Tearful Obama Says ‘We’ve Endured Too Many of These Tragedies,’ Promises ‘Meaningful Action’

President Barack Obama wiped away tears Friday as he spoke about the mass elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn.
“We’ve endured too many of these tragedies in the past few years. And each time I learn the news, I react not as a president but as anybody else would, as a parent. And that was especially true today” Obama said. “The majority of those who died today were children, beautiful little kids between the ages of five and 10 years old. They had their entire lives ahead of them — birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own…our hearts are broken today.”
Obama said that “as a country, we have been through this too many times, whether it’s an elementary school in Newton, or a shopping mall in Oregon, or a temple in Wisconsin or a movie theater in Aurora or a street corner in Chicago.”
“These neighborhoods are our neighborhoods and these children are our children,” he said. “We’re going to have come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics.”

These children were killed because of an overly tolerant society where personal responsibility has been removed. If you’re fat, it’s not your fault, it’s McDonald’s fault, or it’s Coke’s fault. If you do poorly in school, it’s the school’s fault, teacher’s fault, or society’s fault for not funding. If you play in a game, you get a trophy whether you win or lose.
These kids have been taught that everybody is the same, and that there are no losers, when reality tells a different story. These kids have been lied to. When they leave the confines of schools, pushing these lies, they can not cope. They have no hope. They become angry. They strike out. It’s no accident that many of these killers are young.

We are a country of 350 million, stuff happens every day, people get killed in car wrecks, stabbings, stranglings, bludgeoning, fall off roofs, by subway cars, drownings, hypothermia, heat stroke, suicides, drug overdoses, carbon dioxide poisonings, chemical poisonings, gas explosions, banjo beatings, broken beer bottles, and much more. My prayers also go out to all those that have met their deaths by these means.
But please libs, don’t blame guns. Guns don’t kill, people do. Look at other parts of the globe, sucide & car bombs kill 40 to 50 a pop by lunatics in those nations.
Barry the fraudulent one will exploit this to try to blame the 2nd amendment and our guns. All he wants is to disarm all of us so that him and his globalist banker asswpes can impose their will on we the people.
I heard this morning that some of the Obama lemmings were heard as sayin something similar to WOWJUSTWOW, “take the law abiding gun owners guns so we can take what they have.”

I do find fault with Presidents, sense Reagan, feeling the need to comment or appear at the scene of every tragic incident. The President’s comments or appearances rarely help or add to the solution. I assume our Presidents are humans are feel badly for the victims of killers, hurricanes etc etc…I don’t think our Presidents should fill in as funeral directors or counselors… a press release the the appropriate agency head statement is fine…otherwise the local’s should handle it with whatever help they request…period. I know, I’m getting old…I’ve just heard the same statements over and over for decades, I can almost predict word for word what the statement will be…I don’t question our President’s reaction, just hid need to let us know.

My wife taught for 33 years and she was warned by a lawyer one time that if she didn’t give his girl anything but an A he would sue. My wife told him to go ahead because she didn’t give grades but put down what they earned. Most of the teachers are radical leftest librels and these kids probably have never heard the word God used in anything but cussing and have never been to church. If they are taught the right between right or wrong it was a church.

I changed the channel when he came on. He voice and presence is pure evil to me. I knew he’d be wiping away contrived tears. If the school had been in the inner city of Chicago or Philly he would have dropped everything and broken into all the networks with no prepared speech and blamed gun owners within minutes of hearing about it. We live in a Godless society where antidepressants and ADD drugs are taken like candy and this is the generation of 20 years olds who are coming of age without faith in anything. The innocent babies taken from their parents today is and will always be deemed as evil and senseless. 2012 is one of the worst years for America thus far. God Bless their little innocent souls and all those taken by this souless man.

Jokingly I say he cut onions before his “statement” but I’m sure there is some well-developed eye-drop that are given for just these cases. These are mostly white kids from the kind of well-off neighborhood that he loathes. I’m actually a bit shocked that he went to the trouble as he no longer has to worry about re-election but nothing that comes from him with any hint of compassion is sincere. He has none.

But why is it when he supposedly tears up, he wipes the outside corner of his eyes. The tear ducts are on the inside and I thought tears always roll out on that side. This is NOT THE TIME to criticize and attack our President. Although I’m a Conservative who is extremely concerned for the future of our beloved country, I’m not one to denegrate our President. I have too much respect for his Office. Mr. Obama is reacting to this horrific tragedy as a human being! He’s a devoted family man and loving father of 2 young girls, after all.
This is a time for us all to unite as a country – to concentrate on praying for the innocent victims and their devastated families; as well as for the psychological healing of all the survivors, police and medical personnel involved. We should all give thanks that we aren’t counted among them.

That’s why Ed Schultz and the MSNBC/CNN dorks make statements denigrating the founders, like “They were intolerant, bigots, ” and such. They’re destroying this society under a theory known as critical theory that seeks to totally deconstruct the nation through criticization of everything that has been taught to be inviolable and sacred, until it is demonized to the point where what was thought of as good and proper is gradually changed en masse to that which is evil and corrupt.
It’s the same process used when they hysterically scream “racist” or “racism” in response to complaints about black crime and violence until they fool people into believing that making legitimate complaints any such thing is evil and wrong if it involves race in any way, no matter if the incident is abject torture and murder….which is just the oppposite of truth and reality…just like their movies where most of them depict exactly the opposite of reality.

So, if you want to eliminate 350M guns then you need to remove automobiles, smokes, cheeseburgers, etc. In fact, you should START with some of those other issues before you get to guns…if you are serious about prioritization.

Granted you will have to really search for that information because those countries do all they can to hide those stories, after all they can’t let people know that their laws don’t work but you will see that they still have gun violence and a rather high rate of it at that. If you outlaw guns then the only people will have them will be criminals and the government (aka wanna be slave masters). However, I have a feeling both of you think that was just a ploy and that now he’ll come sweeping in and take away all your rights when you aren’t looking. There were several people bringing back their rentals and we were all made to get on the floor face down. I was the only woman there. The way it played out, i thank God there wasn’t an armed person among us on the floor…that probably would have changed the outcome and not for the better. And discussion starts there. If people feel that this ought not be any longer then the Constitution outlines a process to amend itself. Until that amendment is in place, I don’t really have much else to offer.
