Take a Break From All the Bad News and Enjoy ‘I’m a Daddy and I Know It’

There is no shortage of depressing news in the world, which is why TheBlaze regularly offers stories and videos that may give you a brief break from bad news.

Today, we are sharing a 3:27 music video that parodies LMFAO’s pop smash hit “Sexy And I Know It.” This one is called, “I’m A Daddy And I Know It.”

This is not the first spoof of the the original pop song. The chart-topper’s catchy refrain sparked many parodies. In fact, a web search for the specific phrase “parody of Sexy and I know it” yielded over one million exact matches.

Some of them were quite entertaining, including:

We’re Trekkies And We Know It
I’m Pregnant And I Know It
There’s even one from Sesame Street — I’m Elmo And I Know It

This very new addition to the pile of LMFAO parodies is called “I’m A Daddy And I Know It.” It was posted on YouTube on Christmas Eve and as of Sunday morning (1-6-2012), the clip had nearly 300,000 hits. While 300,000 views is a respectable number, many at TheBlaze believe this could go viral and blast through the million mark today.

“I’m A Daddy And I Know It” is the only clip credited to the YouTube account for a used named “DaddyCrazy5.” The very entertaining video is described by the folks who created and star in it:

Great video! Great man to be happy being a dad and “showing it”. Look at the smiling faces of the children, happy & flourishing having a dad that is involved. Men that are great role models like this guy are very attractive. Good job! Congrats on the beautiful family!

This video gives me the giggles!! My husband does everything this guy does in the video except mine won’t dance and sing :o) As a Stay-at-home/Homeschool Mom, I love it when my husband helps around the house, after work, and with a wonderful attitude. We have Twins, and 6 more :o) Love the video!! May God Bless this family as he has ours!! Thanks for the Giggle!!

I’m with Solitude Bliss on this one – if that dad is taking care of five kids, going grocery shopping, doing the laundry, and even working out, he can shake his groove thang any way he wants!!

My husband would NEVER shake his booty for the camera. But I love him anyways!

P.S. Anyone else want to bet me that this dad is an LDS guy from Utah? My Mormon radar is going crazy on this one!

Hurray for Daddies everywhere, that love their wives and children!

Boo on the “daddies” that are mere sperm donors, and boo to the “mommies” that have sperm donors as “daddies” and consign their children to a life of “just getting by” from the pittance they receive from the State.

  First, this was a white elephant gift for family, directed by his wife. Very well done for not having ANY editing or camera experience.
  
  J. David: Maybe you wouldn’t teach them to dance like that, but I’m sure by your example they’ve learned a swear word or two – In my book, that’s worse.
  
  As for Marsh626, he’s not a feminized stay-at-home dad as you put it, he actually owns various successful businesses and works very hard, AND he still takes time to do all the things in the video. I don’t know, sounds like a pretty good dad to me. His wife is an excellent mother and wife too.

Im almost in the same boat. I have 1+triplets. Right now the trips are 3 and my oldest is 5. All we were trying for is one more and we had 3.
