Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Expected to Return to Work Monday After Health Issues

The State Department revealed late Sunday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to return to work on Monday, after a month of various health issues kept her largely out of the public eye.

It was reported last Thursday that Clinton would be returning sometime this week, but a public schedule for the State Department now indicates that Clinton will be back around 9 a.m. Monday morning.

Reuters has more details:

Clinton, 65, will sit down with assistant secretaries of state for a closed-door meeting on Monday at 9:15 a.m. (1415 GMT) at the start of a week-long schedule containing nearly a dozen meetings, including three at the White House.

The secretary was released from New York Presbyterian Hospital last Wednesday, after a stay of several days during which she was given blood thinners to treat the clot in a vein behind her right ear. She has been resting at home in New York since then.

Clinton has suffered a series of ailments over the last month, including a stomach virus and a concussion.

Her doctors have said they expect her to make a full recovery.

According to the State Department, Clinton has been receiving memos and regularly speaking with her staff while away.

Clinton will meet this week with, among others, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, national security adviser Tom Donilon, and Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

The Agence France-Presse adds:

Last week, State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said Clinton was “raring” to get back to work after being treated in a New York hospital for the blood clot discovered in a vein behind her right ear.

“She’s looking forward to getting back to the office,” Nuland said on Thursday. “She is very much planning to do so next week.”

Nuland said there had been an outpouring of support for Clinton from well-wishers from around the world. “I think you could call the number of goodwill messages a tsunami,” she said.

Clinton is due to be replaced as Secretary of State by Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.) later this month.

Why would Iran and Israel publish such as this if it were not true about the real reason Clinton has a blood clot? Read and decide for yourself, who’s lying to whom……..

And her answer to any questions that would get her into trouble will be like, “I will do my best Senator but you must realize because of my blood clot, my memory is not as good as it should be now, however, I do expect it to completely be cleared up by 2016″.

Her health issues have been predominately ‘mental’ in nature. It is because she has a shred of conscience left and cannot so easily dismiss her mis-deeds the way her colleagues seem to do. Coaching and feel-good drugs will be administered but will prove unsustainable.

All this speculation, projection and you Blazers have no clue what you are talking about. I don’t recall this much scrutiny of embassy security by conservatives after the bombing of the Marine baracks in Lebanon during Reagans presidency. This is nothing more than a partisan piss-off by disgruntled Blazers stung badly by the last election cycle and an apparent end of the conservative movement in America.

The scenery was so much lovelier when she was kept out of the pblics eye. What a horribly ugly woman inide and out To bad everyone in power (D&R) has already swept Benghazi under the rug, maybe we should call for an independent investigation of this whole mess.

A month hiding I’d be raring to go back too. A slip & fall or secret plane crash she’s got gossip & meetings to do. Hey they won’t let you fly after clot on the brain right? A neurologist told me that once I think. Maybe she will have a change of heart…there is always hope.

not pertinant to anything but??,the clintons were broke and in debt when they left office??then they bought a 10 million dollar home,ran for pres got another job in govt,became millionaires again??like al gore,why cant we figure out a scam to get rich instead of being the cashcow taxpayers???

With the concussion and all, I wonder if she’ll remember how to get to her office? Good thing she left a trail of peanuts so she can get back to her hooch; speaking of which, Hitlery “I think I’ll have another”, Clintoon returns to work today.
My fondest wish is to see her in an orange jump suit doing the “perp walk” out of the State building.

1. When the Benghazi mission came under attack on the night of 9/11/12 and immediately alerted DC through the secure State Department communications system, what were your first actions to try to rescue your Ambassador?

2. Since CNN news video taken in Cairo has disproven the Obama/Clinton narrative that “a video made them do it,” have you apologized to the father of Ty Woods? You remember Mr. Woods, don’t you, Hillary? He’s the patriot who had just given his son to this country only to hear you lie to him about arresting that vile video producer. Do you not have an ounce of decency in those sagging bones? (Blazers can google “Sun News, Brian Lilley, Cairo video from 9/11/12.” Spontaneous demonstration my a$$!)

3. Who fabricated the “video made them do it” narrative? Was that a Valarie Jarrett brainstorm? I guess she thought that she was still in Chicago?
