Cramer’s “no more taxes” explosion also included this statement explaining that the problem was hitting a broad spectrum of Americans:

Everyone who sat down with their accountants in the past 48 hours is dazzled, dazzled about what’s gonna happen. And I’m not just talking about the wealthy people, because we’re starting to talk about healthcare, small businesses — what they’re thinking about at the end of 2013.

Mr. Cramer sounded a bit like his channel-mate and frequent anti-tax, small-government ranter, Mr. Santelli, as he delivered this message on Friday morning during “Squawk Box”:

  Just wait for the first payday! EVERYONE is going to notice their paycheck is smaller. 2% jump in SS is on the gross, so the net drops about 2.6% for most of us. Doesn’t matter how little you make, if you were paying taxes (questionable if you’re a lib) you will see your pay go down this year. For most, who may only have 5% disposable income, that’s half of it gone!

  Not only did Crammer want Obama in he campaigned for him. This only proves that he is good as a market prognosticator and a stupid Jack Ass (as in male donkey) as a political pundit. It is not as if there were not enough people telling him exactly what was going to happen if Obama was elected so he has no right to claim ignorance.   @MBA – And this historically is always the case. Promises of big government never come to pass. And the people who sell their votes for those big promises find themselves an improverished slave to the government they elected. And typically this enslavement lasts for no less than two generations. We can see this over and over again in history. But an electorate has to read and learn about history and in America today, it is about entertainment all day long every day. So yes, as a country, we re-elected a communist who veils himself as something else and we are going to get what we deserve. It will be unpleasant to say the least.   CHUCK STEIN These peopl have no idea what the regular people go through and think. Sure they go to pub/restaurants and may ride subways and taxis, but the places they go to is filled people that think like them.
  
  The talk show hosts and politicians want to know how we real feel and what we think about, let them start working in the factories/farms/grocery stores/mom and pop stores. be a clerk behind a counter for a month or so and they will know our feelings.

  Yeah, Cramer is a great analyst. I remember him saying “Buy Sirius; it’s an eight dollar stock!” It was four at the time. As it turns out, it was at or near its high when he gave his expert opinion. Since then it has gone all the way down to ten cents a share and is just now breaking the three dollar mark. I wouldn’t buy gold at three dollars an ounce based on his recommendation.

  Ray is right. There is video, I think on this site, of Cramer arguing with Norquist over the fiscal cliff issues and taxes. He was told the truth often and blamed the messenger. Where was this guy the last 4 years…there was Hannity, Beck and Rush talking about the damage Obama was doing and could do to the country the economy and all of us and the rest of the media was largely anti-this-point-of-view or silent…I fear it is too late but maybe there IS a glimmer of hope. We will know for sure when the first full weeks pay cheques of the year get distributed which should be next week? How loud do you think the screams will be then?
PS: I wager Obama will say that he wants to raise everyone’s taxes again to help the middle class!

If you think the recent tax hikes are going to hurt wait until Jan 1 2014 when O Care kicks in fully……The Cloward and Piven plan is being played masterfully by the Clinton/Obama commiecrat machine…….the USSA’s financial collapse will occur before the end of Barry’s term…by that time the US will be well over 21 Trillion in the hole with a depression on it’s hands and war raging across N Africa and the Middle East.   The one and only up side to your predictions IS the whole WW3 thing. Last time we where in an official depression, WW2 happened, which ultimately lifted us out of the depression. This will be a hyper inflation depression though, so I have no clue what the results of that will be. Then there is the whole possibility of a 2nd civil war as well. Really sucks that any of this crap is even worth discussing, but sadly, the nation has radically changed I am afraid.

They are just getting what they begged for. And this is just the beginning. It will get worse. We made major changes to our paychecks to avoid these increases. We will be spending less, which will hurt business more, but we will retain more of our hard earned money.
