After Much Anticipation, Glenn Beck Unveils ‘American Dream Labs’

Each day this week, Glenn Beck will lay out a new component of his plans for a venture that encompasses various areas of technology and innovation dubbed The American Dream Labs. Inspired by legendary American innovators, Beck said he plans to build a network that changes the face of new media in a transformative way.

“This is not just about the future of TheBlaze, not just the future of the entire TV industry,” he stated.

On his Monday evening broadcast, Beck talked about his plans for the Dream Labs, which includes locations in Dallas, Salt Lake City and New Zealand, where the enterprise will explore projects on energy, education, high-tech, entertainment and even foster collaboration with Tesla On his Beck also provided viewers with insight into the future of TheBlaze itself, which is now slated to open satellites in three separate countries outside the U.S.

“If you believe in not only thinking outside the box but in shattering the box all together, you’ve come to the right place,” he said.

“Believe it or not, revolutionizing how the news is delivered and how a network is run is the smallest of our many, many dreams… I do that knowing that some will mock, others will dismiss. But that’s OK. Every era of change has those who are resistant to it and those who like the comfort of the status quo or those who wish to spend their free time or their creative time mocking. It’s time to stop worrying about what others are doing and wonder why are we here.”

Beck said that the scope of what he plans to do with his new Labs is “enormous” and that he hoped his viewers would take a leap of faith and join him on the journey. With the support of his audience, according to Beck, the Dream Labs could change the fabric of “information, technology, entertainment, and more.”

Each evening this week, Beck will focus on a different area of innovation that the American Dream Labs is slated to address. On Tuesday, he will tackle global news and information as well as “research and development” and the rest of the week will follow suit in kind.

Watch below for the first glimpse into the enterprise Beck has been speaking about since 2012 and stay tuned this week for more:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Mr. Beck dismisses people who mock him but his own publicity release does just that with the phrase “been speaking about since 2012″ which was just last week, and the phrase “scope of what he plans to do with his new Labs is ‘enormous’” as if the word enormous had any quantifiable meaning.

“Enormous” does have a quantifyable definition, try a dictionary. Also, trying to mock someone about a year long ‘date’ when the context is clearly about the entire year, not just the last day of it, makes you look rather foolish.

Just remember, right now, it’s the right that wants to ‘progress’ to change and the left is resistant to change because they are in control now. Oh wait, maybe you’re referring to some specific ‘change’ you want to happen…that would mean that change is relative to a given topic and not something that can be idly tossed about as a buzz word. What a concept. I don’t blame anyone that is confused by this, our President used it just like that but he NEVER gets anything wrong. Just ask him.

Beck is a joke. I love how he pimps this stuff weekly: “Tune in for the most amazing thing you will ever hear in your entire life, if you believe in love, and if you don’t, well, tune in because what I will tell you tonight will be the most amazing thing. And, send me money. Thanks.”

Green energy research grants is what the government should be handing out instead of green energy business grants. RESEARCH is the key word here. I don’t want tax dollars funding any company, period. But ,funding research is a good thing. It’s common sense that a green energy that could be found that is reasonable in cost and can produce the energy people desire would be a great thing and would stop some of the air pollution that continues. I do not know if our fossil fuel burning actually hurts our atmosphere and environment in any manner enough to change our climate, but even if it does not, it certainly pollutes our air, water and land, and that is not a good thing.

So, yes for green energy research … true research … as that is what we need and a breakthrough would be a great thing.

Having like everyone else studied people, I found it takes a big ego to succeed, to strive & try big things.

So much angst that Beck will not stay down. He was nobody in the late 1990s, Fox had a dispute with him. That is 2 strikes. The old boy should have stayed down.

Better yet he should be enriching the coffers of some noble experiment like Current TV or liberal stalwart company like NBC. It is really horrible when a company like Microsoft pulls out of a joint venture like MSNBC. Microsoft should be DOWN with the CAUSE! If Beck had only engaged in some noble endeavour like rehabilitating someone tawdry & deceitful like Dan Rather, he would be lauded by left think people.

“I went to Fox [News] and I took the Fox job because I believe in something. I wrote ‘Common Sense’ during the Christmas vacation right before I started at Fox. I believed we were in trouble and I still do, and I used to think that waking people up was the answer. But November 6th proved to me that there are far too many people that would rather sleep. And maybe not even ‘rather sleep’. They’re just tired of things that don’t make sense. They don’t believe in anything or anybody any more.”

“I do it because I believe sincerely in the ideals set out in the [U.S.] Constitution and The Declaration Of Independence: of Liberty, self-empowerment, of a Creator, personal responsibility, and freedom of conscience. When we reconnect with our ‘why’ — and there’s enough of us, just a community of us — we will change the current of the culture. And we will win. I don’t know what a win even looks like at this point. But we will perserve and even expand Man’s freedom to pursue His own happiness.”

“Our problems are so daunting. They are so massive. And they are so interconnected that cutting one strand … doesn’t untangle the web. You’ve got to cut them all. Now, I understood this instinctively for a while — spit yourself out of the system — but I didn’t even know what that meant. … We are here to dream. We are here to shatter ‘the box’, pave a new path, set a new course, an build a new community of Americans.”

“The arrangement was simply FreedomWorks paid Glenn Beck money and Glenn Beck said nice things about FreedomWorks on the air,” Armey said, adding that, initially, Beck’s kind words were only supposed to cost $250,000 a year. “Once that was approved by the trustees, it then took on a life of its own, it got bigger than we understood it to be. All of a sudden it was we are paying Limbaugh as well as Beck.” The price of Beck’s nice words then went up to $1 million a year, Army said. He explained how it was a bad investment:

That is all terrific. But to understand the fullness in every area we face as a threat right now -you need to understand the Agenda: Grinding America Down. You may know some of this, but there is no better movie that has put it all together, connected all the dots…I for the life of me do not know why Glenn Beck has never featured Curtis Bowers work …but you can get up to speed with it right here.

Agenda to create an America so corrupt it stinks; use public policy to subvert America from inside, infiltrate and influence our culture driving us in a direction designed to destroy us. . No conspiracy – just verifiable facts! If you don’t know all this you need to find out!

This is the most comprehensive, best movie I have seen pulling all this together. …give it 5 minutes and you won’t be able to walk away

Yeah, Beck definitely overpromotes stuff. It seems like everyone these days does. O’Reilly promotes his stuff every day on his show. Gutfeld became incredibly annoying when his new book came out. It must be necessary to maximize dollars.

Glenn used to do the same thing when he was on FoxNews. He build up something on a daily basis. You’d start to get really excited. Then, when you tuned into whatever he was promoting, it was always like “That’s it? That was the super-huge, mega-awesome, game-changing, mind-blowing thing you’ve been talking about?”

Like you said, he overpromotes and underdelivers. He does good work, but he is a businessman, too. For listeners, viewers, and fans you catch on though. It’s like The Boy Who Cried Wolf. There’s only so many times you can fool someone before they catch on. When Beck starts talking big these days, I just tune out. I wish him success, but I’m not going to be the sucker hanging on his every word when he’s got a new idea.

When I started accepting people for who they are, and started looking for things I could admire about them, I became much happier.

I saw a quote this weekend on a poster at Hobby Lobby:

      “”My mother said to me, ‘if you become a soldier, you’ll be a general;

Maybe if you actaully send something that Beck has ied about, send us y our facts. At least I’m not a leftist loon who gets news feed like a child. You jsut can’t handle the truth. I read, watch, evaluate, cross refernces everything that I come accross. Plus Glenn repeatly tells his viewers to not take him for granted to to do our own research. Amazing. Can’t wait till Obamcare comes full circle. its only going to hurt people that its trys to help, the rich will be rich, Warren buffeft Stills Pays and lower tax rate then his ~200K to 300K annual salary and if you want to call her a Secratery. Al Sharpton, Jesses Jacksong, Valery Jarret, Obama are rich but amazing the people they try to help still live in failing cities. Any obejection Liberals? Can’t imagine you would waste your time if your right.

So tell us what has Glenn lied about I’m sure he is willing to listen, I’m sure am. You just the type to complain, hence what the liberal party stands for, Envy. When someone works their **** off to make money it makes you mad becuase you Fd up in life and can’t except it, you want someone to take it from me, and others so you can seat on your **** and make comments.

Give me one thing that he lies about with references, I’m willing to listen..I’m looking for the truth just like Glenn and company. All your posts that I have read, and they themselves are sloppy, not as bad as my first, but I haven’t learned anything. While I wait please take a read at my two go to profressionals, Dr Thomas Sowell, and Dr Walter E Williams.

I’m atheist and a Libertarian, i listen to Glenn because its better then the other drival thats out there

I can think of a few times I believed Beck to be wrong in his opinion. But, I don’t know of a single time that he willfully lied to those that watch him. The world needs more press outlets like that. I am so tired of so-called “news organizations” willfully lying to the American people. Payback is coming. There is room in this country for a difference in opinion. There is no room for reporters and companies that lie about the facts, for their own ends.

BECK willfully lied when he said 10 percent of muslims were terrorists… actual number 0.1%

and when he claimed the Fed keeps it’s profits, and that you can not even look at their books. Beck claimed the Fed made $50 billion in profits, and they just keep it, without paying any taxes on it.. which is a total lie.

and when he claimed that Tax Dollars Funded A Jesus Art Exhibit At The Smithsonian. while the Smithsonian does not use public funds for exhibits.

and Beck said the U.S. is Sending “Another Trillion Dollars, Over To Europe.” which never happened.

and Beck said Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is not a peaceful muslim, based on something someone else
said 9 years ago.. which is not true. he blamed Imam for something someone else had said.

and when Beck said George Soros Manipulated Congress To Introduce Energy Legislation.. total lie

and Beck said “There Has Been “Zero Warming For Over A Decade.” which in actuality 2000-2010 was the warmest decade on record.

and Beck said Ohio City Has Not Taken Any Stimulus Money From The Government.. except for that 2.6 million in stimulus funds.

so up to you.. does he willfully lie? or is he just an Idiot?

      @KEATONC33

I don’t call the Left liars (we all get things wrong on occasion)…I call them misguided.

I believe that Glenn has the best intentions.

If you saw his show a couple of days ago, he gave a list of things that drive him; the things that drive Glenn are the things that drive me, also.

Add to that a shared religious outlook, the whole ‘good vs evil’ thing, and it’s no wonder that I’m an avid supporter.

I don’t always agree with Glenn, but I don’t need to. No two snowflakes are alike.

Some people tear down, others build.

Glenn is learning to build, and I support him in that endeavor.

To KeatonC33 – you mediamatters hack

10% is the poll number of muslims who sympathize with Al Queda/Terrorists, no one could possibly know the “actual” number

      Fed does earn “profits” http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/23/business/economy/23fed.html?_r=2&ref=business&

Smithsonian receives tax payer money… period. Just because someone doesn’t actually use their EBT card on strippers doesn’t mean the dollars in the other pocket paying the strippers comes from someone else.

Actually Beck said this “The European Union, along with the IMF, is giving $1 trillion to Greece — $1 trillion. The U.S. contributes 17 percent of the IMF funds.”

why defend Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf? The man who said “The Islamic method of waging war is not to kill innocent civilians. But it was Christians in World War II who bombed civilians in Dresden and Hiroshima, neither of which were military targets.” [ignorant and dangerous statements]

Soros was (is) a major donor to democrats who authored the NAT GAS Act and countless other energy policies that benefit his energy investments.

Sorry to shatter your global warming dreams… http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2012/05/31/sorry-global-warming-alarmists-the-earth-is-cooling/

Wilmington, being a part of Ohio, did benefit from the Gov assistance provided to individual companies like DHL and county services.

So you are about half-right on just one of your mediamatters talking point lies. You hack.

And I for one am pleased that you are here. It is necessary to have a few dissenters to poke and prise at our philosphies in search of ideological frailty or falsehood.

If you are wrong (and sorry, mate, but you usually are) then that indicates the strength of our viewpoint, and if you are right, then it prevents perdition through self-delusion.

It also inhibits stagnation through too much likemindedness (if that’s a word).

I’m curious. Do YOU have a solution for situations where there is no really good answer? And remember… you have to get the rest of the country to agree with you. So, it better be either a real solution that you can prove, or it has to be the best lie you’ve ever told. Just so you know, though, the best liar already has a job and a little more than half of the country voted for him, while many people were writing in Ron Paul’s name. That didn’t make the difference, of course. But, it sure as heck didn’t help with the problem.

Why don’t you try giving up your video game for a few minutes, and take a chance on listening to someone who cares, and lend your support… if we all quit, we will go down the drain. I love freedom! I love patriotism! I love the values our country was built on, and I for one, will not ever quit. I’d love to have you join me. Hello Susie. Thank you for your reply.

I don’t understand — who is leading whom to where? I follow no man. And I am not quitting, because I never started; I do not engage in worldly battles. Although this story is not yet finished, the end has been written. Glen loses. Susie loses. Mike loses. Well, until the very end. Then we are saved by Jesus.

But Glen, Susie, and Mike cannot defeat evil. Resist? Yes — definitely! Defeat? No — that is not our task. So I choose to focus on non-worldly concerns and to abide by the New Covenant struck by Jesus.
