Heart-Wrenching Photos of the Child Victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting

They were 6 and 7 years old. Some were recently missing front teeth; all had big smiles. TheBlaze has compiled photos of the very youngest whose lives were cut short in the shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary.

Guns will never go away, mental illness will never go away. Our society is not healthy right now and I think we have a whole new mental illness on our hands where homicidal thoughts are being carried out on a grander scale. Maybe because of wanting to be famous, violence on TV, violence in music, I don’t know! But the ROOT of the problem is not guns people!

      You’re right Cook,

They never address the underlying issue that causes these things to happen. I don’t know that they ever will. I can’t blame guns. I’ve owned them all my life, I’m a first responder and the guys that show up to the calls with me all have guns. They would never do things like this. Neither would I. There’s something much, much deeper than that which causes these evil individuals to do the things they do. I don’t know if they will ever address the real problem, but I keep hoping.

Give it a rest, Trollmonger. Nobody is buying the BS. People like you teach that there is no ultimate judge of our actions. You can’t discipline your child without having the CPS called on you. Hollywood glorifies violence. Video games desensitize them to it, all in the name of profit. Now people like you want to blame a piece of metal and wood for the evil these school shooters inflict? Come on.

Just read the mass murders are not going up.. Matter of fact, they, like global warming, have gone down since the 1990′s. Unfortunately the media hype has gone up–sensationalizing for ratings I suppose. The largest decade for mass murder was in the 1960s. It was down under Reagen, up under Clinton, down under Bush and who knows under Obama? Seems like when we have a righteous leader, mass murder/evil is suppressed and under a less then righteous leader evil triumphs. So which one will Obama be.

God has nothing to do with evil, period. Satan is the author of death, which God calls the Enemy of our souls. However, those innocents who have had their precious lives brutally taken from them are with the Heavenly Father. We are living in the days of evil as the bible describes and the soon return of our Savior and the end of the age. I have lived long enough to see how the people desire sin over righteousness, and God does not force Himself on the world or the inhabitant’s. Those who live, will look back at this time as desired over what horror’s they will see.

Until we fix the neglect, abuse and dysfunction of the family, no amount of gun control will ever be enough to stop this. However crime and guns can become obsolete if we put our families first and yes, God too.

My parents lost two of their sons, one of my brothers who was a neonate who had sepsis and another of my brothers who was killed in a freak accident a few years ago. The suffering a parent does when their child dies before them lasts the rest of the parent’s lives- my parents have never been the same since my second brother’s feak accident. A child dying before a parent is the most unimaginable suffering for any mommy or daddy….and also forever devastating for the siblings of the lost child. Absolutely nothing can bring them back. My heart is broken for the mothers, fathers & families of these beautiful babies and the school staff who sacrificed their lives for their beloved students. To see their faces makes it all the more real. God bless our nation. Pray that God intervenes and turns around the moral decline in our country, let’s hope this is a wakeup call to those who’s agenda is a superficial, Godless, free for all Morality one.

The number of teenagers who have died in automobile crashes makes this list look a one word paragraph. Ban cars for anyone under 25. Ban cell phones in cars by teenagers, ban anyone driving as a teenager with more than one other occupant in the car………………and the list goes on and on. Then we can start on knives, fists, Louisville Sluggers, etc. Stop producing video games, all movies, bad parents, alcohol, drugs and on and on.

What is your point? Evil people have been killing innocents since the dawn of man. It is not the weapon used it is the evil individual using it. The killer could have used a baseball bat, knife, scissors, etc and created the same carnage.

By the way, where are your comments about your dear leader using drones across the globe that are killing innocent children. Or where are your comments about the killing of innocent unborn children? More children were lost on Friday by abortion than by any other act of violence combined.

The little angel’s photographs are heart wrenching. The beautiful eyes and smiles and innocence. Please, parents don’t trust your precious children in the care of others, especially these cold, calculating institutions. With home computers and all the help there is for homeschooling why do both parents have to work? Someone should be home raising the children and loving them every minute of the day. If you can, it’s so rewarding and everyone grows better for the family.

Oh my god, all this god wanted the children home. Your kidding? I am so sick of all this: I don’t have an answer so I will say it’s all gods will, CRAP. These poor kids died because of some nut job and some nut jobs mom that didn’t get him help he needed.

Our system of checks and balances failed on this one. So god wanted all the Jews home during WWII and where was god when all the young catholic boys were molested by so called men of god. Why didn’t god stop this from the start? Oh god doesn’t do that; some one I am sure will say. Well then what the hell does he do?

When some one does not have answers they turn to a make believe being. Those kids are gone because god didn’t want them home, our system failed. A man that should have been in a padded room was allowed to walk on the streets.

It is simplestic for others to say “God called these children home”, I agree with you, however the principle that remains in this sentiment is that “all things work towards God’s greater good”. In other words something positive will eventually come from this terrible event. I am mad that this happened to these kids too. I share your fraustration as well.

Contrary – this (Earth) is not our home, my friend. Those children are back home with their Creator – taken from this temporary place we call home.

And if you read God’s Word, you’ll began to understand that it is you/me/us that are causing these things to happen. It’s not about gun control or drugs or whatever – those are the method in which these things happen BUT – the Bible tells us over and over about nations who suffer from God’s wrath due to the people turning from God and His laws for us. Our nation is about as wicked and evil as they come – and instead of turning TO God for healing and forgiveness, we turn against Him. As long as we humans stay puffed up with pride, vanity, arrogance, greed, sexual immortality, etc … we can look forward to more of this very same scenario.

We all need to pat ourselves on our backs for the evil that is around us – because we are causing it.

The actual answer is found clearly spelled out in the Bible, and has absolutely NOTHING to do with God “wanting anyone home ” or “needing another angel ” or any other such silliness some of my well-meaning Christian brothers & sisters say at times like these. It is quite simple. Freedom is very important to God. Love is THE most important thing to Him. Since you cannot have real love without freedom, it was essential to give man total freedom. Unfortunately, since man is sinful by his very nature, he will inevitably use his freedom unwisely at times. Even use it for great evil at times. To God, removing freedom was not an option to remedy this fact. Sacrificing the existance of true love was too costly. Forgiveness and redemption through Jesus Christ was His solution. Giving man the ability to choose to accept that free gift, and thereby being indwelt by the Holy Spirit to guide them through a
life of having their minds & hearts changed to be more & more like His- was His remedy for evil. He never promises a life on earth with an absence of evil caused by man’s free will. Not until after the second appearance of Christ. In fact, He warns that those who reject Him will only increase in
wickedness as the time for Christ’s return draws nearer and nearer. I realizethese truths are not comforting. Still, they are truth, none the less. Pray for these families. He does promise to care for and comfort those who mourn, with a peace that surpasses all human understanding.

LQTM: PROCESS THIS: I would hope that I’d have been in the pack of angry Parents who would have made sure this creep didn’t live another day. GOOD thing he killed himself and his mother who was so stupid that she had 3 available guns knowing that this empty, evil shell of a human was able to get to them. PROCESS? POUND SAND. Posters like you make me want to throw up my hands.
THIS WAS PURE EVIL DUDE. Until and unless we say : HELL NO ! to EVIL like this, until we take action and DEMAND that GOD be welcomed back into our Schools, then nothing will change. THE PROCESS is that any evil monster who would shoot an innocent child up close and multiple times does not deserve another breath; does not deserve any justification or explanation…he was EVIL period. ALL YOU ACCOMPLISH with your pansy-a. statement is to create more anger. GO watch football or something.

I lost a student once whose death ripped my heart apart and caused me to fly into the face of GOD. It took me a long time to understand that HE loved/loves that student more than I ever could and that HE, GOD, wanted that child of HIS HOME WITH HIM “now”. It was the only way I could handle that young teen’s death and our loss here on earth of his presence and the joy of having him with us.

I cannot imagine the anguish, horror or pain the parents of these beautiful children.

DEAR GOD, I pray YOUR comforting presence with each one of them individually and together as families. Oh, LORD, YOU know the very same pain of having YOUR INNOCENT CHILD ripped from YOUR hands and nailed to a cross. YOU KNOW THE PAIN, the horror and the anguish, GOD. Forgive us when we forget that about YOU. In YOUR SON’S NAME, JESUS THE CHRIST, we do pray. Amen

Pray they will listen to God’s urgings to them to love, not bate. To forgive for their own good, and to work to bring good out of this evil.

Sometimes you can’t start the healing process until you can put a face to those who were cut down at such a young age. America and the world are grieving with the friends and families of Newtown, CT. We will never know what was going in this mans mind, but can only guess chaos and perhaps delusions.

God Bless these children and we can only hope none suffered with their wounds before expiration.

“Gun-free zone” is a euphemism for “defense-free zone”. Liberals have partially disarmed America, and then when the inevitable happens, they double down on their stupidity and demand more people be made defenseless.

It’s a dangerous world–the liberal solution is to become defenseless?!

I think the most debilitating thing about brainwashed liberalism is that they are incapable of learning from their mistakes. They cannot comprehend their own failures. After they fail, they blame others (saboteurs) then they try harder, and when that fails even worse, the cycle starts over. The only thing they learn is how best to blame/attack freethinking people who disagree with them.

There is no word in the English language to describe Parents who have lost a child. It is as if society is afraid to label this type of grief. How can a supposedly loving God allow this type of thing to happen the atheists will demand?

Why does God allow us to suffer? If a bad person suffers, we as humans find some justice in this… but an innocent child? In all these questions we must look to the cross and the resurrection. Jesus did not deserve to be crucified. He’d done nothing wrong. So I guess it would be true to say that the crucifixion was ‘unfair’! But he understood that God had a plan. His suffering brought about our redemption. There was a greater purpose that wasn’t understood until after the resurrection. As is it is for our suffering in this life… we don’t know why we have to suffer most of the time. It does seem desperately unfair. And we will only know the answers once we reach our eternal life in Heaven. All we can be assured of is that our life, suffering and death are things that are passing. Our life here on earth is only temporary… death is not the end. Through Jesus’ resurrection we have been assured of eternal life after death.

The reality is that even with Jesus’ cross and resurrection, losing a child seems to make very little sense. But without Jesus’ cross and resurrection, it makes no sense at all.

Here is someone that had the right answer

Training and vetting the candidates – After each scene of unnatural, inhuman experience you have to sit back and remind yourself that what you just experienced is not normal. Every cop handles it differently, I just tried to keep that dark hole as far away from my daily life and thank the Lord for keeping my heart and head cleansed.

“You are the every “unsung heroes†of our world.”
Naw… For whatever reason most of us that wore/wear a bag and a sidearm… It is still a job.
Now homocide-dicks… Those guys, I’ll never understand how they live day in and day out around it.
Their goncha’s have to be bigger for dealing with the crime scene. At least I was uniform…

But that’s off track… This town has 28,398 population (2010)… That means, for the most part, and for all practical reasons, everybody knew everybody. That has to have been a heart wrenching scene for those of the law and fire dept’s. It may not have been your kid but you know their family and probably quite well…

I stand and salute all that have and will be assisting these families.

Watch the movie on Starz this month called… “COURAGEOUS”.

IDIOT! It was another one of your liberal “gun free” zones that made a perfect place for a massacre. If the teachers are trusted enough to be a guardian for the children all day long, then they should be trusted enough to be carrying weapons to actually be able to guard them. That psycho should have been shot as soon as he stepped foot onto campus with that arsenal. That would have saved a lot of lives, just like it would have at Columbine & Virginia Tech. The movie patrons in Aurora should have been carrying also. Screw the pansy left wing “no gun” signs on the theater. Don’t forget Ft. Hood. Our own military should be able to carry on the base. Their blood is on YOUR hands. Gun free zones and heavy second amendment restrictions. You glorify murder and death in video games, movies and TV. Every single mass murder has happened in a gun free zone. Law abiding citizens were disarmed by YOU and forbidden the opportunity to defend their own life and the lives of those around them. This one hit to close to home. One of the victims was a friend of my wife’s. To make it worse, my youngest daughter, Vickie has her masters in teaching.
