Straight Christian Author Tells TheBlaze Why He Lied & Lived as a ‘Gay’ Man for One Year

Christian author Tim Kurek sparked intrigue in the summer of 2012 when he announced his first book project, “Jesus in Drag.” Recognizing that the title was a bit too inflammatory, he inevitably changed it to, “The Cross in the Closet” and released the literary work this fall.

The story told within its pages details his very personal journey after willingly giving himself the “gay” label for a year, telling every person close to him that he had same-sex attraction (he’s actually straight). TheBlaze interviewed Kurek to learn more about his fascinating social experiment — one that has profoundly changed his life.

Growing up in a household that had an overwhelming negative view of homosexuality, Kurek said that he saw the gay community as the “worst of what sin had to offer.” However, years later, finding himself emotionally impacted by a gay friend’s story, he decided to do the unthinkable.

Kurek pretended that he was gay and then observed societal reactions over the course of a year. The experiment was so personally profound that he subsequently decided to write about his experiences in an effort to show others how being labeled a homosexual impacts many facets of a person’s life.

“The project’s not about being gay. I’m not gay,” Kurek told TheBlaze. “I could never do that and experience that — but I could see the externals of the labels.”

Participating in this project was a monumental task. Not only did the author have to figure out the best way to “come out” to family members, but he also needed to convince everyone in his life that he was gay. Additionally, he had to balance this quest with assuring that he didn’t hurt anyone in the LGBTQ community.

To keep order, while also convincing those around him of his faux-sexuality, Kurek brought three key individuals into the loop. His best friend, Josh, was able to connect to his family and report back regarding how they were handling his newfound “coming out” behind his back. Then, his mother’s best friend was cued in so that, in the event that his mom couldn’t handle his sexuality, the friend could act as a “kill switch.”

And finally, the author convinced an acquaintance to pose as his boyfriend throughout the process, as he didn’t want to allow anyone to legitimately develop feelings for him (he told the individual about his plans). The entire process was intense, as Kurek followed it through in literally every aspect of his life.

“I remember when I came out to my brother and his wife…I was so unnerved by the entire experience of it that I excused myself and went out to their back deck,” he told TheBlaze. “It was so emotionally unnerving to go into this experience and to cross that point of no return — but it was a necessary thing to do.”

Kurek discussed “The Cross in the Closet” on ABC’s “The View” back in October:

Some would naturally question why Kurek felt the need to take the experiment so far. He claims that he was compelled to understand what being labeled “gay” does to an individual. Since he was already limited in his understanding due to his heterosexuality, he felt that he needed to delve deeply into this scenario in order to get as close as possible to a realistic experience.

The experiment, which he conducted throughout 2009, has long been concluded, but its impact has forever changed him. Despite his strict upbringing and his past views on the purported evils of homosexuality, he now considers himself an ally of the gay community and his opinions about homosexuality and sin have evolved as well.

“I don’t believe that being gay is a sin. I don’t believe that acting on being gay is a sin,” Kurek said. “I believe that sexuality is kind of like a weapon. You can use it for good or use it for bad.”

Prior to completing the task, Kurek had no idea just how closely he would connect with the gay community, as he had never spent a substantial amount of time with gays and lesbians. This, too, has changed; Kurek maintains friendships with some of the people he met during the process.

“There’s so much pain and such a struggle going on in that community in terms of religion, in terms of politics,” Kurek told TheBlaze.

Many Christians, of course, would reject these sentiments, dismissing the author’s views as too liberal or Biblically unsound. But Kurek noted that he has read the holy book “at least a dozen times” and that his library is filled with books about apologetics and with commentaries.

“I know what peoples’ criticisms of me are. I know that I make some statements that aren’t kosher,” he added.

Contrary to what many might assume, Kurek described himself as “very conservative” in the personal standards he has for his own life. As for sex, he plans to wait until marriage to partake. While he has a progressive strain on some issues, he applies the Bible very literally to his life.

Following his experiment, some of his closest family members have actually joined him in becoming allies. His brother and sister-in-law, while “still very conservative in their politics and in their faith” have had their eyes opened as a result, he contended.

“The people who were in my life during the experiment — I didn’t have a single negative reaction…about the experiment or about the fact that I had lied,” the author told TheBlaze.

Based on his account, the experience as well as the subsequent book project helped Kurek to see people for who they are rather than identifying them by their labels. Instead is differentiating individuals by categories such as atheists, gays, Republicans and similar groups, he encouraged Americans to “look at people as people.”

Interestingly, Kurek was also very accommodating to those with whom he disagrees. In fact, he defended peoples’ rights to believe that homosexuality is, in fact, sinful. While he made this point, he also noted that he doesn’t want those individuals who embrace such a notion to “be a jerk about it.” He also warned his fellow Christians to beware — that there may be a time when they find themselves relating all-too-well to the gay community.

“There may come a time when Christians have their rights taken away from them,” he noted. “And they will realize how much it sucks.”

Well, I still give him props for having the courage to put himself into someone else s shoes and do this. I’m also very glad he was questioning his ideas and what he had been taught. The problem however is that instead of moving away from what he was taught, to think he was better than a gay person, it was the ultimate sin and they are the enemy, he moved to the other end of “it’s perfectly ok.”

Sadly, people seem to think that you must be on one end of the extremes—you either hate gay people and think it’s the worst thing ever, or you love them and accept what they do. What happened to the teachings of the Bible? The things Jesus taught…like loving everyone doesn’t mean you have to accept or agree with or think what they do is right. Too much of a “feel good, anything goes” kinda society we live in. Sure, no one likes to be told (even in kindness and love) what they are doing is wrong..but you can’t stop preaching the truth for the sake of people’s feelings.

Now, many people will comment on how a loving God accepts everybody, the “what the Bible really means”, and the “don’t judge, lest you be judged” crowed will go all out to defend homosexuality.

Here is some insider info for you.

When Christ returns He will not come as a sheep to be sacrificed again. He will come with a flaming sword, to JUDGE those who thought they know better. He will Judge those who shake their fist at Him and say, I decide what is right and what is not. He will clean house, my friends.
By the way we are told to use sound judgment.

      1 Corinthians 6:2-3
      2) Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3) Do yo not know that we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain to this life.

      1 Thessilonians 5:21
By all means use your judgment, hold on to what is good.

Just to mention a couple of examples.

      Read Revelation and tremble!

..reminds me of the story of Dustin Hoffman’s when making The Running Man…in a big scene with Sir Laurence Olivier , Hoffman stayed up all weekend,no eating, sleeping, shower etc., to appear like the victim of days of torture by the evil Nazi Dr…Hoffman told Olivier what he had done to prepare for the scene, Olivier said..” try acting son, it’s so much easier.”…I hope Kurek doesn’t develop an interest in suicide victims. I wonder why he didn’t just become friends with some gay folks, be honest with them and gain their trust and tell their stories…might have better than his phony one.

Alas, by the end… participating in homosexual relations is still a sin. I’m sorry he didn’t realixe that… but I am glad that he got to realize what being part of an oppressed minority is like. Much like the adulterers in our society who divorce and remarry, now he knows what living in sin is like in an extremely judgmental society, and can realize that despite a sin people can ultimately be good!

I don’t care what he thinks, the Bible is clear on homosexuality. While every man and woman has their own right to choose it doesn’t mean that it is right in God’s eyes. Your opinion does not trump God’s just because you are brainwashed by political correctness.

      Romans 1:21-28

21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
      28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

I really don’t know why the Blaze continues to do these “sympathetic” to sodomites type pieces. The fact is that the normalize homosexuality and all manner of perversion is the work of Communists who set up the Mattechine Society. Now ask yourself why would communists want to promote homosexuality?

Marx was at WAR with God and Capitalism. The purpose is coming against God ordained having a father as priest of his household, nurturer, provider, defender and discipliner bringing his children up in the admonition of the Lord. But the agenda is to create a society so morally bankrupt and dependent on cradle to grave government care that not only do they want it, they are so dumbed down they can’t survive without it.

Fabians, Frankfurt School, Antonio Gramsci, Mattenchine Society, Alinski, Committees of Correspondence. If you don’t know who they all are and how this all fits together

I’m not sure how gay people are denied their rights in America. Most people don’t care if someone is gay, they just don’t want to hear about it; just like most people don’t want to hear about a straight person’s sexual activity. As for the marriage issue, gays have the right to form unions, it’s just not right to remake a tradition into what you want it to be; name it something else. None of us are liked by everybody, it’s just part of life that not everyone is going to accept and like you, gay or straight.

Not all believers in Jesus think the Book of the Torah (instructions, teachings) are outdated. They do follow the dietary instructions. The thing is that most of the instructions can only be applied while leaving in a Theocracy in the land of Israel. Not all instructions apply to all people, some are for judges, others for priests that work in the Temple (which is not there right now). Not even the Jews in Israel can’t follow everything.

I believe in a day where there will be a Theocracy and it will rule from Israel, it will be a time of Justice and True Peace.

“According to Christian theologian Gordon J. Wenham, the purpose of kashrut was to help Jews maintain a distinct and separate existence from other peoples; he says that the effect of the laws was to prevent socialization and intermarriage with non-Jews, preventing Jewish identity from being diluted”

Jewish laws are for Jews not Christians. Christians adhere to the new testament. The dietary laws were for the Jews not Christians.

The laws on mixed cloth was a Jewish law to set apart the priests form others. Again, most here are Christian & use the New Testament.

Maybe you can go to wikipedia & if you read slowly & several times over, you might get it this time.

Please read Acts 15. This issue with Gentile believers was addressed very early in Church history.

It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.

There is a huge difference between recognizing your own sin and trying to live a more Godly life, as opposed to believing that there is no such thing as sin and doing as you please. For instance, I can know that drinking to excess is a sin, recognize that I drink too much and try to drink less. But, I do not deny that excessive drinking is a sin. Your logic has serious flaws.

Yes, some Christians keep the actual sabbath and adhere to the Laws as set forth in the Torah.

“Of all the Ten Commandments, the fourth one, pertaining to the Sabbath, is expounded in greater detail, utilizing more words and space (in the English language), than any of the other commandments. The Second Commandment, which forbids idolatry, is almost as detailed. These two commandments are the very ones that organized Christianity most blatantly violates. The Roman Catholics have claimed the authority to change the Sabbath to the first day of the week, while sanctioning idolatry in many forms. The Protestants have blindly followed their lead on both of these issues.

Jesus Christ kept the Sabbath, as did the original apostles and the Church of God through the centuries. The weekly seventh-day Sabbath was commanded to be kept forever and will be kept by all humanity in the coming Millennium. “

      @KEATONC33

First off, you’re not supposed to hate anyone, so if some people take it to mean that then they haven’t read the Bible.

Yes, Jesus said that. It was in Matt 19. I’ll paraphrase…

this rich dude who has tons of money, houses, stuff etc comes up to Jesus and says yo Jesus, I’ve been doing all these good things following all the commandments, but what else do I need to do to get into the kingdom of heaven? Jesus is like, you got a lot of stuff? A lot of money and houses? Guys like yeah. Jesus says ok, go sell all of your stuff and come chill with me; that will allow you to join the kingdom. The guy is like no way, and walks away sad and upset.

Many people take this to mean God only allows poor people (or those who don’t have) into heaven or he hates for Christians to have money. Not so. Jesus was testing his heart to see if he was detached from his things (the things of this world). The message was simple: don’t be attached to the things of this world or you won’t be able to follow Jesus. If I’m holding on to people, money, cars, etc, how could I ever give my life to Jesus (follow him).

I sit here, and watch people read the so-called “Ten Commandments” and wonder if they ever read Exodus 34. (where the Ten Commandments are explicitly referenced). I don’t believe they have, or else they would realize that the “Ten Commandments” refer to an entirely separate set of laws than the ones they reference.

Jesus left us a new commandment. The others are suggestions, not Law.

@Keaton, when you read on in the Bible, you see that Jesus said it would be very hard for a rich man, but then follows that nothing is impossible with God. It could be an obcession with money or your motorcycle. The focus should be on LOVE and forgiveness. Yes, Keaton, we are ALL sinners in His eyes, made clean only by His blood. We will all stand in judgement individually.

@Keaton – The “Eye of the Needle” was in reference the the small door next to the city gates. It is what they called the door and it was used at night, leaving the city gates open was to dangerous. The only way to get a camel through it was to remove any cargo it might be carrying. So you see Jesus was simply saying that for a rich man to pass into heaven he must be willing to make sacrifices.

      @KEATONC33

      Why thank you.

I figured that’s what you were getting at.

The laws in the OT (except for the 10 commandments) were for the Jews (the children of Israel), not for us Christians. The reason some quote LEV about being gay is because homosexuality is talked about in the NT. If it’s mentioned in the NT (a command to Christians) then it must be followed. I know people debate if the NT really condemns homosexuality, but that’s why they also mention that verse in LEV.

Of course it was. Otherwise, how would the earth populate? God created what was necessary and natural for Adam and Eve. He also created animals as males and females, and yet…so many species exhibit homosexual behaviors:

      Lions
      Bison
      Dogs
      Chimps
      Giraffes
      Orca
      Owls
      Penguins
      Snakes
      Turtles
      Frogs
      Butterflies
      Weevils

I could go on and on, and that’s just what man has observed up to this point.

Now why would God, who created animals to populate just as He did humans, put a natural variance in a small percentage of all those animals? Can animals sin? If homosexuality is a sin, they certainly do I suppose.

But humans are not animals. They are supposed to behave better than that. Animals kill each other for no reason. They rape. They steal. They quarrel over territories and dominance. Oh…wait…so do humans.

Difference being some people are born with extreme and undeniable homosexual tendencies, and unless you want to tell God he made a mistake, you’d better rethink your cutesy and impotent slogan. See God created Adam and Eve, but he created Steve too.

@James – It is called a birth defect. Animals have them and so do humans. These aren’t caused by ‘God making a mistake’. If you want to acknowledge that having homosexual tendencies is a birth defect, I can find common ground. Some people are more likely to be alcoholics because of genetics. Does that mean they are free to get hammered because they were born that way? Of course not.

Most gays choose that lifestyle and or not born that way. They try to justify their sin using the birth defect claim (while refusing to admit it is a birth defect). No I was born that way, and therefore, I can do whatever I want.

All this proves is that the couplet about human nature that Alexander Pope wrote 300 years ago is still true: “Vice is a monster of so frightful mien, As to be hated needs but to be seen; Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face, we first endure, then pity, then embrace”

There are no “rights” that homosexuals are denied. Typical liberal mindset … all emotion and no reason. Get to be friends with a few people, and decide it’s easier to be accepting of their sins and lies than to hold fast to your own beliefs.

Why then, when Jesus came did he say that all things were permissible when blessed by Him? Why did He spend so much time explaining to His disciples and the Pharisees that they were no longer bound by the old law? Why did HE never mention homosexuality, even in ancient Rome where it was widely practiced? Why is any mention of same sex couplings in the New Testament talking about specific instances instead of condemning the act as a whole?

How do you define manliness? I’ve never heard anyone say that being a leader, being strong, or being a provider is negative.

If you define manliness as being superior to women, as being worth more than women, as getting to make derogatory terms with impunity, as deserving to make more than women, as thinking ignorance is a virtue, and as being forgiven when you (or even expected to) harm others, then I say “Good, we don’t need that kind of BS.”

I do, though, appreciate that the gay community is full of pain and rejection. It is full of unfair treatment based on prejudice. Sin is sin and universal. Prejudice and vilification are terrible sins. None of us have a right to treat others badly because of our own value systems. This was a powerful act on this man’s part and I commend him for it.

Anyone will have a very hard time unequivocally proving that homosexuality is a sin based on the original text of the New Testament. There are numerous modern and not so modern translations that misinterpret what Paul said. I would encourage anyone who cares about truth, not just ingrained opinion, to look up the original Greek and the literal translations and then put in into context of the culture to whom he was writing. Once you’ve done that with the whopping TWO mentions that it gets in the NT and you see that it really isn’t very clear, then go and read all the verses about LOVE and ACCEPTANCE and see how clear the Bible is on THAT subject. Finally, now that you’ve actually done the research instead of talking out of your hind end on the Internet, ask yourself what concerns God more: Judging someone for their sexuality, or loving someone regardless.

But when I studied it out, I found that Paul never talks about homosexuals as a group of people or homosexuality as an act. If you want to rely o. What someone else’s translation of what Paul said is, then you can make the argument, but if you read the original text, you’d be stretching at best.

GREENEYES1982, I would like to point out that the King James Version is not the original, nor always a literal translation of the scriptures. It’s pretty good, but can be unclear in some areas. When I learned to get past that (I was raised in a KJV 1611 or nothing church and family) and realize that it’s best to go to the original language and literal translation, my understanding of God’s Word and Who He is was made a lot clearer. Luckily the internet makes that a relatively easy process.

Let me translate for you: effeminate is translated from the word “malakoi”, which means “soft”. In the original text “malakoi” is used six other times in scriptures, always referring to someone being without backbone, without conviction, vain and self-indulged. If you want to break with that and say he clearly mean “gay” even though it breaks with the rest of the Bible, good luck with your conscience on that one!

The next phrase: “nor abusers of themselves with mankind” comes from the very rarely used word “arsenokoitai”. Scholars still struggle with the true meaning of this word, but a literal translation of the two root words is “”bed” and “male”. Hardly a bullet proof argument that it means “males having sex with each other”, especially when you study the contexts in which you find the word used in other places. From other texts and references, most language scholars guess it means males who aggressively force sex.

So you still think it’s crystal cle

I think it’s very clear homosexual activity is a sin. But hey, it’s your faith to believe or disbelieve as you will. Doesn’t change the fact that homosexuals are no worse than those who remarry after divorce or those who who live together but aren’t married.

Two points on some of the responses James got though
      1) The KJV is an awful, awful translation if you want to get the actually meaning of the original texts. No one should ever seriously use it to argue the meaning of a biblical passage.
      2) Not all Christians are Catholic, and even most Catholics don’t consider the pope to be infallible. Using a mortal man halfway across the globe living in the lap of luxury as a guide for “moral behavior” rings hollow for most Christians.

Show me where “God” and/or Jesus said that, according to the Bible. Also, remember that these quotes from Jesus were written down decades after he said them. So how accurate can they be?

The way I read the statement above is that you’re not going to heaven if you masturbate (self abuse).
Those people believed that babies were contained in the sperm, and the womb was just a nest…an incubator if you will. So they thought that masturbation resulted in the death of unborn babies. Even so, it says “better to spill thy seed in the belly of a whore then upon the ground.”

So my question is why not take the essential message of Jesus, which is “Love” and go with that. Where does it say to hate people who are in those categories? It does not. God will take care of them by not letting them into heaven.

You have to think for yourselves.

Mark my words, once everyone is numb to sexual orientation, the pedophiles will be the next on the list of perverts crying for their own acceptance. Perhaps, Tim will need to become a faux pedophile so that he can better understand what is is like to live that way. Maybe even make a few books about it while passing himself off as a Christian.

“I don’t believe that being gay is a sin. I don’t believe that acting on being gay is a sin,” Kurek said. “I believe that sexuality is kind of like a weapon. You can use it for good or use it for bad.”
    ***
So if I commit adultery it is not a sin? Why why did I not think of that?

Does Kurek have a church? I want to join LOL

Tomorrow at church we will discuss why incest is best.

    /sarc off

All this faulty reasoning to come to terms with the gay community on their terms.

“So if I commit adultery it is not a sin?…”
      The NT states it is.
The NT also repeatedly states two people married under god (two believers) may never divorce or remarry , but for prostitution, incest or bestiality. But the church hardly address that do they.

But the NT also does address same sex relationships.
      Romans 1: 24+
In it if you read the NIV you read something that clearly states NO ****. Just as the NIV talks of Virgins, Killing, and fortification . WHEN THE BIBLE ACTUALLY STATES young women, murder, and prostitution (including adultery and incest). But hey whats the point of correctly translating the jesus’ words.
Oh by the way here is roman 1 “26By this, God granted / allowed / recommended them into passions/affections of dishonor (contrary to secular law), the both for their females changing the natural use into the un-natural; 27and, similarly also the males leaving the natural use of the females inflamed in their appetites / excitements for each other, males with males, the unseemly / unsightly / awkwardness / disfigurement / shamed / disgraced workings; and, the reward was necessary (as binding) / needful / right / proper of their cause to wander (random irregularity / variation) in themselves receiving / enjoying. 28And even as/how not allowed/not approved as fit, to keep God in full discernment, God granted / delivered / allowed / recommended them unto unapproved intellect, to bring about the non-agreeings / non-fittings.
      Its u

If that nut job thinks that being gay is not a sin then neither is bestiality or marrying a parent or sibling.

He is not and never will be a Christian. Jude 6-7 is very clear that all whom seek strange flesh will be thrown into the eternal lake of fire. Jude 6-7 is a direct link between Genesis 6:1-2 and Sodom and Gomorrah and those that seek strange flesh (homosexuality and angels mating with human women)

      I was kidding.

But logically speaking if homosexuality acts or not a sin then adultery is not. It is a matter of logic.

Now I know that Kurek is wrong & homosexual acts are wrong as is adultery.

      @AMARAT01

      Romans 1:26
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

The words VILE PASSION should give you a clue, so should women behaved AGAINST NATURE.

To think that this verse is an OK from God to behave in homosexual behaviour just shows your ignorance of God’s Word.

God gave us three different witnesses of His existence. One within, it is called a conscience, nature which we see outside of us and His Word the Bible.

I wonder if you even know what you are talking about in the first place.

You obviously have no understanding what God was doing when He hardened Pharaoh’s heart. He gave up on him, because of his repeated refusal to obey.

That is what Romans 1:26 means.

When gays refuse over and over to give up on their sinful life style God gives them what they want. To be left alone. God is a forgiving God, when asked, but do not confuse forgiveness with approval. And by the way this does not only apply to gays. This is how it is with every sin.

If you would continue reading in verse 27 God has this to say.

“Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving IN THEMSELVES the penalty of their error which was due.”

Do you have any idea what a SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED disease is?

“Sodom and Gomorrah and those that seek strange flesh (homosexuality and angels mating with human women)”

Oh for goodness’s sake. Sodom and Gomorrah weren’t destroyed because of homosexuality. Ezekiel 16:49-50 makes it clear why they were destroyed: the people were overall just bad people. “arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.”

“I don’t believe that being gay is a sin. I don’t believe that acting on being gay is a sin,” Kurek said. In both statements, he is admiting that he thinks in relative terms.. The Bible is clearly understandable concerning homosexuality. It is an abomination of God’s purpose for a man and a woman. Those who persist in denying the Bible by questioning it, are only deceiving themselves.

(Gal 6:7 NASB) “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.”

I think your missing the point! I like you believe the Bible’s inerrancy. However look at it this way; If we are not going to run our country in accordance with the 10 commandments, then why be hypocrites and pick and choose!! JESUS hates a hypocrite!! A man explained it this way one day and if your honest with yourself its true for the most part!!

“There may come a time when Christians have their rights taken away from them,” he noted. “And they will realize how much it sucks.”

Classy, intelligent comment…what rights does gayness inherently hold that have been “taken away”?

Yes but Homosexuals have civil union in most if not all states. Further more state have gay marriage. Soon it will be all. That leaves gay adoption. Many state already have that & have ran out the Catholic Church in a rail.

But gays will still be unhappy. there was the story about the military wives club. A lesbian wife was unhappy that other military spouses did not accept her. Gays will never be happy.

How about this for math “TOP_CONTRIBUTOR” or is it “FREE_THOUGHT”?

According to the CDC over 64% of new HIV cases in this country each year are attribted to homosexuals who make up less than 2% of the population. This is an over-representation of nearly 3000%. Can you tell me why I should accept homosexuality as “normal” and “safe” and tell my children not to be wary of it in light of those numbers? You want to talk about “subtraction”…you homosexuals are doing a great job of subtracting your own numbers.

Spare me your pious non-sense troll. You hate the ugly and dangerous side of homosexuality being exposed because Gay Inc. has spent decades trying to portray homosexuality as something that’s tantamount to being left-handed.

Excuse me Top, but your response is absurd. Babci made a good point whether you choose to agree with her or not. In our current society in this country, a person choosing to life their life as a homosexual has not had any of the rights that we all have as American citizens “taken away”. Name just one.

The word sane come from the Latin word sanus meaning healthy.

“According to the CDC over 64% of new HIV cases in this country each year are attribted to homosexuals who make up less than 2% of the population. This is an over-representation of nearly 3000%”

Gays are unhealthier than straights. Gays want us to accept this to be like them to be unhealthier to be insane.
