Video: Rep. Darrell Issa Has Confidence In Boehner, But Not The Bill
It’s 6pm (ET) on Tuesday, January 1st and the U.S. Senate has officially “gaveled out” for the day. They are slated to return at noon on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Republican members of the House of Representatives assembled for a second New Year’s Day meeting to discuss the latest bill to solve the Fiscal Cliff approved by the Senate.
Before joining his colleagues in the meeting, Rep. Darrell Issa of California’s 49th District spoke with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer about the Senate bill, the chances for the bill to pass the House, and Issa’s support for Speaker John Boehner.

Image: CNN
One of Issa’s statements does not exactly send a positive message about the potential for the Senate bill to pass easily in the House.
“This bill in its present form is not good enough because it doesn’t deal with spending reduction in any way, shape, or form.”
Near the end of the interview, Blitzer asked Rep. Issa about his “confidence” in Speaker John Boehner. The Congressman’s reply:
I have confidence in the Speaker, he’s listening, he’s making the process open, but of course, that includes people like myself and leader Cantor, who say we’ve got to be open for change, and we want to see them.”
The abbreviated CNN interview is here.

Posted on January 1, 2013 at 9:01pmWE DID NOT JUST LOOSE AN ELECTION THAT WAS PROBABLY STOLEN FROM USE WE LOST OUR NATION TOO
All of us worked 24/7 to elect Congressman who promised to represent us and fight for conservatism by stopping the spending that to reduce the size of government. These people we elected now take pride and double crossing us, they take pride in how they tricked us.
1. They now plan to pass a bill in the House so that both the Senate and House versions can be passed in reconciliation session that cheats all of us and prevents justice.
2. We no longer have a representative government but a national fraud legalized by Courts of fraud. Even our Supreme Court twists the law into a pretzel to fit its agenda.
3. There is no going back. We must continue on our course until the necessity of secession is realized.

Posted on January 1, 2013 at 9:03pmWolf Blitzer is an idiot. Maybe he could pay attention to what’s important instead of the joke that Issa ran across his bow. This guy heard the joke about New Years Eve drinking, stopped listening to the meat of what Issa was getting at, waited with baited breath to ask him about his peers drinking. What a horse’s A$$ Blitzer is. This guy is a joke, you know, one of those hard reporters that really gets to the meat of the matter.
The guy is blaringly Liberal…

This case really happened.
On August 22, 1999, Tony Martin of Emneth, Norfolk , England
An uncontrolled government is a greater threat than kooks with guns.
You’re sound asleep when you hear a thump outside your bedroom door.
Half-awake, and nearly paralyzed with fear, you hear muffled whispers.
At least two people have broken into your house and are moving your way.
With your heart pumping, you reach down beside your bed and pick up your shotgun. You rack a shell into the chamber, then inch toward the door and open it. In the darkness, you make out two shadows.
One holds something that looks like a crowbar.
When the intruder brandishes it as if to strike, you raise the shotgun and fire.
The blast knocks both thugs to the floor. One writhes and screams while the
second man crawls to the front door and lurches outside.
As you pick up the telephone to call police, you know you’re in trouble.
In your country, most guns were outlawed years before, and the few
that are privately owned are so stringently regulated as to make them
useless.. . . . Yours was never registered.
Police arrive and inform you that the second burglar has died.
They arrest you for First Degree Murder and Illegal Possession
of a Firearm.
When you talk to your attorney, he tells you not to worry: authorities will probably plea the case down to manslaughter.
“What kind of sentence will I get?” you ask.
“Only ten-to-twelve years,” he replies, a

Posted on January 1, 2013 at 8:41pmas if that’s nothing. “Behave yourself, and you’ll be out in seven.”
The next day, the shooting is the lead story in the local newspaper. Somehow, you’re portrayed as an eccentric vigilante while the two men you shot are represented as choirboys. Their friends and relatives can’t find an unkind word to say about them.. Buried deep down in the article, authorities acknowledge that both “victims” have been arrested numerous times.
But the next day’s headline says it all:
“Lovable Rogue Son Didn’t Deserve to Die.”
The thieves have been transformed from career criminals
into Robin Hood-type pranksters.. As the days wear on,
the story takes wings. The national media picks it up,
then the international media. The surviving burglar has
become a folk hero.
Your attorney says the thief is preparing to sue you,
and he’ll probably win. The media publishes reports
that your home has been burglarized several times in
the past and that you’ve been critical of local police for
their lack of effort in apprehending the suspects.
After the last break-in, you told your neighbor that you
would be prepared next time. The District Attorney uses
this to allege that you were lying in wait for the burglars.
A few months later, you go to trial. The charges haven’t
been reduced, as your lawyer had so confidently predicted. When you take the stand, your anger at the injustice of it all works against you.. Prosecutors paint a picture of you as a
mean, vengeful man.

Posted on January 1, 2013 at 8:04pmIf Congress were really wanting to do something, they would take NO PAY for their time in office. Stop all perks. Get paid for 2 weeks in session 4 times a year. THAT MEANS TRAVEL EXPENSES. NO property or housing could be owned within 50 miles of DC. That is problem one. Second is not quite as easy but that is NO medical unless absolutely necessary for inmates. INSULIN life supporting drugs. NO ARTIFICIAL LIMBS. NO TV NO AIR CONDITIONING NO HEAT. NO GOVT supported education. They want that then they work for it. NEXT REMOVE MOST OF WELFARE. Oh gee guys how simple would that be to do….thinking very simple. and ground AIR FORCE ONE for a couple of years NO MORE VACATIONS ON THE TAX PAYER MR President. NO MORE GREEN ENERGY waste. NO MORE EPA…NO MORE IRS…15% national sales tax and that wipes out all the loop holes. AND NO MORE TAX RAISES. We pay way too much already. ….of course you all know this will never happen because the CONGRESS HAS APPETITE LIKE COOKIE MONSTER!!!

Posted on January 1, 2013 at 8:37pmOf course! The Socialist-Dems want this crisis. Some Repub’s, too.
But….the real problem is the Dems ideology that we need to be a socialist country. The social-welfare programs, the gov unions and the money it brings in, the over spending on those things… its all in the plan of creating chaos, hunger, anarchy, taking your guns.
You’ll be helpless as the Cambodian’s murdered by the Khymer Rouge, or the Russians under Communism.
Its the UN, as well. They know an armed US will never come under their dictates, though we’re dangerously close. Your private property rights will go under UN Agenda 21.
You really need to read these things.
We have a perfect storm….. money crisis, then no food, and no guns to keep the bad guys away.

Posted on January 1, 2013 at 6:52pmHow dumb. And from Wisconsin. Double loser. Maybe you can explain something yeah? Begining in 2002/2003 the credit rating of various Wisconsin state holdings took a downgrade from Moodys and S&P. S&P went so far as to blame the sates leadership from 1990 to 2004 for its outlandish debt-purchasing and serious money mismanagement that led to a $15billion debt. How did that get blamed on the unions and teachers? I mean if the debt was realized in the early 2000s and its source identified, who did blame shift? Oh thats right, lots of money spent to convince the idiot tv watchers that those events never took place because that would cast an unfavorable light on republicans, who ran the show durring the terrible years S&P cited. Any thoughts on that?
Here a google search link with articles related to what im talking about.
