After School Shooting, Anti-Gun Advocates Want NRA President, Members to Be Shot

Following the horrific act of violence that occurred in Newtown, Conn. on Friday, some anti-gun advocates are calling for NRA president David Keene and all other members of the NRA to be shot. To be clear, these people are calling for violence to solve what they think is the cause of many acts of violence — guns.

As Twitchy points out, “@BayAreaHouston is not just any random Twitter user. He is John Cobarruvias, a Democratic Party precinct chair in Houston, according to Houston blog Big Jolly Politics. (Update: He is also member of the State Democratic Executive committee.)”

The obvious point here is, violence can never be solved with more violence.

On Friday, shooter Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother before driving to Sandy Hook Elementary and killing 20 children and six adults before taking his own life.

The NRA has been quiet in the aftermath of Friday’s elementary school shooting, shutting down their Facebook page and not registering any posts on Twitter since Friday morning, CBS Washington reports.

The gun rights group has still received criticism for its silence following the shooting. However, if the NRA spoke out in favor of guns so close to the shooting, they would surely be ridiculed by those same critics for “politicizing” a tragedy. So while it seems like a lose-lose situation for them, the NRA is sticking with respectful silence for now.

Are you aware that Nick Meli has a concealed weapons permit and pulled his gun on the Oregon shooter? Why isn’t the news reporting that a citizen with a gun pulled his weapon and took aim at the Oregon shooter who than ran and killed himself. Perhaps they don’t want you to know that an armed citizen assisted with stopping the amount of damage this man did. The Blaze needs to do some research. I just heard about it this morning.

I’m an NRA life member. I am also a competitive target shooter holding expert rankings in small bore rifle, high power rifle, distinguished expert ranking in gallery, three gun and conventional pistol. I also shoot ISPC matches and am a certified range safety officer. I can reliably hit a man sized target at 600 yards. And they are going to send some fool who can barely load his piece after me? I could out shoot them weak handed. Just who do they think NRA members are?

None of these num nuts have been a member of NRA, I bet most if not all of these shooter think the same way the lefties do. NRA and its members are responsible gun owners, we don’t have bunch of mentaly ill people in our group, but I can’t say that for lefties and Obamzombies. Trolls need to quiet it don’t, because they don’t even understand the Constitution. Also there are over 3’000 babies killed everyday and MSM are quiet in that subject. Not all those women were rapped or their lives are threatened by the pregnancies.

Did anyone else notice the professionally printed picket signs the crowd has in the pic on the front page for this story? Seems like the rent-a-mob was ready and waiting for the right tragedy to happen to protest the NRA.

As a NRA member I have never heard anyone from the NRA or any other Gun Owners Organization advocate violence. They teach safety and responsibility, but now we have these nuts saying shoot people. This just proves that people who want to take away your rights feel it’s OK if they call for killimgs. Who is the dangerous group here?

  And, why did the shooter stop shooting and turn the gun on himself when he heard the sirens approaching? Because he knew they were comming with GUNS. Coward picked a “NO GUN” zone where he knew he would be unchallenged. We should do what Switzerland does: Arm and train everybody.
