Bill Ayers: The Left Must Utilize Its ‘Absolute Access’ to America’s Classrooms

Bill Ayers, former domestic terrorist-turned university professor, reemerged earlier this month to explain how the Left’s access to schools and neighborhoods will help them shape the future of America. Speaking at a New York University “Change the Stakes” meeting on Dec. 4, he said the Left must utilize the existing “movements on the ground.”

In the video, obtained by EAGnews.org, Ayers also first blasts conservatives for portraying President Barack Obama as a “secret Muslim” and a “secret sociopath,” running around with “terrorists and Arabs.” He lamented the fact that many liberals felt like Obama was “winking” at them while he portrayed himself as a compromising moderate – but Obama ended up disappointing the far left, according to Ayers.

“The same people, and I’m sure some of us in this room, are saying, ‘But the second term he’ll be free,’” he said. “Forget about it. That’s not where change comes from.”

“If we want change to come, we would do well not to look at the sites of power we have no access to; the White House, the Congress, the Pentagon,” Ayers added. “We have absolute access to the community, the school, the neighborhood, the street, the classroom, the workplace, the shop, the farm.”

“Why are we ignoring that and saying, ‘I hope Obama makes peace’?” he asked. “Forget about it. He’s not going to do anything if you don’t do something.”

“So, our job is movement building, [Obama's] job is governance and sitting in a chair of empire.”

Ayers first found fame for his involvement in plots to set off explosives at the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, a police station, two Army recruiting stations and a New York judge’s home while his family slept inside. He is the main founder and leader of the now-defunct radical group, The Weather Underground.

      Ayer’s is a little white rich boy.Thats how he managed to live in canada for ten years .He didn’t have to do what his poor cohorts had to ,because he was and is from a rich family .He didn’t need money or a job . Which meant he could pay cash for every thing . He didn’t have to get close to any one for any thing. Food ,rent and any thing else he might need .If things got a little sticky all he had to do was move to another section of canada,money was no problem.On the other hand his cohorts had to lie, cheat and sneak around to get an apartment and a job.That kind of close interaction can get you caught.And on a occasion it did.When his father died ole bill inherited his fathers two hundred million dollar estate. Not bad for a comi,fascist,socialist bomb throwing terrorist ,is it ?

      I’ve taken a class by him in the mid-90s and he is one scary dude. I didn’t know who he was at the time, but he really is serious about what he says. He is honest and says what he means and means what he says and we need to watch his steps and try to stop them before it’s too late.

    I must be lucky I guess. The only teachers I know really well are conservatives! I can’t for the life of me understand how today’s teachers can get away with what they call teaching. High school graduates can’t even give change for a dollar much less write a coherent sentence but they know how to get free sh$t don’t they.

    Our “educators” are producing,”useful idiots” that will blindly follow the Marxist agenda of the collectivist fantasy of a socialist utopia. We need educators that teach history, not rewrite it, to fit their narrative.

    They are intellectually dishonest and will academically punish any students, that disagree or challenge their “alternate reality”.

    Instead of turning us into Europe, they should just move there, but the hypocrites can’t endure the lower standards of living, where everybody is the same, socially, economically and morally bankrupt.

    This is exactly why we have lost on the right!

    We failed to recognize and take seriously the lefts agenda over this country and this is proof. The bottom up is coming up…we just had little forerunners to that end via the OWS movement which also showed anyone with a brain that they are very disorganized at the grass roots level and relied solely on emotions to move their agenda…whatever it was.

    This time around will be much different. They are going to push BHO hard on gun control, taxing the wealthy more and creating a police state like we’ve never known. The ends justify the means and since they FEEL they are on the right side of this fundamental change, then they’ll be safe from the monster they are creating.

    They will not know liberty nor will we. They will give birth to a tyranny the world has never seen before due to the tech that the US has on the shelfs.

    Its amazing to watch our own demise, we could not have seen this in real time if it were not for the inet. But maybe thats also one way for us to see what the devil is up to and not to be fooled by it.

      As I reflect back in time looking at my education, my friends as teachers, and my kids schooling, it is now obvious what was subtly happening at each time period. I thought each experience was just an aberration, but so wrong I was. We need to collectively put together a long term game plan to overturn and stop this indoctrination. By default 2 of my kids were home schooled and excel at their professions. The others stayed in public school for the sports only.

I was lucky to have my kids in a small town school where most of the teachers have the same values and we still have prayer and the pledge in school. Heck, we have the MC-ROTC in our high school and graduate some of he finest Marines with full-ride scholarships every year.
    The thing is, we can’t let these Marxists keep our children in a captive audience so thy can fill their heads full of mush. We need cameras in the classroom so that we know what thy are really teaching them..

      Opinion for over 100+ years many Christians cooperated with pagan socialist progressives by sending their children to be taught indoctrinated and molded by pagan secularist schools; at earliest years socialist craft programs to group Mob behavior, thinking, and conditioning but deceived parents consider not that youth are being bent and formed to socialism ideas and thinking. Progressives’ pushed corralled kids into this then shoved by required by laws and Taxing all so if child did not go to public school parents still have to pay then pay twice more for private teaching; they destroyed trades by corporate grabbing patent laws then did away with apprentices requiring degree to work profession or get license; they used unions to block advancement by ability and stifle hard work; then they strip away by nafta manufacturing job, software jobs, load down small individual business owners with large costly regulations. Large part of taxes are public schools; even in suburbs of Detroit Subtracting from Net Equity of 20 year mortgage(even if not mortgaged at pre2008 value but current 40% of 2007 value) at current new low house tax assessment, Equity can easy still be negative or Loss yearly. In such economics double paying for education and or forgoing one parent’s income to home school right is major hardship. But progressive have been aim at regulating away this, & hidden rig hiring methods; public school=pagan indoctrination.

      Bill Ayers sits there in his Chairman Mao hat and completely forgets to mention that LBJ cast the deciding vote to NOT pass the Civil Rights Act when he was in Congress before he was POTUS. It was when he was gone that Congress was finely able to pass it and get it to the WH.
