Man Absolutely Freaks Out in Coffee Shop Sending Patrons Fleeing — Do You Think It’s Real?

Video of a man apparently in the throes of a serious fit over his computer not working is gaining steam online.
In it, the man slumps over his seat at a coffee shop and starts banging on his laptop, asking if anyone else is experiencing problems. After a few moments he stands up and shouts at the screen, yelling “This can’t be right!” An employee comes over to settle him down, prompting him to apologize and promise to be quiet. He stands up again as patrons start to file out, slams the screen closed and declares the computer has everything in it — reports, addresses, pictures of his children, a letter from his mother and the novel he wrote when his wife was pregnant. Finally, he says, he has a presentation in 10 minutes.
More people leave, including the unseen videographer, and watch from outside as the man continues to scream and shout. Police arrive and quickly lead him into the back of a squad car.
“Am I going to jail? Because I got a presentation — ” he says as the door slams.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 1:17pmi dont know if it is real or not, but i did notice wussy American culture….”RUN AWAY” please…this has to stem from government regulating self defence, and the need for “experts to handle a situation”. Not saying a gun was was needed here, but if one had a gun, or even the frame of mind, that it is okay to protect myself they would not have fleed the scene, leaving the poor coffee bar employees in there alone.
I had a good friend choke to death in a restaurant on a piece of steak, everyone was too fearful to try to help….maybe they were thinking along the lines of “What if i mess up, i will get sued for sure…we need to wait for an expert.”

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 4:02pmB’B'Rev, you got it, the actions of the other patrons are appalling. Not one ball there. Maybe he should sue Star… The coffee shop for not having fast enough free WIFI. Or the other customers taking more than “their fair share”.
Whatever happened I’m sure it’s not HIS fault.

Posted on December 14, 2012 at 2:10amI think the whole thing is staged including the cops showing up. I’ve never seen a faster arrest in my life. It took about 15 seconds from the time the cops showed up until he was hauled away. Cops get witness statements. They didn’t even read him his rights, they just cuffed him and hauled him away in 15 to 20 seconds. I think the whole thing is staged. One thing that surprised me is the big guy with a beard. I though he would tell him to pipe down, but he took off with a swish in his walk, so I’m thinking he might not be so tough after all.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 6:02pmOf course this was staged! Do you really expect the “Trained Professional Police” to actually go in and arrest a person having a psychotic breakdown? A “real” officer would have just walked in with guns drawn and blew the guy away. Hey! It happens…he could have thrown his broken laptop at the cops and seriously injured them…………
This is called “sarcasm”. For you liberals, look it up…

Why can’t I read the Police Dept’s logo on the patrol car?
The police just come in and handcuff him and drive away. No statements taken or information taken from witnesses or store owner.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 11:40amIt appears that it was filmed at Gypsy Beans & Baking Company in Cleveland, based on the sign and phone number seen in the video around the 2:30 mark, for whatever that’s worth.

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 11:33amDid this guy have a ” Popeye Moment ” ( That’s all I can stand and I can’t stands no more ) or was he on a basketball team that lost 107 to 2 ? He was creating a disturbance so the cops restored peace and harmony by hauling this guy away. I’ll bet his computer would have probably worked when he arrived at his all important presentation. Maybe the WIFI at the coffee shop went haywire. What ever happened to self control – Hmmmm ?

Posted on December 13, 2012 at 11:31amEver since I had kids I’ve understood adults a lot better. I discovered that a lot of adult behavior is a lot like my 4 year old’s behavior.
When my 4 year old is done with his drink, he sets it down wherever he happens to be, just like the adult I saw once at a blockbuster video store – when he was done with his super-size jack n the box soda he just set it down on the shelf in front of him and continued to browse for a movie.
When my 4 year old is done eating a snack, he drops the wrappings on the ground, where ever he happens to be standing. Just like the woman who dropped her fast food wrappers and bags on the ground in a roller coaster line at knotts berry farm when she finished eating.
When a toy doesn’t work right, my 4 year old is prone to having fits over it and sometimes smashes and stomps on the toy. Just like the man in this video.
The sad truth is that a lot of adults in America have the mentality of a 4 year old. I teach my son to take the appropriate action with garbage and how to resolve problems with toys as they come up. But these children masquerading as adults have no one to teach them anymore.
When it comes to computers, always back up your data. It’s not a question of ‘if’ it is only a question of ‘when’ will your computer die for one reason or another.
