President Obama Cites Sandy Hook Massacre to Encourage ‘Fiscal Cliff’ Compromise
President Barack Obama on Wednesday urged Republican opponents to compromise with him on a budget agreement, arguing that the American people deserve as much after recent hardship.
“After what we’ve gone through over the past several months, a devastating hurricane and now one of the worse tragedies in our memory, the country deserves folks to be willing to compromise for the greater good,” the president said:

You’re sitting on a park bench enjoying the afternoon sun. Some guy comes along and sits down alongside you. After a few minutes he says, “Hey! I’m bored. Let’s go kill 10 people!” You’re shocked and say that you don’t want to kill ANYBODY! He replies, “let’s compromise and just kill 5 people!” To which you reply, “NO! I’m not killing ANYBODY!” He gets up and as he’s wandering off says, “Damned extremists! Never want to compromise!”
Sometimes, compromise is just wrong.

Another natural disaster, terrorist attack, or maybe the Chinese wise up that we’re going to have problems paying those bonds they are holding and stop buying them. The ChiComs don’t have to sell the ones they have, just quit buying our new debt, … then we’re headed for the rocks at flank speed.

Beside listening to Glenn Beck listen to Bob Brinker on at 3PM to 6PM Saturday & Sunday. Honestly, I think he is cheerleading a little bit. No where near as shamelessly as Cramer. He is pulling his punches. He is disgusted with Obama, but he does not have kind words for the Republicans I think.
Also listen to Hugh Hewitt.
We have a lot of debt. It might takes us 2 decades to get out of it It will take a fair tax system with a flat tax. It will take someone like Ronald Reagan saying things like “Morning in America” rather than the Demonizer in Chief. ( With a flat tax the wealthy will still pay more than anyone else. But liberals want to make people pay way more & give them a bloody nose just to feel good.)
Our credit might get downgraded 1 more time.

More & more business people are getting tired of Obama . Even ones that bundled for him twice. the ones in California are absolutely going to get raped. After their wake up call Obama’s & the Democrats support is going to fade.
I think Boehner should call Obsma’s bluff.
Obama opened at 250K
Boehner opened at 1 mil
Obama countered at 400K up 150 toward the middle
Boehner should counter at 850K (down 150)
Why that puts the ball in Obama’s court.
He should do it as close to the end of the week as possible. It is the 19th . He needs to make Obama sweat. To break him like Cutter was broken in Mad Max.
If Obama counter s fin. Boehner counter with 750K & asks for more

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 5:30pmEven Government Sachs does not want the economy to collapse. They might be riding a tiger they can’t control, but they don’t want a collapse. A mansion or penthouse in a the densely populated northeast corridor is not the place to be if the government collapses.
What would they pay security with? Dollars? At that point cops or private security would have more authority & resources than them.
If the dollar collapses a major portion of the wealth go Government Sachs honchos also goes up in smoke, from deposits to land. If it collapses what does it matter if you HAD 3 homes in 3 different states. There might be squatter or other hostile people or local elites that just take it.
As Rush has point out there are a lot of ObamaCare taxes that will hit regardless of any compromise. It will be a drag on the economy, which will not do well. After about March, Obama will be a very lame duck. A democrat liability really.
Obama & the media are trying to make hay out of the Fiscal Cliff & Sandyhook. After that what have they got.
If Assad does not fall before November 7, 2014 (or is not seen to fall in the foreseeable future) Obama’s foreign policy predict will look very bad. The Russians just gave the Syrian 24 batteries of hypersonic cruise missiles. Some of those will make their way to … Iran. who will … reverse engineer them. They are nuclear capable. the Russians have daily flights to Damascus with weapons, ammo & spare parts.

I no longer blame Obama, democrats, liberals…I now blame the 50% of ignorant Americans who voted this clown POS into office for another 4 years despite everything this administration has done wrong. Posted on December 19, 2012 at 3:57pmBarry doesn’t understand the definition of the word compromise. To compromise is to make a deal between different parties where each party gives up part of their demand.
A Barry “compromise” is when the other party gives up MOST of their demands to Barry, because obviously, Barry knows what is for the good of the Country.

The GOP house should give Obama everything he wants except the debt ceiling power and vote present on the rest. Then as the economy tanks..you run more ads saying..”teach Mr Obama simple enconomics…VOTE REPUBLICAN”. You don’t say vote Cantor or Vote Boehner..you vote the brand..just like the democrats do.

It was self-determination that founded our country. We have championed self-determination throughout history and still do if you call the North African positions that. Ergo, we should have no guilt in leaving and the US should have no quarrel in us doing so.
It’s about time we stop complaining, accepting, and pretending that elections work.

Barack’s rise to power was/is a different phenomenon. Nobody who voted for him the first time voted Dim. They voted for the black messiah. Second time around, those who voted for him (the actual number will never be known), voted for the black man, the commie, the Muslim, the America-hater, and/or the worker of iniquity.

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 3:58pmAgreed….it doesn’t matter how much Boehner concedes to Obama, Obama will pillory the GOP no matter what. Better to vote “present” give Obama everything he wants (except the debt ceiling power) then take out ads in strategic states explaining how every policy is Obama’s. Do unto Obama what he will do unto you.
Obama’s purpose here isn’t the “fiscal cliff”, it’s changing the house from GOP to democrat in 2014. Boehner is too locked into the establishment to realise what’s taking place he’s a buffoon.
Obama’s biggest defeat and most infuriating experience was losing the house in 2010. All of a sudden the American people stopped Obama in his tracks and he resents it. Obama keeps enemy lists and the GOP house is his enemy until 2014. Obama doesn’t care what’s ceded to him or if anything is ceded to him at all. In fact he’d love the tax rate to expire on everyone not just “the rich”. This way Obama can tax even harder while playing “hero” to the people and demagoguing the GOP house. It’s a win-win for him. Obama believes he can win back the house in 2014 and then you’ll see what an Obama not beholden to the voter can truly be capable of…DREAM act, EPA regulations, Cap and Trade, Tax hikes, gun bans….heck I’m expecting him to announce at that point that Obamacare won’t work..we’re going nationalized health all the way. This stuff means nothing to Barry…he just wants the house back in 2014.
