‘Answer My Question!’: Angry Piers Morgan Berates Gun Advocate Over How Many Bullets an AR-15 Can Fire in One Second (Featuring TheBlaze’s Will Cain)

The gun control debate raged on Wednesday night as CNN host Piers Morgan battled TheBlaze’s Will Cain and other pro-gun advocates over whether an semi-automatic assault weapons ban would curb violent crime in the United States.

“Why does any American need one of these AR-15s? What possible protection can that kind of thing offer them? It’s a military rifle,” Morgan began.

“I don’t think that the conversation, when it comes to me, is with the burden upon me to say why I might need that weapon,” Cain replied. “What I need you to do explain how you’ve made the country safer by proposing to ban that weapon.”

“I understand the sense that we have at a moment like this that we must do something,” he added. “But what I would suggest is make sure you are actually going to accomplish that.”

Cain went on to say he is not convinced that banning assault weapons would accomplish anything “significant.” He noted that the rifle that Newtown, Conn. shooter Adam Lanza used when he killed 20 children and six adults would not be covered under Connecticut’s assault weapons ban or the federal assault weapons ban that expired in 2004.

“I find that ridiculous,” Morgan replied.

“What I would say is, the federal ban that we did have for 10 years didn’t drop national violence,” Cain said.

“But it did. Demonstrably, it did,” Morgan shot back.

After saying he wasn’t aware of the statistics that Morgan was referring to, Cain explained that it takes a very “determined criminal” to do something as horrific as Adam Lanza, and an assault weapons ban isn’t necessarily going to deter that kind of deranged individual.

As far as Morgan’s claim that the federal assault weapons ban passed by Congress in 1994 “demonstrably” reduced national violence, he may be overselling, according to a 2004 study from the University of Pennsylvania.

That is unclear. According to a 2004 study from the University of Pennsylvania, the number of people killed in mass shootings did go down generally during the years that the ban was in effect. The exception was 1999, the year that the shooting at Columbine High School happened.

The number of mass shootings per year has doubled since the ban expired, but the researchers say it’s difficult to discern whether there was a cause-and-effect relationship.

When asked what law he would propose to stop mass killings like the one in Connecticut, Morgan said “you’ve got to try.”

“I’ve been in this country for the last six, seven years watching shooting massacre after [shooting massacre],” he added. “When does the slaughter stop?”

At this point, John R. Lott Jr., author of “More Guns, Less Crime,” chimed in and defended the use of semi-automatic rifles, saying the guns have the same characteristics as all semi-automatic weapons.

“You want people to think that they are just harmless old hunting rifles, and that’s why they sell so fast. And it is a disgrace that you won’t answer those questions,” Morgan said, raising his voice.

At several points throughout the interaction between Lott and Morgan, it was more of a shouting match as Morgan demanded Lott answer the AR-15 related question, “How many bullets does it fire a second?”

Listen to the left, they rant that we don’t need assault rifles for hunting or home defense, the response from the right is always a stupid look on their face and crickets chirping. The response from me is always, “assault rifles are not for home defense, they are for defense against tyrannical communist dictatorships!” Now everyone say it, “Assault weapons are to stop dictatorships,” it’s in our bill of rights! Every time the right to bare arms is taken away, communists then start mass executions, remember Larry Grathwohl! If they violate our constitutional rights and come for our guns, they get two hollow points and the next armed revolution begins with me! I have a bronze star, my dad gave his life for this country, and I want my grandkids to have what I had! Start going on the offense against these morons my fellow true Americans, we have the law and the constitution behind us! Assault weapons are to stop rogue governments & dictatorships, now say it!

  They’ll deny it of course but one of the founding fathers was very specific when he wrote that the primary purpose of the second amendment was to insure that the people have the means to defend themselves against those who would impose tyranny upon them, including their own government.

  That’s right we don’t need ‘assault rifles’ for home defense or hunting. We need them for when we need to take up arms against our government if/when it becomes corrupt and stops answering to the people. Why can’t idiots on the left grasp this fact? This is why the 2nd Amendment was added. It wsn’t put in for hunters or defending your home against common criminals. For f’s sake… I can’t believe there are people stupid enough to actually believe that it was.

  I like the idea of their arguement. (Insert laugh) Another possible felony charge will stop him. Yup possession of an assault weapon. Not stealing one, not stealing a car, not shooting his mother in the face, not the breaking and entering, not shooting an adult X 8, not shooting a child X 20, nope that 1 possession of a assault weapon will make him think, “Nope better not”.   “Assault rifle” is not a gun term, it is a political term. Go to a gun store, and ask for an “assault rifle”, and they will send you packing. AR is for Armalite, the company that designed the M16 family of rifles

  The M4 does not fire any faster than my .22 squirrel rifle. It does not fire any faster than the M1 Carbine used in WWII.
  
  In the 1950s, you could walk into a hardware store, and purchase M1Carbines and you could get 20 and 30 round magazines for it. Kids did not take em to school and slaughter each other.
  
  The “gun” is not the problem. We got rid of prayer, Bible, and the Ten Commandments, and sit back and wonder why these things happen.
  
  While one of these incidents is too many, they are very rare. More kids drowned in their own swimming pools and bath tubs than die of gun violence, but then again, socialists cannot get full power by outlawing swimming pools.
  
  Black Americans make up 12.5% of the population, they do half the nation’s murders. If we dropped black murder rates to the same as whites, we would drop the nation’s murder rates by almost 40%. You will never hear a lib tell you that, knowing that doing so would also save a lot of black lives.
  
  Most gun murders are done with a cheap semi auto hand gun, not a battle carbine.

  Lott should have just said “As fast as you can pull the trigger, doesn’t mean you are going to hit anything though, just like your proposed legislation. You’re trying to pull the trigger as fast as you can but you have only a moving target in mind and what you are proposing will not hit it. Stop aiming at the firearms which actually make you safer and aim and the root cause of cultural failures which let us think that the issue lies with an inanimate object and not the person that animates it.”

  Yes, they are. Also, to protect ourselves in the event of an invasion. If America becomes disarmed, wouldn’t our enemies just dance with glee (not that they aren’t already)? I’d never give up my husband’s right to defend his family by any means necessary.
  
  A majority on a gun ban just proves how useless America has become, as if that would stop violence.

  We have semi-auto guns in the usa and in most Muslim countrys all you see are the citizens with their K-47 that are full automatic. We have to keep pulling the trigger and all they have to do is hls the trigger down untill it rns out of bullits.   Actually, your argument has it’s flaws as well. So-called assault weapons are useful in just as many scenarios as just about any other weapon. I know people that hunt deer with an AR-15, legally. Is it the best gun for the job? That’s not for me or anyone else to say. Since they come home with deer, it appears that it is adequate. The idea that, as a military style weapon, it is unsuited for home defense is asinine as well. Military personnel don’t switch weapons when they switch from an offensive to defensive posture. Lastly, some people aren’t just defending their front lawns and houses from humans. They are defending their ranches and animals from varmints, such as coyotes, coydogs and mountain lions. These animals are rarely sitting still when the the need to exterminate them arises. The ability to shoot quickly is a real plus.
  
  One of the tricks that the left uses, is to try to support an argument for a one-size-fits-all solution. When that “solution” doesn’t work, they remove the last vestige as “it doesn’t help, so you don’t need that one either”. Don’t play their game and don’t help them to make their argument. The best gun in the world for the situation that you are in, is the one that you have.

  Good points all. The reason why we have gun violence is because of these bleeding hearts like Morgan. The will feel good if we are all disarmed but they will surely have their own personal body guards…How many bullets a second didn’t seem to make much difference in Oregon where only a few were hit or killed. The guy shot like 60 shots. Or how about the two guys in North Hollywood back in the 90′s. They shot thousands of rounds into the town and they died, nobody else who was shot died but them. They were taken down by an AR15..I didn’t take but a few rounds to stop them yet they literally sprayed thousands of rounds.

  Due to the high rate of deaths due to automobiles, I propose legislation that would restrict those who would be allowed to buy a car and regulate the private sale of cars on a National scale. Hence forth you cannot purchase a car if you are under 21 years of age, you must be an American Citizen, with a valid photo I.D.. You must submit your information for a full criminal background check and answer this simple affadavit.
  1) Do you own a cell phone with texting capabilities
  2) Do you have a child in your household under the age of 10
  3) Do you often have to transport more than one child under the age of 10
  4) Have you ever consumed food or drink in your vehicle while moving
  5) Do you plan to listen to music or other media in your vehicle
  6) Do you plan to purchase a car that is capable of exceeding the speed limit

  9) Are you over the age of 70

  An Ar-15 is nether an assault rifle or military rifle. The AR-15 is a semi-auto rifle, and in CA. it has a ridged 10 round magazine. The Constitution is… with liberty and justice for all. My liberty is to keep government out of my life where it is not needed according to the Constitution.

  assault weapons are to stop tyranny. the left knows it, that’s why they are hell bent on disarming us. tyranny is here. just read some of the stories on this site, cavity searched on the side of the road, town will arm officers and demand papers from everyone they see, and the list goes on and on. the left knows that we will eventually fight back (I HOPE) so they want to disarm us all. the simple truth is that the only thing that has ever stopped a bad person with a gun is a good person with a gun. it’s also true that never in the history of the world has a group of disarmed/unarmed people been able to live in peace and prosperity. that’s why they don’t teach true history. wake up America.

As the second amendment states clearly, “A well regulated Militia (meaning citizen soldiers) being necessary to the security of a fee State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Our founders allowed that we have the natural right to defend ourselves to keep our country FREE. They didn’t care about sport shooting or hunting. The weapons are to be used against the government to prevent dictatorship. Why can’t gun people actually say that???

  It is quite obvious that the best way to reduce Mass Killings is to arm citizens, and eliminate “Gun Free Zones”.
  
  Examples of shootings in “Gun Free Zones”, where concealed carry guns are not allowed:
  • Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, CT, 2012: (26 dead)
  • Movie Theater, Aurora, CO, 2012: (12 killed)
  • Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, 2007: (32 dead)
  
  Compared to shootings in other locations:
  • Mayan Palace Theater, San Antonio, TX, 2012: (0 dead) Jesus Manuel Garcia shoots at a movie theater, a police car and bystanders; as he enters the movie theater, an armed off-duty cop shoots Garcia four times, stopping the attack.
  • Appalachian School of Law, Grundy, VA, 2002: (3 dead) Crazed immigrant shoots the dean and a professor, then begins shooting students; as he goes for more ammunition, two armed students point their guns at him, allowing a third to tackle him.
  • Nick’s Palace, Edinboro, Pa., 1998: (1 killed) A student shoots up a junior high school dance being held at a restaurant; restaurant owner pulls out his shotgun and stops the gunman.
  • Pearl High School, Mississippi, 1997: (2 killed) After shooting several people at his high school, student heads for the junior high school; assistant principal Joel Myrick retrieves a .45 pistol from his car and points it at the gunman’s head, ending the murder spree.

  All true.
  I respond in the following manner:
  First, ALL weapons we use today were military designs. Even muskets. Revolvers, Lever Actions, Bolt Actions, and Semi Auto Actions were ALL military designs. And they were ALL available throughout our history to civilians who wanted them. NEVER did the government say that citizens should have guns that were outdated. Not until the Prohibition years, when criminal gangs started using fully automated machine guns, and then those were prohibited except to those who can acquire a special license to have them.
  Secondly, the rifles in question are NOT assault weapons. They do not fire full auto. They are LESS powerful than typical hunting rifles, but slightly more powerful than most pistols. But they are black, and that scares people.
  Third, a trained shooter with three ten-round magazines can do as much damage as a trained shooter with one 30-round mags. The time it takes to swap mags is about 1/2 to 1 second.
  Fourth, they do make excellent home defense weapons, and they are excellent hunting platforms.
  Fifth, most importantly: the 2nd amendment ensured that the PEOPLE were armed sufficiently to be able to defend their liberties from a tyrannical government. So folks like Mr Morgan, an English tosser to be sure, may not understand why we want those, but unlike Europeans, who never learn from History, we Americans understand that IF the Germans and Russian people were armed, they could have resisted the regimes that killed them.

  I find it fascinating when people who know nothing about firearms try to have an intelligent debate about firearms. A “semi-automatic” firearm is any firearm that can auto-reload one round at a time. A semi-automatic firearm can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger (google “bumpfire” for example of this) A fully automatic weapon (aka machine gun) has a cyclic rate that varies depending on the caliber, ammunition and design of the weapon. The idea that a firearm with a cyclic rate of 4 rounds per second is more deadly than a gun with a cyclic rate of 1 to 2 rounds per second is just silly. It’s like saying that a drunk driver going 50 mph is safer than a drunk driver going 60 mph. Pierce doesn’t seem to understand that civil unrest (LA Riots for example) and natural disasters (Katrina) happen. During the LA riots Police couldn’t and often wouldn’t respond to calls because the situation was too out of control. So when you can’t rely on the Police what do you do? In a survival situation the AR-15 is perfectly suited for both hunting and self defense. Ask any business owner who defended their property with an AR-15 following the Katrina hurricane or the LA riots.

  Hey Romquiz, the problem isn’t that we’re sitting on our Redneck Arses allowing them to be shot left and right, it’s people like you insisting on NOT allowing those of us who take the safety and security of ourselves and others seriously to do anything to stop them from being shot left and right. You complain and whine and pass laws that leave victims helpless and then scream for more of the same when the inevitable happens. Look at the difference between the theater in Aurora, CO and the one in Texas this past week. Gun free zone theater had numerous victims, shooter in Texas theater ran headlong into an off duty deputy who ended his shooting spree with only one other person wounded. The church shooter in Colorado a few years ago was stopped from entering a sanctuary containing hundreds of people by a volunteer security guard with a gun. If people with guns weren’t effective at stopping criminals, why would police officers carry them?

Fact is even though we have more LEGAL gun ownership violent crime across the board has been gradually DECREASING not increasing. you’d see this yourself if you actually wanted to know the truth and visit the DoJ’s website. They have crime stats going back decades. the trend is down not up. Another FACT is that cities with the strictest gun laws also happen to be the ones with the the most crime and gun related crime.   Nice try. You forgot to factor in all the “Gun Free Zones” in our enlightended inner cities in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. And you also have to take into account the dramatic drop in the gun crime rates in Florida, Ohio, Texas, et al. (that means all the rest) the introduced CCW legislation to restore gun rights to the state’s citizens. But most of all, you forgot the real reason for the Second Amendment – a reason so important that it shall not be infringed by any governmental edict – and that is the ability of the citizenry to defend itself against a tryrannical government.   You know you’re over the target when you’re taking fire. This is the second interview I’ve seen this a-hole do since the Newtown shooting and there are a couple of common threads: 1) He constantly interrupts his guests in the middle of their answers and 2) He likes to engage in name-calling.
  
  When you have to stoop to those levels, it is pretty clear that you know you have no comeback and you can’t win the argument on logic. Thus, you have nothing left but to silence and ridicule your opponent.
  
  When he says, with crocodile tears, “We have to at least try…” Yes, we do need to at least try…try allowing teachers and staff to carry concealed weapons if they are properly trained so that potential mass murderers will think twice about targeting a school knowing that there is a possibility someone will shoot back at them. Instead, Piers wants to do the opposite and impose even more gun control, which will inevitably lead to more senseless tragedies.

  I agree with you entirely. The leftists have seized upon this terrible tragedy as their best opportunity to proceed with their disarmament of the American people. True, they are not going for a total ban right now, but they are trying to get the camel’s nose into the tent.
  
  They know that if they cannot succeed after this tragedy, then their subsequent chances of success are nil. Therefore, expect a total commitment of effort from them at this time. No lesser person than the Vice President has be charged with acheiving this objective.
  
  In my country it is extremely difficult for anybody to own a pistol. It is not theoretically impossible, but it is practically so. The groups of people who have pistols in any number are the police (who must get permission to tool up) and crimnal gangs. And people still get murdered.
  
  I wonder how many of the parents or relatives of those poor souls who were murdered at the Sandy Hook school wish that the teachers had been armed, or that there had been an armed security guard on duty.
  
  I am not suggesting for one moment that the grief-stricken should be dragged into this grubby political stoush, but if I were one such parent I know what my wish would be.

  If that is the case, numbnuts like Piers Morgan need to be made to explain why the parents in the Sandy Hook district felt their children were safer when the district re-opened this week and there was a GUN in every school. There was a police officer stationed at each school, and each and every one was armed. Would the parents have felt safer if the officers were unarmed ? Obviously not. It was the not the presence of the officer, it was the presence of the GUN…….and if given the choice of whether the officers were armed with a .22 revolver or an AR with a 30 round mag I bet the parents would choose the AR.

  The M4 does not fire any faster than my .22 squirrel rifle. It does not fire any faster than the M1 Carbine used in WWII.
  
  In the 1950s, you could walk into a hardware store, and purchase M1Carbines and you could get 20 and 30 round magazines for it. Kids did not take em to school and slaughter each other.
  
  The “gun” is not the problem. We got rid of prayer, Bible, and the Ten Commandments, and sit back and wonder why these things happen.
  
  While one of these incidents is too many, they are very rare. More kids drowned in their own swimming pools and bath tubs than die of gun violence, but then again, socialists cannot get full power by outlawing swimming pools.
  
  Black Americans make up 12.5% of the population, they do half the nation’s murders. If we dropped black murder rates to the same as whites, we would drop the nation’s murder rates by almost 40%. You will never hear a lib tell you that, knowing that doing so would also save a lot of black lives.
  
  Most gun murders are done with a cheap semi auto hand gun, not a battle carbine.
  
  “Assault rifle” is not a gun term, it is a political term. Go to a gun store, and ask for an “assault rifle”, and they will send you packing. AR is for Armalite, the company that designed the M16 family of rifles.

  I really appreciate that you’re fighting the good fight. I have been at it for years and was a member of the fledgling Tea Party movement when it first got started, demonstrations and all. I have also suffered ridicule, lost “friends”, etc. It’s part of the deal. I live in a blue state (Washington) and have two absolutely useless pieces of crap for senators. The idiots in Seattle, Olympia and Tacoma just keep on electing them and there seems to be nothing we can do. Hang in there, Joe. We will prevail – although it’s going to cost dear, I’m afraid.
  
  Rangerskippy, I bought an M1 Carbine a few years ago at a sporting goods store. Manufactured in June of 1946. It’s extremely fun to shoot, although really only good if you’re being overrun. Not a distance shooter, but you are correct. It’s rate of fire is no faster than my grandson’s Ruger 10/22. Since the rounds resemble a long 9MM round, not great for hunting either. Less people came out to vote FOR him than in his last election. Less conservatives came out to vote YET just under half of the people who did turn out to vote voted Romney NOT Obama.   Guns don’t kill people kill. Look at the gun deaths in Chicago. Dozens on a weekly basis. Chicago has the strictest gun regulations in the county but it doesn’t stop the violence. If everybody had a gun the crooks would think twice before walking into your house. The 2nd amendment was to protect the citizens from the government. Make sure you keep your guns, you will probably need them in the not to distance future.

OK , I just need to say this.
Why hasn’t anyone called Piers out on his misrepresentation of the facts. Piers states that the AR 15 is a machinegun. He has also stated that it is an Assault Rifle. An assault riffle is a select-fire weapon that can be selected from semi auto to full auto. A machine gun is fully automatic weapon. The AR 15 is neither and will jam if too many rounds are fired too fast. The AR 15 is a semi auto weapon. Peirs needs to fact check before he sites hysteria. The AR 15 is defined as an assault weapon but it is based purely on looks. Someone please call him out on this. Any ban on weapons in this class will mean that more weapons will be on the black market where there is definitely no background checks.
One more thing. A gun safe and gun locks would have more of an an impact than another usless ban that will put more guns in the hands of criminals.

  Pretty much this. It was repeated over and over that the AR-15 is a semi-automatic rifle, meaning that it can only fire bullets as fast as the shooter can pull the trigger – certainly nowhere close to 47 rounds per second. Maybe 5 rounds per second? Yes, it can be modified for automatic fire, but so can any semi-automatic weapon. If you ban AR-15′s on the basis that they can be modified for automatic fire then you can also ban a glock or a beretta handgun under the same bases.

  That is only partially true, Colt’s civilian AR has a modified bolt carrier and a block in the lower receiver to prohibit the installation of any full auto parts. The disconnector, hammer, trigger and selector are all different and possession of ANY full-auto parts is a federal crime unless you have a class III permit to own, manufacture or repair such weapons;
  
  - 49 U.S.C. 781-788, 26 U.S.C. 5861, 26 U.S.C. 5872 – Violators may be fined not more than $250,000, and imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both. In addition, any vessel, vehicle or aircraft used to transport, conceal or possess an unregistered NFA firearm is subject to seizure and forfeiture, as is the weapon itself. -
  
  The civilian AR platforms are difficult to convert, simply because the parts are so hard to get. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a crook, lying, or they’re a federal agent trying to roll you up…or all of the above.
  
  Reality is this, full auto is a waste. A trained shooter will, in all likelihood fire any select-fire (semi-auto/full auto) weapon on semi-auto, in two round “double taps.” It’s what we used to call a “minimum response.” No seasoned operator fires a rifle on full auto other than at the range. When you are in the grease, you want the rounds to count, you only carry so much ammo and you only want to use enough to do the job.

  Sarge, we were taught in basic to use three round bursts in semi-auto, not auto-hit-something. Double-taps work great, too. You nailed it – only an untrained shooter, a panicked shooter or someone with unlimited ammo shoots on full auto. It’s idotic. Any good shooter knows you pick your targets and conserve ammo. Ask any good sniper if he needs an automatic weapon.

  I learned to shoot with the M16A1. We were taught to use controlled firing of 3 rounds of aimed firing. While we did fire full automatic, it was abundantly clear that you would expend most your ammo very quickly. If I recall correctly, a 20 round magazine was only loaded with 18 rounds to prevent a jam in the magazine. We had two ammo pouches capable of carrying 4 magazines each.
  
  The math is simple 18 rounds x 4 magazines x 2 pouches = 144 rounds. Full auto firing burns through the rounds quickly. Then you had to reload the magazines.

  I would like to know the name of the experts morgan talked to that told him an AR can fire 4-6 rounds a second. It will only as fast as a person can pull the trigger. I can’t believe anyone can pull a trigger 4-6 times in a second. Sure a full auto can but we are not talking full auto here. You can’t go to Wal-mart and buy a full auto.

  The AR-15 can fire 4-6 rounds a second. It cannot be sustained and is highly inaccurate. The fact that a shooter cannot obtain a good sight picture and fire that quickly is lost completely. It’s the equivalent of Piers talking and assuming his is making a valid arguement….

This makes me want to murder this man with a chair… Now I know it’s not the Christian thing to do, and I’m not going to act on it, but his ignorance/arrogance makes my blood boil. The only other time I was this upset was when Seattle won the game against Greenbay because of the replacement refs.
The real answer to his question is as fast as the cycle rate will allow. Some people say they can pull off 5 to 6 rounds a second. If you actually do that, you will be hitting things as accurately as the A-team did. My AK can do the same as the AR, and so can my Remington 750.

How many media outlets told the true story of the Clackamas Mall shooting that occurred a few days before the CT shooting? When the shooters gun jammed a 22 year old with a concealed hand gun license stepped out from behind a column and drew his gun on the shooter. Seeing motion behind the shooter he did not kill him in fear of hitting someone else. The shooter ran off and killed himself.

Give it time and when you want one you have to get a medical clearance to prove that you do not have mental problems. As well as one from every person in the house, neighbors house and everyone within 5 miles of your house. And if anyone fails and is, you can not have one as they might steal yours from your locked gun safe.

  May pilots were afraid of having to go through a psychological testing system that would prevent them from buying or carrying a weapon legally. They did not trust the government to use the system fairly, especially when there seemed to be an idea that reinforcing the cabin doors was good enough for government work. A cynical person like myself might expect the government to set up a similar threatening system that would deter any teacher or administrator from having a weapon at school in the same way that some pilots were deterred from carrying weapons in the cockpit.

  @cmonpeople … the Constitution does not qualify ownership or the right to bear arms with licensing or registration. Those are liberal qualifiers that we have allowed to be pushed down our throats without much of a fight.
  
  Perhaps you would have the govt require that you license and register your cordless nail gun because it too can fire single shots in rapid succession and just as likely to kill as a bullet. Further, maybe they should limit the number of nails you can load into the nail gun to ensure you don’t go on a murder spree, even though you only use it to quickly build things of wood and provide an income to feed, cloth, house and protect your family.

  Piers goes from wanting to know the answer to how many bullets does a semi-auto AR-15 fire, the answer is 1. He then claims that his experts have told him that the AR 15 fires 4-6 per second and 100 per minute, that’s not even the rate of fire for the M-16 Battle Rifle issued to our soldiers that go to Afghanistan or even the British SAS that went to the Falklands.
  And if it were not for the American People sending weapons to Britain in WWII in the chance that Hitler was going to invade he might not be here speaking english. It was the Semi-Automatic Enfield that Soldiers used in WWII that saved his Country and our M1 Garand and .30 Cal Carbine that saved Europe from Fascism.
  But back to the cyclic rate of the discussion. He lied even to his audience because he had no facts to quote because he did not research his subject.

  I just wish the people on our side would actually SAY EXACTLY THAT right to the president’s face, because at that instant the politicians will understand that we’ve had enough nonsense and that THEY are the one’s who should be on the defensive.

ANY LAW or RULE that INFRINGES ON MY RIGHT TO OWN AND BEAR ARMS IS IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!! Mr morgan go back to the UK!!
