‘Sacrilege’: Krauthammer Rebukes Obama for Citing the ‘Massacre of Children’ in Fiscal Cliff Speech

On Wednesday, President Barack Obama invoked the recent horror at Sandy Hook Elementary School as one of the reasons why he believes Republicans should compromise with him in budget talks. Following his controversial comments, conservative commentator and columnist Charles Krauthammer derided the invocation of the tragedy, calling it “sacrilege.”

“The president invoking a massacre of children to essentially say the Republicans need to accept his terms of surrender in the negations is not just a non-sequitur, I think it’s a sacrilege,” the commentator said during a Fox News appearance.

After dismissing Obama’s use of the Sandy Hook massacre to move budget talks along, Krauthammer noted his belief that the president is needlessly negative towards Republicans.

“He is excessively self-righteous,” he said. “He talks about the other side as being unprincipled, not interested in a national interest, slaves of an ideology which he says makes no sense and…invested in opposing him to the point where they’re willing to let the country suffer.”

The commentator noted that Obama could strike a softer and less divisive tone and inevitably dismissed the president’s current rhetoric as ”a combination of self-righteous and narcissism.”

The initial comments that spawned debate and comment from Krauthammer came from Obama on Wednesday, when he urged a compromise in contentious and highly-partisan budget talks.

“After what we’ve gone through over the past several months, a devastating hurricane and now one of the worse tragedies in our memory, the country deserves folks to be willing to compromise for the greater good,” Obama said.

After gun control, think that next on the Chicago radicals’ scripted agenda : probably target conservative media outlets or particular people which is the Alinsky method . Saul taught them that it is better to go after a particular person that a group or organization. Have you noticed that tactic ? Know the international Left targeted conservative Rupert Murdoch’s NOTW tabloid in July 2011. That media witch hunt is still in progress. Interesting how unified and ” organized ” the international Left is.

But, of course – obama does not mourn the victims of this tragedy, and he is not interested in examining the causes or looking for solutions – obama will exploit these murdered children and adults to push his agenda, as he has already done to push gun control and higher taxes.

Indeed, it is “sacrilege” – be it is also the normal pattern with obama – he views every tragedy as a crisis to exploit, and he doesn’t care who, or what, he destroys – he will stop at nothing to push his agenda. Every American should be outraged by this.

Never miss an opportunity exploit a tragedy. If this were black children, it would be ignored as a normal day in Chicago. A black child goes missing and nothing in the news. A white child goes missing and the the media can’t talk enough about it. Once again, racist media that puts value on whites over blacks and liberals keep praising leaders like Obama. Remember, Africans sold other Africans for money and power. This is still going on. Educate yourself.

That is stupid. A white child didn’t go missing! 20 children, little children were brutally cut down by an out of control, mentally disturbed a- hole. This has nothing to do with racism. If this was an urban school shooting this eould be just as tragic. Se aren’t talking about random murder, gangland murder, revenge killing. This was an act of terror! This kid killed his mother but that wasn’t enough. He went to the school with the intent of never coming out alive. He was going out with a blaze of glory and taking out as many people as possible. He was going to leave his mark on a community that will never recover from this. This wasn’t racism. I understand what you are trying to say but don’t make light and try to compare this to the poor minority child that went missing and the news never covered it.
