A swarm of alleged pro-union activists on Tuesday destroyed a tent owned by the pro-right-to-work group Americans for Prosperity.
TheBlaze showed you video of both the tent being taken down and of alleged pro-union activists assaulting conservatives who were on the scene.
And now we get this:
“An hour after the Americans for Prosperity tent is destroyed on the Michigan Capitol lawn, a demonstrator in a Teamster jacket cuts shards from the tarp and hands out as souvenirs,” reads the video’s description.
Why were they collecting “souvenirs”?
According to one woman in the video, AFP workers were holding signs accusing union workers of being “sleazeballs” and “lazy.” However, as of this writing, there is no evidence to back up this claim.
Meanwhile, unions and their left-wing allies have accused AFP of staging the whole thing:

Chock that up as one of the most urgent reasons to get rid of Unions. It really does have nothing to do with money or rights. Unions are preying on the worst of human instincts to make their statement, for their own pockets. Dec. 12, 2012 at 12:41pmRather than waste time with a typical anti-union piece, it might be useful to provide a history of worker safety, employee benefits, holiday and vacation time that virtually all employees enjoy and where exactly they originated from. While you can object to some of their organizational prowess and tactics, how can you possible object to workers standing united in negotiating wages, benefits and general working conditions. It is a very democratic approach to what would otherwise be a very one sided transaction. One only do a little research on the working conditions and fair labor practices in the mid to late 1800′s to see why a balance in the transaction is necessary.

Dec. 12, 2012 at 1:16pmI know tent rentals. It takes about 6-8 people at the shop and at the site. It will cost about $500 for the company to setup and tear down an event. Maybe more. This one, at least 300. Being Mich they are probably Union, so call it $800 with payroll, taxes, insurance, transportation (union) then taxes on the Income. It’s not pretty. And the customer has to eat all of it in the end.

I know I am tired of being told that I am the problem when I get up every day and go to work and have more and more of my paycheck taken. We are seriously thinking of moving to Alaska as when it hits the fan, Alaska will be all but forgetten and far enough away they cannot get to it. It is not my fault some are lazy, made stupid decisions, and never took school seriously. Socialism should be renamed Jealousism. Because you have to be jealous of what someone else has to be a socialist. My wife and I are seriously considering dropping out when our last child graduates and working at Walmart. Why go through all the crap we go through just to have the government steal it and give it to someone who didn’t earn it.
