Planning on Cuddling Up by the Fireplace New Year’s Day? Not if You’re in San Francisco

Planning on Cuddling Up by the Fireplace New Years Day? Not if Youre in San FranciscoIn a city that has led some of the nation’s most stringent bans on everything from trans fat to smoking in public (and, not-so-public places) and then some, San Francisco has done it again, nixing one of the few festivities people of all walks enjoy on New Year’s day: cozying up by the fireplace.

Yes, even on the holidays, Bay Area “regulators” never seem to rest, issuing their first “Spare the Air” alert of the season which bans residents from lighting wood fireplaces and stoves on Tuesday.

According to weather reports, a cold, low-pressure weather system in from the West is perfect breeding ground for a stagnant, pollutant-trapping air.

“Current weather conditions are expected to allow air pollution to build up to unhealthy levels on New Year’s Day,” according to a written statement from Jack Broadbent, head of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

“Sitting by the fire during the holidays may conjure up fond memories, but it’s important that everyone forgoes burning during this alert so we can all enjoy a happy, healthy holiday.”

The system is could remain hovering over the Bay Area until the weekend, according to Mark Strudley, with the National Weather Service. “I don’t think there will be a lot of cloud cover.”

Temperatures are currently in the low 50s and high 40s, but a freeze warning has been issued for the area. The system will stay over the Bay Area until at least the weekend, Strudley said.

“There might be a very, very small chance of showers north of the Golden Gate in the later to midweek, but that’s pretty tentative,” Strudley said.

      Yes Johnny there use to be an America and then it was taken over by a group known as North America Pavement Apes. They demanded that society owed them and somehow brainwashed the general public into believing them. It was called Political Correctness and snowballed into every corner of American life. It was not long before everybody thought they were entitled to free stuff. They even elected a President to supply the free stuff for them by taking from those that worked. It didn’t take long before those that took outnumbered those that gave. The balance of the scales were tipped and we have been known as units of the Federation since then. All of us that once worked to become something in life have become slaves to the Federation. Here they come son .ALLEGIANCE TO THE FEDERATION

      You don’t have to comply.

      You people don’t even realize how powerful you are.

      I don’t know why you call these people Authorities.

      They are PUBLIC SERVANTS.

      More specifically, they are TRUSTEES of this ESTATE called the ‘United States’

      YOU, one of the “WE the PEOPLE” are the GRANTORS.

      TRUSTEES take orders from GRANTORS.

      WE the PEOPLE are also BENEFICIARIES.

      A TRUSTEE can NOT directly ORDER a Beneficiary or GRANTOR to do ANYTHING !!!!!!

      You people are waiving your rights, because you are not aware of them.

      YOU have MORE power than a JUDGE.
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzjv20sC5CY

      WHY ???? because he is a Public TRUSTEE and you are the Administrator of your own affairs (legal fiction, estate), and you are also a beneficiary to the ‘United States’ (Estate and the U.S. Corporation)

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      “Government is a trust, and the officers of the government are trustees. And both the trust and the trustees are created for the benefit of the people.”
      – Henry Clay
      (Henry Clay, Sr. (April 12, 1777 – June 29, 1852), was a lawyer, politician and skilled orator who represented Kentucky in both the Senate and in the House of Representatives. He served three different terms as Speaker of the United States House of Representatives and was also Secretary of State from 1825 to 1829. He lost his campaigns for president in 1824, 1832 and 1844.)
      ..this law has been in effect for at least 15 years…in America we elect people to make the laws and rules we all wish to live under…in a place call San Francisco, the people prefer smoke free air over fireplaces…which is what America is ALL about local control…which is why I fled CA and am enjoying my fireplace in Texas..and folks in SF and enjoying not having one..we’re all happy…cool…
      Stagnant Air, in Northern California, right next to that great big ocean. I lived near frisco while in the Air Force, and the one thing I noticed (being from Louisiana) is that there was always a breeze blowing. You want stagnant go hand out in New Orleans in August, yet you never hear that kind of complaining from those folks. They would freak out if they could see the “Bond Fire” my family and friends make on New Years Eve. “HAPPY NEW YEARS ONE AND All”
      Wow, you people have a lot of time on your hands. Worried about our air in SF? Really?
      Let me explain it to you crazy teabaggers.
      We no longer leave alone, far away from everybody else. WE live in communities now, and as such, what we do affects everybody around us. If you lived all alone in the Bay Area, go ahead, fire up the stoves and burn some toxic chemicals while you are at it. Nobody cares. Since we (in the Bay Area as well as most other cities) live close together in overcrowded urban areas, we can no longer live by a “do whatever you want”mindset. WE all have to consider others, and if certain times of the year the atmospheric conditions make it unwise to burn much because of the pollution concerns, then it makes sense to burn less for your own sake, but also for everybody that lives next to you. I did want to have a fire yesterday but couldn’t because of the “spare the air” warning. Oh, well. Guess I won’t. No big deal, we are not a communist nation now because I couldn’t burn in my fireplace. WE ALL have cleaner air and that is good so what it the problem? Your selfish attitudes and isolationism of “I will do whatever I want” do not bode well for the country and certainly makes you lousy neighbors if nothing else.
These charter members of the Lunatic Left have even recently passed a law saying that retail merchants cannot offer shopping bags to customers without charging them ten cents extra, prompting customers to fish old bags out of the garbage cans before they go shopping.     Never surrender, never give-up, seeking for the ‘good’. Let that be the word of the ‘day’ and the “motto” for 2013. Let the soul cease it’s complaint, and try to make the world around you, a better place to live, just by adjusting your attitude, if ‘you’ will do that, deliberately make that your goal this year, anyone coming into your presence will be lifted up. And should anyone ask you ‘how are you doing’? today! Exclaim to them this: If things were any better, I just couldn’t stand it! .. And watch their faces .. try it, use more humor, live life, for we will not pass this way again, be deliberately happy! make 2013 your year, and to “heck” with Obama and his crowd .. yep … let’s do it!
