S.E. Cupp Breaks Down on Live TV While Discussing Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre

TheBlaze’s S.E. Cupp broke down emotionally during “The Cycle” on MSNBC Friday as she discussed the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. According to officials, 27 people were killed in the shooting, including as many as 20 children.

“Heartbreaking and horrifying for the 600 students inside Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. We now bring in Dr. Joshua Weiner,” Cupp said, her voice dripping with emotion. “Excuse me.”

“You can understand this is emotional for everyone,” she continued, her voice still cracking. “There are reports that children were told to cover their eyes as they fled past the school’s main office. How do you begin even discussing this with children as you can tell it’s hard for even adults to talk about.”

Dr. Weiner said parents should keep it “brief” and “simple” with children and answer whatever questions they have without going into graphic detail.

“When a kid is an elementary school age child you really want to make things very black and white for them and let them know that even though this tragedy occurred, they are very safe, their schools are safe and they will be OK,” he added.

To Joe.R. Piehole – God does not “allow” for people to be murdered. Revelations 21:8 states “But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” So you see the evil Satan made this happen. That murderer of children and people unknown to him had demons within him. He did not have God in his heart therefore the evil Satan consumed him.

  Piehole, God allows for our free will. We have the freedom to make good decissions, or bad ones. But, with EVERY decission there is a consequence or a “ripple affect”. Whether it be for good, or for evil. Sometimes, inspite of evil decissions people make, good can come of it. That is what I pray for, for something good to come out of this terrible evil.

  So for kids you want to keep things simple and black and white: and now in government grade schools we have “Heather’s two mommys” and “daddy’s roommate” being taught and pledging allegiance to the world and not the flag of the USA. Black and white. This shooting is tragic on so many levels, my heart just breaks for what the intellectuals who wanted to destroy a Judeo/Christian country from within have wrought. When I grew up we had prayer in schools and no massacres.
  But the godless left that wants to replace God with big government as Marx hated God and have twisted everything and society is coming apart just like they wanted…Destroy the family – replace with government

  Partly true. God does allow (not approve of) sins to be committed during this time of probation. The submission to demonic influence is clearly involved here. We know that “the judge of all the earth shall do right” at the judgement. That being said, the murdered children were clearly at an age where they were without the ability to choose to follw Jesus and repent of wilful sin, which means they did not lose their soul eternally, the only comforting thought in this whole wicked scene. The others, if they were not living a holy life at the time of their last breath, are most assuredly in torment, without any possibility of escape.

And if that term does not explain it for you – it means that all humans can make choices for themselves, and it also means that we must accept the consequences of those choices.

In this incident only the police were armed, like the liberals want to happen. Every school should have a trained, certified security personnel armed and ready at all times. At least, a gun available to the principle and a few trained teachers. What’s the point of entrusting strangers to take care of your children for six hours a day, five days a week, if they can’t protect them also?

We will be remembering today as a very nice wonderful day. What is about to happen in this country and around the world is beyond human decency, Satan wants to cause as much death as possible. They are now, and forever will be protected by him, they should be remembered as angels that they are now.

  I felt like S.E Cupp multiple times today at work.
  
  First I saw the story of the shooting
  
  Then at my work one of our members that called in said they were mourning the loss of their young son
  
  Then later in the day one of my coworkers had been at work early in the day but I hadn’t seen him for a few hours and when I asked where he went he texted back that he had a death in the family.

It is though free will that WE choose God, who we express though character traits, such as kindness, helpfulness and love etc. We express God by building a godly character, which is expressed by the fruits of our life’s. NOTHING stolen is ever ours, but things earned are.

Obama runs guns south of the border where drug cartels get them and KILL innocents, then his administration runs guns to Libyan “rebels” that turn out to be affiliated with al-Qaeda, and now his administration is gun running to so called Syrian rebels. Barack Obama is all for giving guns to terrorists, while he turns around and supports REMOVING guns from the law abiding American citizen.

Aside from that, the entertainment world promotes violence and brutally as it glamorizes blood-letting on TV and the Silver Screen.

This time of year, Jesus Christ is targeted by God haters, and what was one of the things Jesus told us to do? He told us to LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AND TO FORGIVE OUR ENEMIES. If people would abide by these words, we would not have these kinds of evil acts.

  And sometimes God allows great Evil to be committed by Man as a tool to educate the faithful about His Gift and teachings. Nobody knows the Mind of God nor what good He can bring from any Evil created by Man. Stopping all acts of sin and Evil wouldn’t make us a better society, it would make us a nation and planet of lifeless robots, going through the motions of living and never experiencing LIFE.
  
  How can you know light unless you know darkness?
  How can you know joy unless you know sadness?
  How can you know love unless you know anger and hatred?
  How can you have courage and be brave unless you have experienced fear?
  
  As any parent knows, sometimes you just have to let the child touch the hot pot before they will learn that fire will burn. Sometimes you have to let them crash their bike before they understand it must be maintained and they must ride in a safe manner. Sometimes you have to let them lose, be beaten, fall and get up before they can understand the thrill of victory and how to be a gracious winner.

These events under score what happens when deranged people think about the chaos they can cause if they could only attack defenseless people with out guns? It’s not hard to teach five year olds that they do not have to be afraid of guns, that guns prevent much more loss of life than all tragedies combined, this common sense has carried us through the centuries, and will continue to do so.

One of the major contributing factors to these kinds of gun violence, is not the guns, but the media coverage of the personal lives of those who commit the crimes, who is calling for censorship of the media? Well, if media attention inspires gun violence, why should the media not be controlled?

I find it unacceptable that anyone, and I mean anyone (I will be respectful enough not to mention names, they know who they are) should advance gun control measures when we should be comforting children that guns protect many more people then they harm, and that is why people have to own and carry them, because there are bad people out there, as we saw today?

Reason? Rumor has it the person had a grudge against someone who loved to teach kids? What better way to hurt that person, then attack the things they loved? In Israel, teachers are required to be armed? What do you think happens when car bombs go off, open areas become slaughter houses, and it is disgusting, this situation is just like a car bomb going off, our veterans see this often?

  not necessarily…we still don’t know how he got on campus…we know his mother is a teacher there…is she one of the adults dead? are all the children from her class? my money is on Yes….
  that is why he was buzzed into the school…they knew him…
  once inside he put on the mask and started shooting…the principal and school psychologist first apparently…since they were reportedly in their offices and not running to clear the school or lock it down…
  most of the adult deaths were probably in the office and even if the school was on lock down, he knew where to go and had already taken care of who could stop him…
  
  having a gun or not might have saved the children but if he was buzzed in and pulled out the AR-15 from behind him and started shooting…the office staff didn’t stand a chance….at best the deaths could have been minimized…
  
  as a teacher…if I was allowed to carry on campus…I would lock my doors and keep my class safe not try to run out into the fray and at the shooting…my first responsibility is to my immediate class..
  
  then again…being in high school…carrying can be scary especially for a smaller female…if a student gets aggressive and manages to take the gun away….
  
  once students knew staff could carry, getting a gun on campus simply means gaining their trust and then stealing the weapon…
  
  most high schools have 1 or 2 armed police on campus that act as enforcement

Praying for the families and teachers….praying for the lives lost and destroyed….praying for the wisdom and discernment of our leaders as the gun grab rhetoric is shouted from across the skies. A similar tragedy occurred in China today, 20+ children at an elementary school attacked by a nut with a knife.

This shooting is yet another tragic example of the failed, grotesque insistence on helpless victim zones where any crazed gunman can be assured of a large number of disarmed, undefended, helpless victims, all crammed into one place, where he can kill many children before an armed defender arrives from elsewhere. It is disturbing and sick that the federal government so hates the right of the American people to bear arms, and so hates their natural right to self defense, that the government insists on making them helpless, disarmed victims for anyone who cares to kill them. And in this case, all of the teachers and staff were willfully disarmed by the Federal Government, by force of law and threat of prison, to ensure that they would be disarmed and incapable of saving the lives of the children entrusted to their care.

That makes the Federal Government complicit in the deaths of these children, and in fact an accessory to their mass murder, by forcibly disarming (with the very real threat of prison) all the teachers, all the staff, and any parent who may have been on school property. That stupid law guaranteed the shooters would meet no immediate armed resistance, which is exactly what is needed to stop such an attack.

In such a shooting (as in every criminal attack), seconds count, and the people best positioned to stop the attack are the people on the scene – the intended victims and/or their care-takers. In this case, that would mean the teachers and sta

Ask yourself why these mass shootings have become so commonplace in the last twenty years and it’s not because of guns. The blame lies with the godless leftist sick liberal society we have become that celebrates pornography, violent video games and movies, abortion on demand, drugs, sodomy and a breakdown of morals and family values.   Increasing gun control? This crime was committed in a State that has one of the most draconian set of gun control laws. This crime was committed in a gun-free-zone. Why is it that Chicago, DC, and NYC–which have the most restrictive gun-control laws–have the highest gun-crime rates, and that the States that support gun ownership and concealed carry have the lowest gun-crime rates?
  
  Criminals are not going to care about gun control. They will get guns to perpetrate their crimes. And no gun-control laws will stymie them. You’re only chipping away at the God-given right of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves. I think you need to move beyond sophomoric thinking.

  a professor of mine in History of Education, a PhD in History and Theology, received his PhD by doing a study on the removal of God from society starting in the late 1950′s and early 1960′s and the rise in teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse, teen gangland style violence, and lack of personal responsibility and respect.
  his dissertation sought to prove and the evidence seemed to back him up, that there was a direct cause and effect relationship between the secularization of society and the mentioned behaviors. Now I am sure that every liberal jack- monkey out there would slam his research and conclusions as just coming from a right wing evangelical (he taught at a Methodist college to me but was a guest professor from Fuller Seminary) but he used not just the last 50 years….1950-2000…but the fifty before that as well…1900-1950….
  
  Statistics might be able to tell you whatever you like but when the conclusions drawn equal the empirical evidence apparent on the news every day…that has to be more than a coincidence present.
  
  This is back in 2001 and we are now 11 years further down the road to social engineered society and Socialism…and history also bares out that the conversion of any form of government to a socialistic one ALWAYS comes with violence…
