ABC News’ Jake Tapper confronted President Barack Obama about not doing more earlier in his administration to combat gun violence following last week’s horrific elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn.

“This is not the first issue, the first incident of horrific gun violence of your four years,” Tapper said Wednesday after Obama announced a new task force to bring him “real reforms” to reduce gun violence. “Where have you been?”

“Here’s where I’ve been Jake,” Obama said. “I’ve been president of the United States dealing with the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, an auto industry on the verge of collapse, two wars, I don’t think I’ve been on vacation. I think all of us have to do some reflection on how we prioritize what we do here in Washington.”

Obama repeated his statement from Sunday that “if we are not getting right the need to keep our children safe then nothing else matters,” but said there are many ways to do that.

“A lot of things are involved in that, Jake — making sure they’ve got decent health care, making sure they’ve got good education, making sure that their parents have jobs, those are all relevant as well,” Obama said. “Those aren’t just sort of side issues.”

  Presidential Press Conferences are scripted events. The “reporters” must submit their questions the day before the press conference. The President’s Public Relations team selects the questions and calls the “reporter” the night before and grants permission to ask the question. This gives Obama time to rehearse the answers.
  
  Obama has a list of the “reporters” and the order to call on them. The major networks (except Fox) get to have their “reporter” appear in the news conference. Sometimes the “reporter” asks an unscripted question and they are placed on double secret probation.

  Jake asked that question because he believes that George W Bush was never President of the US. Therefore, Obama didn’t inherit an economic mess of trillion dollar deficit caused by tax cuts which led to doubling the US debt, 2 out 3 US auto companies going into liquidation, unpaid wars, using national guard men to fight in wars because they’re cheaper, a wrecked US housing market, stocked market down to 6500 from14000 and an unemployment rate of 8.0% and rising up from 5.00%.

He has missed 49% of all his security briefings, where was he? He takes vacations during financial crisis, during political upheaval in foreign countries, during nation tragedies like Hurricane Sandy, and has spent more time fundraising and campaigning than being President but when Jack Tapper asks “where have you been?”, he lays out this crap like Jack is a moron and should know better.

Uhm, Jake, he’s been trying to ‘do something quietly’ as he alluded to the Brady group in his first term, mainly by sending American arms into Mexico in the hope that we would be outraged when American tourists or border dwelling citizens began dying…

nice, that willingness to sacrifice a few citizens, ain’t it?

and instead it backfired, but only because it was a federal agent killed by those guns, and the trail was discovered leading back to his AG…

not that anything has come of it.

I’ve made sure they can get these part-time jobs by presiding over the highest underemployment rate since WWII and by still not making up the deficit of jobs lost since 2009. I’d like to say I blame Bush but I’m the only president in US history who hasn’t made up the deficit of jobs lost in a recession. In fact…just this past November I helped 350,000 people leave the work force. Happy Kwanzaa…ummm..Ramadan…sorry..Christmas.

  Ask the parents of the children killed if they wished the principal/front office, and teachers had access to a firearm to take out the sicko with a gun, and they would probably say- arm them up!
  
  Think of it this way: The only government institution that does not get armed security detail is our public schools. Armed security is good enough for Bloomberg, Obama, Congress, even government research facilities such as NIH. But our children? Not good enough.
  
  Our society expects to be protected by armed security at ball games, museums, airports- but schools? They’re thinking is that of an insane person.
  
  An armed adult in a classroom/school or a defenseless teacher using her body as a shield…hmmmm…I’l take a teacher with a 1911 at her side and an M4 under her desk any day.

  Then MO wants me to take the Dog and the kids to Martha’s Vineyard for the summer’s and
  don’t forget all those damn trips to Hawaii for the Holidays, there’s just no end to it………….
  I fly back to the mainland to get some work done, and those pesky people in Hollywood want
  me to fly from DC to CA. every couple of weeks (18 times) to give me money so I can continue
  to be their Rock Star.. all that flying can take a toll on a guy…oh don’t forget I had to Kill Osama,
  had to sit in that room with all my Bud’s and watch the show, wheeeeh, that was tuff !!!

Real reforms to reduce gun violence? Guns are illegally regulated with thousands of unconstitutional laws on the books all across this country and the idiotic Tapper wants more laws? The best thing that could happen would be to repeal every ‘gun law’ since the second amendment but with the Marxist mulatto POS at the helm of the titanic we won’t have to worry about that happening,he’ll try to repeal the second amendment and finish us off once and for all.
