Last Class Photo of Sandy Hook First Graders Is Heart-Wrenching
ABC’s Katie Couric recently displayed the last school photo of the first grade class at Sandy Hook Elementary, where a crazed gunman killed nearly everyone in the room last Friday.
It is heartbreaking.
After the original photo, the now well-known images of the students are superimposed next to the faces, attaching a recognized face and story to each student.
Here is the photo:

And here is the version with the more recognized pictures superimposed:

Emilie Parker– whose father gave an incredibly moving memorial for his daughter over the weekend– was home sick that day, her father told the Daily Mail.

Nearly everyone in the picture has been identified, the Daily Mail added, except for the girl in the black shirt in the middle of the photo.
Prior reports indicate that, in the classroom where nearly everyone was killed, one little girl survived by playing dead. The girl’s pastor related the story, but did not reveal her identity.
The class’s teacher, 30-year-old Lauren Rousseau, was also killed. She had worked as a substitute teacher for years before being accepted full-time at Sandy Hook. Her mother said it was the “best year of her life.”

Anyway, this is a song Spoon fans will recognize. It’s the original version by the “Natural History” before Spoon covered it.
The drummer in this song is Derek Vockins, a friend of mine from grade school, and Newtown High graduate.

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 7:10amWhat’s really heart-wrenching is how the TV media won’t leave those poor people alone to let them grieve. Before those ghouls are finished, we’ll know how many times a day the monster went to the toilet, but never know the Truth about what really motivated THEM, and I mean both him and his mommy. I think she was a teacher wannabe, who at first hung onto the deviate for child support purposes. When she saw her murderous little puppet, she exacted her revenge on the school. It blew up in her face when he killed her too. (Oh, less-than-Divine-symmetry.)

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 7:26amI believe that the mother is the most to blame for what happened. If she truly was contemplating putting him away, how in the world could she be so foolish as to leave the weapons where he could get at them? It does not make sense.

We can’t presume to know how, or if, the guns were secured.
Maybe he found the hidden key, or where the combo was written.
Also, so far, the story about her committing him is only a fourth-hand rumor.
Everything i’ve read, that’s a 1st-hand testimony, indicates that this woman fought tirelessly to find solutions to her son’s problems….
There’s no indication he’d ever shown violent tendencies in the past.
I prefer to wait for more information before condemning Nancy Lanza, and projecting Adams crimes & sins onto her.
BTW- no blame for the Dad? He lived a 1/2 hr away with his new wife & supposedly had joint custody. He also had a “big deal” position with GE, as well as being on several university payrolls.
You think some of his time could maybe have been better spent on Adam’s welfare?

You are a pretty hateful person to draw all of those conclusions based on nothing but negative rumors & speculation, while clearly ignoring all of the positive testimony about this woman.

Truthspeare, Copyright, Sometimes, December 2012
When Jesus words so spoke
Crowds sought to invoke
Gangs drew around
Gathered for his sound
Now see his birth Christmas light
Red, green, blue and white
We need only sight
No wrong
Only right
Now we have Newtown
No up
Only down
Questions linger aroun’
Just fly Newtown angels
Fly our way
And all of the refrigerator art
And all of the dancing in carts
And all of the child games
And all of the nicknames
And all of the nursery tunes
And all of the Saturday cartoons
And all of the afternoon play
And all of the cool stuff delay
We miss you today
But live with the hope someday
Again we hug in that special way
The same as that other day
And once again the world so right you see
And together again you and me
And in Jesus we find your worth
Your colorful life reflected in his words and birth

Posted on December 18, 2012 at 9:30pmRemember the movie Hunger games? This movie is about children getting killed in a futuristic world. The author of Hunger Games lives in SANDY HOOK.
Aurora, the temple shooting and Sandy hook all had CCTV surveillance and the footage is inexplicably unavailable. In other words the confirmation of exactly what happened is missing without explanation three times in a row. In all cases second shooters are reported and then whitewashed out of the media narrative three times in a row.

Posted on December 18, 2012 at 9:17pmThis was posted by “Zeb” earlier today and IMHO also belongs on this story.
Please forgive me Zeb….
twas’ 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven’s gate.
their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
they were filled with such joy, they didn’t know what to say.
they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
“where are we?” asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
“this is heaven.” declared a small boy. “we’re spending Christmas at God’s house.”
when what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus’ face.
and as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, “I’ll take care of mom and dad.”

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 12:43amThe one that I have seen passed around had this in addition to the rest………
“Then He looked down on earth, the world below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe,
He closed His eyes and outstretched His hand,
“Let My power and presence re-enter this land!
“May this country be delivered from the hands of fools”
“I’m taking back My nation. I’m taking back My schools!
“Then He and the children stood without a sound.
“Come My children let Me show you around.
“Excitement filled the air, some skipped and some ran.
Displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
And I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
“in the midst of this darkness,” I AM STILL THE LIGHT.”

Posted on December 18, 2012 at 9:04pmHard to imagine so many in one class.
This has to be the worst school mass killings known……………..
On May 18, 1927, 45 people, mostly children, were killed and 58 were injured when disgruntled and demented school board member Andrew Kehoe dynamited the new school building in Bath, Michigan out of revenge over his foreclosed farm due in part to the taxes required to pay for the new school.

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 12:12pmNot everyone died in the schoolhouse explosion in which only one of the two bombs set went off. The bomber had already killed his wife and blew up his his farm before driving his truck, filled with dynamite and iron shrapnel to the site of the explosion. He called over the school superintendent to ask what was going on. As that individual approached, he set off the truck bomb, killing himself, the superintendent, and at least one student who survived the school bomb.

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 3:14amYes, I agree with you. I think it is very possible for the girl in the middle to be Noah’s twin sister. It has been reported that she was in another class, but this still could be her in the picture. It has been reported that 16 first graders were in the first classroom hiding in a bathroom. He did not harm anyone in that room and shot into the next two rooms. I’m guessing the sister was in that first room. Five were killed in Ms. Soto’s class, according to reports. I pray Noah’s sister was not in that class. Losing a twin brother at age six is unimaginable. I just hope she didn’t witness any of the massacre. Prayers to the families. I can’t stop thinking about them, and I pray for them constantly.

Posted on December 18, 2012 at 8:39pmThis is extremely sad. I can’t understand the EVIL that is the world that would do this kind of thing, but I know that it exists and the we must always be prepared for when it does to stomp it out. We as Americans must prepare for battle against this kind of EVIL. It must not win.

Posted on December 20, 2012 at 1:50pmIt’s time for the media and politicians to STOP looking for ways to protect criminals and criminal behavior as well as misfits, malcontents, and the intolerant. Most of all, they have to END their partisan reactionism to everything while at the same time covering up the scandals and intolerable behavior to save their own misguided and yes, evil, agenda. Funny how they can destroy the character of someone like Romney with their lies and promotion of social issues which most of the country finds offensive. There is no moral compass here for any of these people, not the media, not the politicians. They’d rather protect the rights of feminazis who demand murder on demand, or force all of us to sink to their level of offensive behavior or ignore our religious beliefs. And when of their own (mentally unstable murderer) kills 27 people, their reaction is to take away guns from all the law abiding citizens in the country, striking another rip in our Constitution, tearing away yet another one of our rights!
Bottom line is moral compass, and where does one find that? Certainly not without God. One cannot distinguish between good and evil, right and wrong, if God and morality have been stripped from the progressive left’s consciousness. There will be no solution, no solace, as long as we are being restricted by Evil’s Hand, stuck in the mire of this godless jungle, being forced by the left to tolerate evil and cast God off.
