Mom of Sandy Hook Child Victim Shares Daughter’s ‘Message From Beyond the Grave’ in Incredibly Moving CNN Interview
Grace McDonnell was one of the 20 children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School this month. As her parents are grieving the loss of their bright-eyed, seven-year-old daughter, they can take at least some solace in a sign of comfort that she left behind.
Grace was known for leaving messages on the family’s bathroom window — notes and symbols that would show up once fog clouded the room from shower steam. And the day after her death, seemingly on cue, one of these notes appeared to her mother.

On the first day without her daughter, Lynn McDonnell said that the message on the window was a peace sign, Grace’s favorite symbol. Above it were the words, “Grace, Mom.” CNN was moved to call the family’s finding “a message from beyond the grave.”
“I looked and there was her peace sign in the window and I was like, ‘That’s a sign from my Grace,’” Lynn said.Β ”She was all about peace and gentleness and kindness.”
Lynn described her daughter as immensely happy, claiming, “She was just the light and love of our family.”

Posted on December 25, 2012 at 5:42amYes something has changed in the world, especially in America – because America was different:
Agenda to separate us from our Judeo/Christian roots. Our Founders knew that only a moral and biblically literate people could handle the freedoms of our Republic Representative form of government. Freedom without morality destroys. There is so much filth and depravity it is just background noise. So much of what is acceptable today would horrify our Founders that we have sunk so low. When I grew up there we had God in schools and prayer and 10 Commandments. Not not the filth that is not only accepted but fought for the right to…
This is by design of a cadre of intellectuals

Posted on December 25, 2012 at 6:07amJust a note on observation – I believe those parents are sincere – the father hides his pain less successfully, the mother is trying to process. I don’t think there is anything sinister in their grieving. It is an unspeakable tragedy to parents to lose a child – that turns upside down the natural order – parents are supposed to die first – but when not only do you lose a child but lose a child in such a unexpected and horrific way you are in shock mode, grieving will come in waves as you try to make sense of the senseless. I pray for all the families marred and scared by this tragedy.
This shooting is tragic on so many levels, my heart just breaks for what the intellectuals who wanted to destroy a Judeo/Christian country from within have wrought. When I grew up we had prayer in schools and no massacres. But the godless left that wants to replace God with big government as Marx hated God and have twisted everything and society is coming apart just like they wantedβ¦Destroy the family β replace with government
Knowledge is power see how it all fits together and connect the dots.
This is the most comprehensive, best movie I have seen pulling all this together. Watch it. Share it.

Posted on December 25, 2012 at 11:52amMaybe many of you have never been through a tragic event before. Your statements are horribly judgmental. Everyone experiences grief in their own way. It is likely many of these parents are still in shock. This poor woman wants to express something kind and good about her child-which may be the only thing holding her together right now– and these are the kinds of responses you make? Her baby is dead. It is NOT your place to judge her. You have no idea what she experiences in private or how she behaves. And if any of you claim to be Christians, shame on you.

My Father died of cancer & I had several months to prepare for it…. I did his eulogy sobbing & shaking and even to this day 3 years later I cry when talking about him. This folks must be in shock or something , cuz if it were either one of my 2 kids…. I’d be inconsolable & probably unavailable for comment (if U know what I mean)

Posted on December 24, 2012 at 9:00pmVery hard to believe parents of a slained child could possibly muster such aplomb only days after a beloved daughter is murdered. Smiling and casually chatting with a reporter. By being so laid back and seemingly calm, cool, and collected, are they giving potential murderers some kind of tacit permission to keep up the carnage? Can their faith in God and the hereafter be so unshakably strong? Somehow the interview seems a bit disingenuous and untimely.

From THE REPORTER
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
You know, it dawned on me the other day: In November, a week prior to the election, a rare event occurred. A hurricane hit the North Eastern coast of the United States in the winter. Some say this was a twist of fate that helped Mr. Obama win the election.
Then just recently, a mass murder occurred which may end up in the ban of assault weapons or worse. The incredible part of all of this is that the hurricane that hit the North East was called SANDY and the school that suffered the massacre was called SANDY.
In the scheme of things how likely that two horrible events such as these would have the same name when you consider there are thousands of women’s names? Some say horrible coincidence, I say a demonic force of evil. And it all makes sense if you get the deeper meaning.

—–
Where is the peace that the Prince of Peace was supposed to bring on that first Christmas? As you look around the world, the landscape is filled with turmoil, disaster, wars between nations and wars within hearts and you ask, βWhere is the peace that was promised over 2,000 years ago?β
Every Christmas, we hear the story of the angels announcing the good news of peace. Yet, each succeeding year, we seem to have less peace than the year before.
Although there are many things that people mislabel as peace, the angels are proclaiming a divine peace with God that can only come through Jesus Christ. When you have peace with God through grace by faith in Jesus Christ, you will have peace of mind, heart and conscience. You will have peace with others, your environment and the world.
When you have peace with God, you will also be peaceful like Jesus, the One who slept soundly in the middle of the storm. Jesus, the One who was at peace while the whole world was panicking. Jesus, the One who was peaceful in His crucifixion. Jesus, the One who was peaceful in His resurrection.
When you have divine peace, you will not have a problem-free life. What you will have is peace in the midst of your problemsβa peace that surpasses all understanding. Only Jesus Christ can give you that peace.
May the peace of the Lord be always with you and may you and your family have a Merry

obama is a cold fish with political agendas.
The peace sign feels fabricated.
No one will question a grieving mother. I worked with a mother who lost a child, everyone allowed her to use that loss, to not do her job. It is a narcissistic world.
This just doesn’t feel honest. It feels fabricated to set up for another purpose.
