Current TV’s Joy Behar Laughs About Working for Al Jazeera…But Says Beck Would Have Been a ‘Nightmare’
The sale of Al Gore’s left-wing television network Current TV to Qatar-based Al Jazeera has raised a number of eyebrows on both sides of the aisle, particularly after TheBlaze’s offer was rejected for what Current TV described as ideological reasons.
The Wall Street Journal related last week that officials at TheBlaze were told “the legacy of who the network goes to is important to us and we are sensitive to networks not aligned with our point of view.”
Current TV host Joy Behar appears to be falling in step with Al Gore, overlooking her open-minded, liberal principles when discussing her new employer.
After “The Late Show” host Jay Leno jokingly asked her whether Osama bin Laden would be her new boss, Behar replied: “To me it’s like ‘Al Gore, Al Jazeera, Al Pacino.’ It’s all the same thing to me.”
The comedienne continued: “I just work there…I’m learning Farsi, you know.”
But when Leno mentioned Glenn Beck’s offer to buy Current TV, Behar’s tone changed.
“Yes, that would have been a nightmare,” she said seriously.

I posted the link because I wanted more the a wikipedia link. Al Jazeera’s bias are numerous. But since you pick & choose your links to read (very few, you did not look at the disgusting cartoons draw in of Condoleeza Rice reprinted at Michelle Malkin).
I don’t agree with everything the write wrote about Foxnews , the BBC or CNN although it was interesting. It would take a long time to dissect & analyze it.
I remember how exercized & lathered like overworked horse, people like you were & have been over Murdoch’s ownership of Foxnews. And yet the civil right record of Qatar, whose government owns Al Jazeera bothers you not. You did not answer that post, I did not think you would.

I’m to understand Al Jazeera is in the process of developing a show tailored just for Joy, to probably be called Jack’s-a$$. Where she plays herself, a talking a.h., When she’s not talking she’s spitting out reconstituted rolled oats for authenticity. If you are a subscriber they send you a numbered scratch and sniff Jazeera cable guide so you can get the matching stink to go with the show’s segment. For those to cheap to pay for the guild, a can of sauerkraut gone bad or a rotten egg will suffice

I am just wondering you know the little fact that they are destroying age old temples and World Heritage sites all over North Africa?.
Personally I think this guys opinion has nothing to do with hatred just reality and frustrations it hurts at times but history if you read it does leave a record no matter how much “Hope and Change” you wish for (or are getting for that matter.).

All feminists being forced to wear cover- maybe if they had a come-2-Allah moment…unbelievable and to have our past VP to sell out to Al-Jazeera? Dear God.

Lazy folk more interested in drug usage than parenting had out of control kids whose teachers suggest they need drugs. These kids qualify for SSD. So the stoners sit on the couch watching The View for their daily news when they wake up shortly before noon. They collect their kids’ social security disability checks for ADHD, which pays more than welfare and has no time limit — and thus qualify for the ‘temporary’ state benefits like fuel assistance and food stamps and section 8 housing because taking care of their kid’s “disability” takes so much time they cannot work. We now have these medicated people passed through the school system with high school diplomas but too dumb to pass a college class. This new generation collects SSD, and watches Joy Bimbo Behar rather than work for a living. Thus all the 18-25 year olds collecting SSD for their “learning disabilities”. My sister-in-law saw a married couple with ADHD on Judge Judy the other day (which is her comedy as a former very hard-working retiree) who both collect SSD yet the husband testified he worked moving furniture and painting for cash because SSD “doesn’t care” if he earns cash, that he only has to report checks. This dolt works for enough cash to keep him stoned, methinks, and I suspect there are many more like him.

I suppose if I live long enough I might enjoy the sight of Liberals watching their utopia turn into the very nightmare they feared us for, but I doubt I will take much joy when that day comes.
