It’s a Bird. It’s a Plane. No, It Really Is (a Life-Size, Radio-Controlled) Superman Flying Around California!
Kyle Gough posted on LiveLeak a few days ago the video of a close to life-size radio-controlled Superman being launched on a beach off of California’s Pacific Coast Highway. The footage has since gone viral and reveals just how much people really want to see Superman take to the skies.
Here’s what Gough wrote of what he saw:
I was cycling with my buddy down PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) and during our casual conversation … Superman flew by. We stopped, got off our bikes just in time to watch him land. After a quick battery change, I grabbed the only thing I had on me (my cell phone, sorry for the shit quality) and took some video of what is EASILY the coolest custom RC plane I’ve ever seen. [...] I don’t usually post to LiveLeak but I couldn’t keep this video to myself.

This video has been reposted to YouTube several times with each getting tens of thousands of views.
After taking a gander at what’s on YouTube, it became clear that this isn’t the only Superman replica that’s been flow in recent years.
Here’s one where Superman lands in a field of crops. They attribute his unfortunate landing to a “kryptonite problem”:
Check out this one set to Superman’s theme song:
This one shows off an original design of an RC “man of steel”:

Posted on January 2, 2013 at 9:15pm82% of human gun shot wounds are self inflicted. Most guns are owned by conservative males. You can’t get a payout like that in Vegas.

In the second vid, It just upsets me to no end how that “pilot” walks around stomping on what can potentially go into one of Algore’s sycophant’s vehicles.
That IS NOT the “Superman” theme song in the third vid. That is a soundtrack to a modern-day pseudo-Superman movie. The “real” Superman was George Reeves, and HIS theme song was quite different and MUCH better.

Posted on January 2, 2013 at 2:57pmI remember both and personally, I think the 1977 movie theme was the better of the two.
And actually, “Save Me” by Remy Zero is the modern theme (from Smallville).

Posted on January 2, 2013 at 11:21amOnly problem, is whether Superman has prying eyes, as in spying on the public, rather than just an eye for crime!
