Alex Jones Goes Ballistic Debating Gun Control With Piers Morgan: ’1776 Will Commence Again If You Try to Take Our Firearms!’
The White House petition to “deport” CNN host Piers Morgan from the United States has acquired more than 100,000 signatures. For his own reasons, Morgan invited the man behind the petition, Infowars’ Alex Jones, to discuss the reason for the petition and gun control on his show Monday night.
At many times throughout the segment, Jones got heated and began hollering about the seriousness of the threat to the Second Amendment. He said he created the petition to bring attention to the fact that we have “all these foreigners” arguing for gun control while the government stockpiles guns.
“When they get our guns they can have their world tyranny, while the government buys 1.6 billion bullets, armored vehicles, tanks, helicopters, predator drones,” he added. “The Second Amendment isn’t there for duck hunting, it’s there to protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs.”
Getting himself worked up, Jones quickly lost his cool.
“Britain took the guns…Hitler took the guns, Stalin took the guns, Mao took the guns, Fidel Castro took the guns, Hugo Chavez took the guns,” he said, raising his voice and pointing a finger at the CNN host. “And I’m here to tell you. 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! It doesn’t matter how many lemmings you have out there on the street begging for them to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?”
After Jones accused the U.S. government of giving citizens “suicide mass murder pills,” Morgan asked him how many gun murders there were in the U.S. last year.
Jones quickly replied, “11,458 and about 74 percent of those were gang-related.” However, he quickly mocked the CNN host with his own question: “How many great white sharks kill people every year but are afraid to swim?”
Jones continually interrupted Morgan, making it difficult for a serious debate to occur. “You are a hatchet man of the new world order,” Jones spat at Morgan.
Once he found an opening, Morgan explained that Britain had just 35 gun-related murders last year compared to America’s 11,458. Jones argued it isn’t the “gun” that is killing people, it’s the criminals. In other words, a criminal will find a way to kill with a knife or a metal rod if guns aren’t available. He cited Britain’s high overall violent crime rate to make his point.
Watch part one of the interview:
And part two:
On Monday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney responded to the petition to deport Morgan.
“The White House responds to all petitions that cross the threshold and we will respond to this one. In the meantime, it is worth remembering that the freedom of expression is a bedrock principle in our democracy,” Carney said.
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on January 16, 2013 at 2:22amThe Brits like to tout their relatively low incidence of deaths by firearms, but what they tend to leave out is their extremely high rate of what the FBI calls ‘Violent Crimes’. Orders of magnitude higher on a per-capita basis than the U.S. if you look at the FBI’s own statistics.
I personally think it’s because the criminals know they don’t have to worry about getting shot, by either citizens or police. They have an entire nation of victims at their feet.
Anyone remember back in the 70′s or 80′s when the Bobbies were requesting to be armed? The English government told them to shut up and the news media quickly buried it, but it was out there. For a little while anyway.

Posted on January 12, 2013 at 3:12pmYes Alex Jones uses phrases like “suicide pills”……and yes that sounds harsh and whacky and zany….but there is not a poster on this forum that doesn’t “know exactly” what Jones means when he invokes that phrase……I really love the way that leftists and liberals suddenly become brick dumb whenever a comment or statement is made by an opponent that is controversial or one that can be by itself out of context used to paint the leftists opponent as a loon or fringe element of one sort or another. Let me give you all my take of what Jones means by “crazy pills”……he is illustrating a couple of things…..one…that mental illness is a significant root cause of gun violence and… two…that Jones does not want people who are prescribed mental illness medications to obtain a weapon legally until such a time that the applicant has had their mental illness brought into a more normal mindset.
There…. now that wasn’t all that complicated was it? 13A, Encinom, Soy and all of my other left of center contrarian colleagues on this forum all know full well what Alex Jones meant….

Posted on January 11, 2013 at 5:47pmTo the person who replied to my post on this with the following: “Conflating sensationalization with 9/11 truther insanity. Just shut up, hacks. You obviously are incapable of critical thought, so stop wasting your time trying to convince intelligent people with your insanity. ” Glenn isn’t always right, either, and some of the wording used by the Blaze to try to draw you into looking at articles is sensationalistic, too. Does that mean I’m insane or Glenn is insane, too? I would have expected such vitriolic wordage from the left, but not from another conservative.

Posted on January 11, 2013 at 2:49pmI’m glad that he is making the point that I have been trying to make. In 1775, Britain marched on Lexington and Concord for what reason? To confiscate arms. This act followed a long train of abuses of British tyranny. With this attack on our 2nd amendment by the federal government, it makes the 5 amendment in the Bill of Rights to come under attack just since the turn of the century. Bush violated the 4th with the Patriot Act, Obama has already violated the 1st, 9th and 10th amendments under Obamacare, and now this attack on the 2nd amendment. The supreme court can argue all they want that these provisions are constitutional, but remember, they are part of the same federal government, and they have no interest in stopping the expansion of the federal government. They are nominated by the same fools that are elected in every election who are all working together to destroy the constitution. Unless America wakes up soon and realizes, as James Garfield stated, “Now, more than ever, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body is ignorant, reckless, or corrupt, it is because the people tolerate those characteristics from their national legislature.” I tend to think it is because the people have become just as ignorant, reckless, and corrupt as their national legislature. It has led to the heart of America rotting to it’s very core, and it is all a product of abandoning the laws of nature that this nation was founded upon.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 11:15pmMorgon this is you, your Philosophy…..
Tyranny is any political system (whether absolute monarchy or fascism or communism) that does not recognize individual rights (which necessarily include property rights). The overthrow of a political system by force is justified only when it is directed against tyranny: it is an act of self-defense against those who rule by force. For example, the American Revolution.
Yup!, this is you Morgon!!!!!!!!
Read your history about “America Revolution”! Mr. highly educated jerk….. :)

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 4:22pmGlenn Beck should develop his own persona instead of borrowing the one he uses now from Alex Jones:
———–
“One of the primary characters in Glenn Beck’s New York Times number one bestselling novel The Overton Window is blatantly a caricature of our own Alex Jones, according to a reader who sent us his review of the book. Jones is fictionalized as “Daniel Baily,” the patriot movement leader who tries to prevent the U.S. government from carrying out a false flag terror attack on Los Angeles.”

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 3:50pmJones is excitable to say the least, that’s his style, type-A, but I don’t hear anything that is incorrect through the shouting. His style is not everyone’s cup of tea, passion is better suited for close like-minded friends and calm, logical, insistent recitation of facts far better for MSM and conversion of the asleep masses.
Oh, and not crying, a la Beck. ;)

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 3:28pmIf we don’t have guns and our military gets cut then who’s going to defend Mexico and Canada. Does this mean they’ll have to protect themselves? Canada better get their self defense going, as they may have to depend on more than the Mounties, and their small military that can’t even take care of the Chinese and Muslims sneaking into their country.
Perfect opportunity for Obama buddies in the Muslim Brotherhood. You people better watch out for terrorists etc. as your government is now going to protect us with their brilliance.
You registered gun owners were warned years ago that this would happen.
Better learn axe throwing, Bow and arrow or crossbow and become proficient in throwing spitballs.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 3:08pmI hate to say it folks but Glen and his crew appear to be master manipulators. When we had the chance for a man like Ron Paul for President, Glenn threw him under the bus (called him Mayor of Crazy town)
In hind site Paul was dead on with everything he said. Now Alex Jones comes out and speaks the truth (Not very gracefully but still the truth) Glenn and clan throw him under the bus. The good book says “test all things and hold fast to that which is good” not “test only things Glenn approves of, then mock and attack the rest”
90% truth 10% manipulation.
I do agree you should all start storing food asap!

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 2:43pmAlex Jones went ballistic. I think the only reason the Feds haven’t taken him out yet is because he seems crazy! His fake English accent was over-the-top, insulting and didn’t need to be done. You guys should check out 1776again.com It’s more moderate and just the facts. :)

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 2:41pmThe interesting part of the interview is that the liberal ignores the other statistics that don’t support his position. Violent crime will happen with guns or without. Mexico was a great example of how the criminals and crazies will find weapons and kill, while the people who obey the law, and who are at the mercy of the government protection live in fear as their neighborhoods are run by the armed bandits. The end of the interview was planned to make all conservatives who were thinking “this guy is all right”, think “oh no, he is a crazy”. It was a typical “Gotcha” moment from the “Red Coat”. I liked how Pierce got a taste of his own character assassination medicine. Funny. He couldn’t move off of his 35 deaths and just ignored suicide, and violent crime. This is the perfect example of the liberal mind, it has no reason.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 2:45pmdeeming certain people untouchable from criticism or correction is where we conservatives get into trouble. Your not going to agree with everyone all the time. Focus your feelings of boycott to liberal groups, pull your money from them first. I think we all should. Stop seeing movies, buying the products that liberals support etc. Don’t give up on our own people who are mostly right until they fall off the cliff. hang in there dude.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 1:50pmHey Glenn, I just had another thought on your juvenile attack on Alex Jones. During your latest rant, you also condemned the products he promotes on his website. What’s that matter now Glenn? Are you against preparedness, store-able food and water purification? You think fluoride is good to drink? Do Your Own research Glenn! This crap they are putting in the water is NOT what your dentist treats you and your kids with. It’s industrial waste! A by-product of aluminum manufacturing for one. Mmmm, yummy. That’s got to be good for ya! What about the death threats on Alex from CNN people? You think that’s funny? While you travel around with your armed security detail following you everywhere, no wonder You feel safe. We “regular people” can’t afford that stuff? How do we protect ourselves from car jackings and attacks, robberies at the “Quickie Mart?” You owe Alex Jones an apology. But you won’t. You are too good for that! That is beneath you. Why don’t you just attack Mark Levin, George Noory, and Clyde Davis while you are at it?
