of this writing, there is no evidence to back up this claim.

Meanwhile, unions and their left-wing allies have accused AFP of staging the whole thing:

The shame is that some of these people may be decent, fun loving people at heart. But look what Unions have brought out in them. The worst. Chock that up as one of the most urgent reasons to get rid of Unions. It really does have nothing to do with money or rights. Unions are preying on the worst of human instincts to make their statement, for their own pockets. They should either get a job, or create their own jobs and hire all the Union employees they want. but they wont. They don’t know how. they don’t care to learn how. They don’t even want to.

  Rather than waste time with a typical anti-union piece, it might be useful to provide a history of worker safety, employee benefits, holiday and vacation time that virtually all employees enjoy and where exactly they originated from. While you can object to some of their organizational prowess and tactics, how can you possible object to workers standing united in negotiating wages, benefits and general working conditions. It is a very democratic approach to what would otherwise be a very one sided transaction. One only do a little research on the working conditions and fair labor practices in the mid to late 1800′s to see why a balance in the transaction is necessary.

If you think for one minute that the employer doesn’t care more about his most valuable assets, HIS EMPLOYEES, you don’t know business. Payroll is the first thing that gets paid. Otherwise it’s a layoff because you can’t not pay people on payday. The owner is the very last to be paid. Always the last. I welcome all Americans to know the history of unions. Find out why the AFL and the CIO battled for 2 decades before consolidating.   I know tent rentals. It takes about 6-8 people at the shop and at the site. It will cost about $500 for the company to setup and tear down an event. Maybe more. This one, at least 300. Being Mich they are probably Union, so call it $800 with payroll, taxes, insurance, transportation (union) then taxes on the Income. It’s not pretty. And the customer has to eat all of it in the end.

We still do not know the identity of the person who attacked Steven Crowley. It will be interesting to learn the identity and affiliation of this person. After that, it will probably be a bit more difficult to claim that it was a staged event!

I think everyone comes off as stupid here – there is a tendency on this site for any *really* nutso right-wing stuff to come from “liberal plants” (it’s common enough that I used to go by that name online), but at the same time, the union people here should own up to it, and acknowledge that it being staged is extremely unlikely.

They planned for it as part of their participation. There are victims here. I want them made whole. If they want- fear and psychological damage too. Not only are unions violent they are FN liars. They learned well from Obama. Can never take blame for their impudence. It would not surprise me if they had teamsters portray Tea Party people to make it look like they did this. We need to fight with fire. Next time dress up as a union person and create wholly hell. Of course, Tea Party members have more couth and class, so that would not happen.

I want AFP to file suit against all the unions there, then let them prove none of their people participated. That was an expensive tent. What if it was a rented tent? Union members only care about themselves. They are nothing but selfish bastards.

The guy cutting the tent should be charged with theft and destruction of property, and be made to pay the full replacement cost of the tent (one that size is very expensive). The people taking the tent pieces should be charged with possession of stolen property.

No, you are right. It will be between those that work a honest days work and those that want a handout. I know I am tired of being told that I am the problem when I get up every day and go to work and have more and more of my paycheck taken. We are seriously thinking of moving to Alaska as when it hits the fan, Alaska will be all but forgetten and far enough away they cannot get to it. It is not my fault some are lazy, made stupid decisions, and never took school seriously. Socialism should be renamed Jealousism. Because you have to be jealous of what someone else has to be a socialist. My wife and I are seriously considering dropping out when our last child graduates and working at Walmart. Why go through all the crap we go through just to have the government steal it and give it to someone who didn’t earn it.

Does anyone else see another Civil War coming?

I’m not saying I am supporting another Civil War or that I want to see it, all I’m saying is just looking at the severe divisions in this country, how people are acting towards one another, and how the MSM is covering everything (more like propaganda), and how the government is dividing us and monitoring us.
