Appearing on Fox News Thursday, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said President Barack Obama has successfully broken the will of Republicans in the House and has created an “internal civil war” amidst “fiscal cliff” negotiations.
“He’s been using this, and I must say with great skill — and ruthless skill and success — to fracture and basically shatter the Republican opposition,” Krauthammer said. “His objective from the very beginning was to break the will of the Republicans in the House, and to create an internal civil war. And he’s done that.”
He said Obama has been pressuring Republicans to consider increasing tax rates ever since he got reelected because he knew it could create tension within the GOP. Krauthammer added that Obama would rather score a political victory than actually deal with the out-of-control national debt.
But all-in-all, he explained, Obama will be “remembered as a failed president.”

Dec. 28, 2012 at 6:00amI have to admit the GOP leaders are most responsible. They withheld campaign money from decent conservatives, did everything they could do to suppress them within the party and strong armed all the newly elected members in 2010 to make sure they towed the GOP corrupt leadership line. The fact that the ‘Kraut’ as you say does not see this indicates He along with a long line of old has been GOP members and commentators needs to go as well. You can see the lineup of these commentators in the typical crew Fox brings out to speak on all things GOP. For a while now Mark Levin has been calling them out by name and saying they need to fade away before nothing is left of the GOP, or said differently before you can no longer tell the difference between the two parties. Oh wait, too late.

Dec. 28, 2012 at 3:04amI pray for the few “good” conservatives that are caught between Communists/Islamists on the one side and Rinos on the other. They are both the same without allegiance to the Constitution. They do not serve “we the people”, they rule. I pray for the American spirit that has open eyes and ears and have been screaming out STOP, ENOUGH and praying to G-d for common sense to be restored to no avail. The TV media and the Education System are infected with far left propaganda and have destroyed American values and culture to the point that tyranny is accepted. The GOP/RNC destroyed itself in national elections when it signed the CONSENT DECREE. The only way to win is if hoards of white people move into minority neighborhoods to tip back to balance; or if when whites become the minority they can legally claim “minority status” which the left will never allow because by then they will come up with some other claim. The left has utter and complete control all they know it. The only real chance is if Americans all become Americans again. One Nation Under G-d indivisible. Under 0 we have lost Liberty and Justice for ALL; it is now for the favored few. The game is rigged. It is a Shakespearean Tragedy of epic proportions and It’s cruel and masochistic to watch and not cringe in horror. There is enough evidence to Impeach; they could at the least TRY.

We are no longer recognized as individual human beings with opinions (and the opinions we have make so much more sense that these MORONS!). Let me explain… I do not classify myself as either a democrat or a republican. I have extremely strong opinions and ideas that neither side would like. The democrats and republicans are so busy doing whatever it is they do, that they have forgotten the AMERICANS for which they are supposed to represent. Hence, we have a government EXTREMELY OUT OF CONTROL… And we pay their SALARIES. I say it’s time for TAX PAYERS to STOP!! Didn’t we become AMERICANS so that government wouldn’t do this to us again?

I’d much rather register as Conservative or Tea Party, but either one would probably draw a lot away from the dems too, since so many are waking up to the fact their party has gone so radical. We need to watch, if boehner maintains his speakership and continues to punish those repubs who keep their campaign promise not to vote a raise in taxes, it’ll be time to form that new party.

But if we must see this as a new thing — a decision on both sides that we need to rid the GOP of the others — then I say GOOD! Kick out the RINOs. They’ve brought us down to defeat with McCain, now Romney, and it’s just utterly stupid. They don’t represent the vast majority of America, nor their own base (us).
And to win it, we need to “man up” (and woman up :P) and teach WHY we’re right and they’re wrong at every opportunity from now on. Actually spread conservatism rather than just hoping it’s still not completely eroded away by engrained tradition. Reverse the trend towards liberalism etc. Only way the GOP comes out successful in the end.
