Boehner to Reid: ‘Go F**k Yourself’

Tensions Between Speaker Boehner & Sen. Reid Came to a Head Last Week: Go F**k Yourself

An unenthusiastic hug between Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid & House Speaker John Boehner after their remarks for the late Sen. Daniel Inouye (Chet Susslin)

Now it’s no secret that tensions have been running high between Democrat and Republican leaders. Indeed, the entire “fiscal cliff” ordeal has been marked by partisan backbiting and back-and-forth bickering.

Still, every now and then you get a story that surprises you.

For instance, we knew Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) were not exactly on friendly terms. However, we were unaware that it allegedly came to a head last Friday when the two ran into each other outside of the Oval Office.

Via POLITICO:

House Speaker John Boehner couldn’t hold back when he spotted Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the White House lobby last Friday.

It was only a few days before the nation would go over the fiscal cliff, no bipartisan agreement was in sight, and Reid had just publicly accused Boehner of running a “dictatorship” in the House and caring more about holding onto his gavel than striking a deal.

“Go f— yourself,” Boehner sniped as he pointed his finger at Reid, according to multiple sources present.

Reid, a bit startled, replied: “What are you talking about?”

Boehner repeated: “Go f— yourself.”

The harsh exchange just a few steps from the Oval Office — which Boehner later bragged about to fellow Republicans — was only one episode in nearly two months of high-stakes negotiations laced with distrust, miscommunication, false starts and yelling matches as Washington struggled to ward off $500 billion in tax hikes and spending cuts.

The House on Tuesday passed the Senate-backed measure to avoid the “fiscal cliff” by a vote of 257-167.

@DissentNow — That is probably pretty accurate as many politicians hang out together and even the media, state representatives and governors, and the federal government gather every year for a White House Correspondence Dinner where both sides poke fun at each other.

It’s my belief that, in general, the longer a politician remains in office and spends time in D.C., the more removed they are from the people that elected them and, therefore, have become corrupt.

The Congress holds the purse strings. If I were the congress I would get fed up with the Senate. They refuse to negotiate on anything on the table by the Republicans. I would go to the American people and tell them no deal with the senate and that the Senate is trying to screw the American people and blame it on them the Republicans. Those that re-elected Obama are in for a rude awakening because they are misinformed morons.

      Actually, Ried was right.

Boehner’s trying to run a mini-dictatorship in the House by taking all of the Conservatives who disagree with his policies out of leadership positions.

The 1980′s GOP used to pride itself on being the Big Tent Party; meaning everyone was welcome- from the shaded-just-Left-of-Center leaning Graham & McCain to bold Conservatives like Reagan. Now, the progressives have taken over leadership and Conservatives need not apply.

The crying was part act just like Governor Bobby Jindal’s response to the Gulf oil spill. The MSM is against us. The MSM has the Republican party pegged form old white men. Howe does Jindal, Gov. Haley & the new Senator from South Carolina fit into that? It doesn’t. Yet they persist. The also say Republican lack empathy. They also say we want to poison the air. That is why Hannity jokingly mocks liberal guests that he wants to poison the air & water & feed his kids arsenic.

Bobby Jindal could have spent 4 hours in meeting in the morning starting at 5 AM with his staff & with FEMA on how to mitigate & clean up the spill. He could spend his whole evening reviewing the days events & results & making plans for the next day. But if he was not in front of the cameras in the AM & PM, the MSM would have creamed him for their Democrat masters.

Part of it was not an act. The obama administration made it as hard on him as possible to make his reelection chances harder. They did not want to approve any methods that might cause the crisis to end sooner than it might have. A crisis would have gone to waste.

Notice how the Democrats are already attacking Rubio in advance of 2016. They want to dirty him up. This is something that Boehner realized at the start of his speakership. He is smarter than you realize. And part of ihis tears are real. He had a harder life than obama going to elite private schools in Hawaii hanging out with his pot smoking Choom Gang.

@SpikeBu, No.. they aren’t one in the same.

One gave us Obamacare, the other wants to overturn it.

One wants to take away our 2nd ammendment rights, the other does not.

One WANTS to raise taxes, the other does not…
(Yes they voted to do this but there was no alternative, they had to limit the damges caused by the DEMOCRATS)

One wants to expand our energy capabilities, the other does not.

One wants to punish business owners, the other does not.

Neither party is perfect, the GOP is very broken as well but to say both are the same is complete ignorance and just standing on a soap box screaming… they are not the same.

I think Boehner is a lousy leader that plays the left’s game within the framework the left creates. He doesn’t have the stomach or the b@lls to change the narrative and effectively tell the American people that the media and the democrats have been conning them. He’s is exactly what ruthless, self-aggrandizing Chicago schooled politicians like Obama want. The chicago game is to keep the factions at odds with each other while the “big guy” feigns at being a leader..a speech here an appearance there constantly telling the public that it’s “congress’” fault and by congress he means..the other party’s fault.
It’s time for a real conservative with a spine in his back and a fire in his belly to take charge of the house and start changing the rules in Obama’s washington. This is the only way we can win this.

@JesusReigns Our founders understood that freedom could not last long in an immoral and degenerate society. For example; What’s the advantage of getting rid of all gun control laws and having the absolute freedom to own and carry guns if the super majority of people are drug addicts, dead beat dads, alcoholics, adulterers, whore mongers, fornicators, gang members, felons, thieves, liars, con artists, fugitives, molesters, abusers, rapists, murderers, etc. And although, certainly, in such a situation, guns in the hands of good people would be most needed, the necessity to raise up good people and instill good values would be much more needed. Rights and duties go hand in hand. Liberty demands responsibility. Freedom demands Justice and Truth. There is no room for compromise. We must only accept the absolute truth and nothing but the truth and defeat relativism. We must once again teach right and wrong in our schools, along with the courage to accept the consequence of our actions. Education is the main solution to our problems, but as long as a centralized over sized Government is in control of the education of our kids, we will go nowhere. The institution itself is communism. Every single founding father and forefather of this great nation took an Oath on the Holy Bible because they understood that they were accountable to the Creator of the Universe, and their authority to govern was limited, for they too were men, just like every one else.

It’s not like he cries for not getting his way – he cries when something touches his heart – Boehner may not have done the job we thought he’d do – I think a lot of us were expecting him to conduct himself as Pelosi did during her “reign” Thank God he didn’t. So who screwed us?

      White House
. Insisted on the exact wording of tax exceptions

      Finance Chairman Max Baucus
. crafted bill extending tax credits

Former Senators John Breaux, D-LA and Trent Lott, R-Miss Lobbyists for Capitol Tax Partners

. tax Credits for green energy
.. General Electric for algae subsidies
.. American Wind Energy Assoc – windmills

. Motion Picture Association of America
.. tax credits for film production.
. CitiGroup, Goldman Sacks, Morgan Stanley, GE
.. Move profits offshore to defer US taxes

      . Diageo (liquor giant)
.. tax provisions for rum making in Puerto Rico

The senate Finance Committee and the White House dropped several tax credits into the bill at the last minute. The senators had the final bill for THREE minutes before they were called on to vote for it.

These tax credits were absolutely required to prevent going over the financial cliff. Most of US will be paying more in taxes to offset the tax credits given to democrat donors. This is what the White House calls a balanced approach.

Never let a manufactured crisis go to waste.

Personally I feel sorry for Boehner. He’s in an impossible situation, which was proven again when he couldn’t even get the votes for the Republican’s own “Plan B.” He’s in charge of what certainly must be the most dysfunctional House in history.

The Republicans are attacking each other like hungry dogs. There is no leader among them able to whip a majority. Cantor among other prominent Republicans votes against the fiscal cliff deal. Christie and other Republicans from the northeast vented against the House for delaying the vote on Sandy funds. The Republican party is in a state of chaos and members turning on one another with abandon.

My prediction is that the fringe on the right will ultimately going to have the credit of the United States downgraded yet again because they are unwilling to agree with anything, regardless of the good of the country or wishes of the people who live in this country. The Republicans have voted in a bunch of nuts who are perfectly willing to send the country down the toilet rather than engage in the compromise our Founders envisioned for our country.

The only good news is it is becoming more and more apparent who is responsible for our dysfunctional government. Regardless of party, Americans are going to get rid of those people who hold their ideology above the good of the country. Sorry guys, you’re losing the PR battle, not because of the MSM, but because the truth is becoming more clear to everyone.

This only cements a thought I’ve had for the last few months… The GOP is on it’s way out and a real Conservative Tea Party-like party will take it’s place. Fortunately, the transition should go fairly smooth since so many are fed up with being represented by the spineless Republicans. Now we see if we Conservatives can take the wheel.

@SendTheMeteors It is politicians (left and right) that have brought us to such a place in the first place, through over spending, unlimited printing of money, perpetual debt, etc. It does not matter what deal anyone makes. The problem is that we have allowed our nation to reach a freaking 16.5 trillion dollar debt limit! That’s freaking insane! It is stupid to argue over little things that won’t make any significant difference. You can tax the rich 100% and it won’t even scratch the surface of our financial crisis. The problem is not that we as the US can’t produce revenue or compete commercially or economically with the world, the problem is stupid politicians that make stupid policies all in the name of compassion and social welfare, like forcing financial institutions to hand out easy credit to people who would not otherwise be able to make such payments in the first place or trusted to be responsible with such risks. Why the hell do we keep expanding Government and creating new programs when we have unprecedented debt and don’t have the money to pay off the debt or pay for new programs!? For you to think that we will lose our credit rating or economic stability because of one freaking vote or deal is the most idiotic statement and show of ignorance to ever come out of anyone’s mouth. No nation on earth can compete with our commercial forte. The problem is our modern monetary policy based on Marxist utopian ideals.

valium1776, yours wasn’t a bad post. But l feel obligated to remind you of a little history. The budget was balanced when Bush took office. The reason we have the huge deficit we have is well known outside the FOX bubble. Bush started two trillion dollar wars on a credit card. The country borrowed trillions to get rid of those WMDs. Remarkably, probably for the first time in history, we cut taxes while going to war on two fronts, Iraq and Afghanastan. Can you say “deficit?” And he put an unpaid Medicare on a credit card.

Does that make sense to you? The budget was balanced, then we went to war in two countries across the world with no way to pay for that, and, at the same time dramatically reduces taxes twice and increased Medicaid benefits. Don’t you get it? Do you not understand that conducting wars, increasing Medicare benefits and, at the same time, reducing taxes, might cause the deficit to increase?

And then the economy collapsed after seven years of Bush policies, dramatically reducing Federal revenue. Do you understand how government revenue decreases when the country falls into the second worst economic collapse America has ever experienced? You get that right?

“Fiscal Cliff” put in a much better perspective
      Lesson # 1:
      U.S. Tax Revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
      Federal Budget: $3,820,000,000,000
      New Debt: $1,650,000,000,000
      National Debt: $14,271,000,000,000
      Recent Budget cuts: 38,500,000,000
Let’s now remove 8 zeros and pretend it’s a household budge:
      Annual family income: $21,700
      Money the family spent: $38,200
New debt on the credit card: $16,500
Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
Total budget cuts so far: $385
      Got it?…. OK now…
      Lesson # 2
Here’s another way of looking at the Debt Ceiling:
Let’s say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood… and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings. What do you think you should do?
Raise the ceiling or remove the ****?

      The Numbers Are Now Talking

Sometimes you just cannot argue with the numbers. If these numbers are correct and true, the USA has bigger problems on their hands other than who was elected President.

Most everyone suspected fraud, but these numbers prove it and our government and media refuse to do anything about it.

As each state reported their final election details, the evidence of voter fraud is astounding. Massive voter fraud has been reported in areas of OH and FL, with PA, WI and VA, all are deploying personnel to investigate election results.

Here are just a few examples of what has surfaced with much more to come.

      * In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama
received 100% of the votes with not even a single vote recorded for
Romney. (A mathematical and statistical impossibility).

      * In 21 districts in Wood County Ohio, Obama received 100% of
the votes where GOP inspectors were illegally removed from their
polling locations – and not one single vote was recorded for Romney.
      (Another statistical impossibility).

      * In Wood County Ohio, 106,258 voted in a county with only
      98,213 eligible voters.

      * In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered
eligible voters but 247,713 votes were cast.

      * The National SEAL Museum, a polling location in St. Lucie
County, FL had a 158% voter turnout.

      * Palm Beach County, FL had a 141% voter turnout.

      * In Ohio County, Obama won by 108% of

      * In Ohio County, Obama won by 108% of the total number of
      eligible voters.

NOTE: Obama won in every state that did not require a Photo ID and lost in every state that did require a Photo ID in order to vote.

      Imagine that!

      @ Mercenary
I have friends who live in Ohio and they are indeed (at least in their district – though I don’t know what district it is) required to show ID. They made mention of it right before they went to vote. I wouldn’t doubt any voter fraud, though.

Reid would have to find it first and I am sure he could not locate it with both hands and a magnifying glass…

Now that’s what we want to see. It is that kind of thing that will get to the media and people may want to ask “what’s it about”. Besides, people love ! There is nothing uncivil about bloodying th nose of a bully who just lied about you to the American people. GO! GO! Progressives declared war decades ago. It’s way past time to take the gloves off.

About time they fought back! I think the GOP should have some copies of “Rules for Radicals” sent over to them.

89 Senators, 257 House Members and the President are all traitors. They should resign their elected positions and allow the American people to form a new government that has the courage and honesty to save this country from the greed and dependency that has brought us to this alarming state of affairs.
These are the 5 (R) Senators and 3 (D) Senators who did not support this criminal act.
Sen. Grassley (R-IA); Sen. Lee (R-UT); Sen. Paul (R-KY); Sen. Rubio (R-FL); Sen. Shelby (R-AL)
Sen. DeMint (R-SC) Did Not Vote; Sen. Kirk (R-IL) Did Not Vote
Sen. Bennet (D-CO); Sen. Carper (D-DE); and Sen. Harkin (D-IA)
Sen. Lautenberg (D-NJ) Did Not Vote
The House voted 257 (Ayes) to destroy the United States with 167 (Noes) to save our great nation.
There were 8 No Votes in the House.

@Kalavana, And what will a 3rd party buy you? Except for endless election losses?

      It’s simple math, 48% > 26% or 26%.

If you can go through the hassle of making a “new” party then you can go through the same hassle and useyour votes to fix the existing one. If you can vote in people from a 3rd party and WIN you can vote those people in as the GOP member and fix the party….

There is no logistic benefit of a 3rd party except to aid in liberal victories…

Do you see their side splitting their vote despite differences? No…

yeah that’s it VANCYBOY..get your Alinsky on. Ridicule right? Make all conservatives sound like they’re out of touch, extremist, radical..etc.

Boehner is a lousy leader for the GOP house, and plays the game the left wants him to play inside the periphery of the narrative set up by the left (an example of which is what you just tried to pull here). Boehner plays their game, instead of changing the rules and declaring that their narrative is flawed and a con job perpetuated by the media and the democrats and imposed on the low-information public.

Enjoy this status quo while you have it little guy.
