Al Sharpton: Next Up, Knife Control
Rev. Al Sharpton told a radio caller that it could be time for knife legislation in addition to gun laws.
“In any civilized society you do not see massacres continue to happen, from Tucson to Aurora to Columbine to Virginia Tech to where we are now in Newtown to Chicago and you keep the same laws when clearly they’re not working,” the MSNBC host said on his radio show Friday.
“What happens when the criminal goes to knives, Al?” the caller asked.
“Then you deal with knives,” Sharpton replied. “The same thing as if you have a head cold and the same thing you do if you have a head cold and the cold is gone and you have a headache. Then you take headache medicine. The job of society is to deal with whatever problem confronts it.”

Do you think Al knows that in America, blacks make up 12.5% of the population, but are doing half of the nation’s murders. If we lowered black murder rates to the same as whites, we would lower the nation’s murder rate by almost 40% and save a whole lot of black lives.
The libs are about their agenda. Saving black lives is not important to them. Check the location of where libs place abortion clinics, and see how many innocent black babies are dying daily to the lib murder machine.

The Rev. should also ban car & trucks since they are the # 1 cause of death. GM, Ford, Chrysler can make just electric buses and like China we can all ride a bike. The old can ride a bus or have special electric mini buses for the elderly.Here in S. Oklahoma we have Call-A-Ride and foe $.25 you can ride to Post Office or Wal-mart. Our local Taxi’s all went out of business. Can you imagine how money can be saved by not buying fuel? Death by Guns & knives is almost zilch compared to death by car wrecks.

I haven’t checked that stat, but I’m pretty sure that more blacks are killed with guns by other blacks than anything else.
In a column by Pat Buchanan wherein he cites FBI stats:
“Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against other blacks.” Forty-five percent of the victims of violent crime by blacks are white folks, 43 percent are black, 10 percent are Hispanic.

Sharpton’s following the same logical path. The difference is, I’m using it as a tool to show how rediculous the phrase is and seems to want to ride the wave to ban everything up to and including toe nail clippings.

On the contrary…with all due respect…it is vitally important to read and learn what those who are a danger to our society are saying, because ignoring the words….then ignoring the violence and threats of violence…..would place us in a position of defenseless sheep waiting for the slaughter.
Too, ignoring the hate from those like Sharpton, the Black Panthers, Cornell West, Farrakhan, et al, won’t make it go away. It will, in fact, encourage more of it, which is EXACTLY what has caused the situation to accelerate as it has….at least in part. Hussein’s election upped the dangers many times over. I’m wondering to what degree his re-election is going to embolden Al, Farrakhan and others to increase their actions and rhetoric to greater levels of outrageousness.

Think these guys had to be former military or related because they used the word WE: “If we are stupid enough to send cops/troops to go door to door to remove weapons there will be tens of thousands of dead cops n troops. Anyone in uniform will become a target and the citizens will win by using the guerilla war-type models citizens in Afghanistan, Vietnam use(d) to beat US troops. Random acts of civilian armed uprising and random bombings coupled with the fear it creates shuts down the economy, too, because consumers decrease spending, unemployment rises to unimaginable levels ( Greece) . Think, just one car set on fire on California’s 405 or on any highway would stop traffic n people don’t get to work. Think of multiple car fires on highways in the big cities. Department store explosions and who wants to shop? Think of mayhem at basketball games using this scenario….who ever goes out to spend? A bullet thru any terminal window at Lax and the airport shuts. Any airport.” These guys went on but then it got too creepyand i left. Their focus was on shutting down the economy not hurting civilians. Pyrrhic victory is the final result.
