O’Reilly Blasts Al Gore for Allegedly Dodging Tax Hike in Current TV Deal After Calling on Rich to Pay Their ‘Fair Share’

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly did not beat around the bush when expressing his disgust over the hypocrisy displayed by Al Gore when he reportedly rushed to finalize the sale of Current TV before the “fiscal cliff” deadline on Monday in order to avoid paying higher taxes on his capital gains in 2013. O’Reilly wasn’t really thrilled that Gore chose to do business with the “anti-Americans” at Al Jazeera either.

To show just how hypocritical the move was, O’Reilly aired a clip of Gore saying he thinks the rich, including himself, need to “do our fair share.” That, of course, is the same rhetoric that comes out of the Obama administration and the left constantly.

And what did O’Reilly have to say about Al Jazeera? He called it an “anti-American network out of Qatar that recently ran a documentary sympathetic to Osama bin Laden.”

The host went on to say that he does not want to censor Al Jazeera in any way, but the move by Gore was “sleazy” and “disgraceful” nonetheless. And though O’Reilly didn’t mention it, TheBlaze also approached Current about buying the channel but executives were blown off because of ideological differences between the two networks. Al Jazeera was determined to be a better fit.

Just in case the New York Times, who first reported that Gore wanted to avoid higher taxes, was incorrect in its reporting, O’Reilly offered Gore all the time he needs to set the record straight on his show. He went on to say that he doubts the green energy mogul would ever actually appear on “The Factor.”

“Because we have problems with hypocrites in the ‘no spin zone,’ and Al well knows it,” he added.

It’s hard to consider someone who made $100 million in a deal “rich” anymore. Heck, if you only take half a dozen vacations a year, a week in Hawaii is going to cost you $4 to $7 million these days.

Only in America, could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 a plate campaign fund-raising event.
Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year – for total spending of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.
Only in America could the rich people – who pay 86% of all income taxes – be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any income taxes at all.

  I read elsewhere it is 70% of the taxes. Does anyone know if John Kerry ever paid the sales tax on the yacht he bought and kept in Rhode Island to avoid Mass. sales tax? This should be discussed when his nomination for Secretary of State is handled before the Senate.

I would guess there is nothing wrong with Gore’s decision to sell before January. From a business standpoint, it pockets more money for him. That said, he is a hypocrite for doing so. If we are all to pay our “fair share”, he typically is not practicing what he preaches. Washington is saturated with those who know better than us, passing legislation that directs our lives and then they exempt themselves… like Obamacare. As for selling to Al Jazeera, this is blatant proof that Gore has absolutely no virtue or integrity. With all his money, he had to get top dollar by selling to a sworn enemy of America? But liberals will defend him out one side of their mouths while criticizing the rich out the other side. From what I understand, some broadcast companies have made the decision to drop Current TV at customer request. I highly recommend you contact yours and demand they do it as well. If they do not, drop your business with them. Hit them in their wallets.

Now, wasn’t that a complaint from you regarding Romney’s previous business dealings? Do you think the new Al will continue to maintain the same personnel? Are their jobs, futures, benefits, and retirements secure? Sounds to me that they would have been far better off at keeping their families financially secure had Gore sold to Beck. Ah, but Gore has that enthusiasm for all of that oil money. He loves oil doncha know? Look up the Occidental Oil Deal from the Clinton debacle days. Al Gore is a prime example of the soon to be extinct species, The Democrap, the Democrat that becomes so full of feces, they can no longer think, move, or function, but become so overcome by their own BS that they think they are invincible that they can’t die, even though their own BS is strangling them. Now the only remedy is a high upper colonic, or as known to Democrats, a Lobotomy, and is only used as a last resort in the liberal realm, due to the fact, once they are no longer full of feces, they start to question Keynesian economics and they embrace F. A. Hayek. Once, a well known liberal was given a high colonic and actually read Ayn Rand and voted for Bush. Unfortunately, this famous singer was given an overdose by his “Doctor” and was given a state funeral by the State of California, and we will all miss Michael Jackson. So, remember, Al Gore will continue to stay full of feces to keep from being put to pasture by his party. Al Jazeera is indeed a “better fit” to anything conceived by Algore.
Those rich byvirtuee of the assets they already hold will “suffer” a 5% increase in capital gains tax. The rich by virtue of the money they EARN through work will pay the higher Income tax rate. Algore’s already rich, he doesn’t work or produce anything (other than hot air) . He invests and pays Capital Gains tax.

What ever happened to the Al Gore of yesteryear — the one that was pro-life and that crusaded with Tipper for better, cleaner, and less violent children’s programming on television? Now, he’s in bed with radicals across the spectrum.

Owl Gore is the new P.T. Barnum While Barnum may not have coined the phrase: “A sucker’s is born every minute,’ Al stands by it. Owl also though the movie ‘Love Story’ was about him because of the saying “Being Owl ‘full of crap’ Gore means never having to say you’re sorry.” While that exact phrase wasn’t in the movie, Al had illusions of grandure and thinks that’s what the movie was trying to communicate. He isn’t sorry because he thinks a sucker is born every second and it’s his government given duty to extract cash from them all to enrich himself. Owl is a con artist extaordinaire and liberal voters are the suckers Barnum, or whomever coined the above phrase, was talking about.

Interesting, he was scolded for selling it to Al Jazerra, because they are anti American, but Gore himself is anti American, a sleaze bag of the first water as they used to say. The other thought is, his network was failing, nobody else would be dumb enough to buy it!

  Well if you read many of the stories you would know that Glenn Beck offered to buy it but Al thought that Beck’s ideology was a bit wrong. So he sold it to a Middle East Oil sheik and sold out his Climate Change principles in the sale. But Mark Hannah justifies his flying of the worst fuel burning Executive Jet in the world because he can by Carbon Offsets and make him feel good.
  
  As Glenn explained that Cap and Trade Carbon Offset trading is Al Gore paying himself to pollute even more, since Al Gore is one of the founders of the Chicago Carbon Exchange for what was supposed to be legislation to mandate payments to the exchange for using coal for electricity. Even that was hypocritical since Al Gore’s house in Tennessee uses 20 times the electricity than the average house in the US.
