Alex Jones Goes Ballistic Debating Gun Control With Piers Morgan: ’1776 Will Commence Again If You Try to Take Our Firearms!’
The White House petition to “deport” CNN host Piers Morgan from the United States has acquired more than 100,000 signatures. For his own reasons, Morgan invited the man behind the petition, Infowars’ Alex Jones, to discuss the reason for the petition and gun control on his show Monday night.
At many times throughout the segment, Jones got heated and began hollering about the seriousness of the threat to the Second Amendment. He said he created the petition to bring attention to the fact that we have “all these foreigners” arguing for gun control while the government stockpiles guns.
“When they get our guns they can have their world tyranny, while the government buys 1.6 billion bullets, armored vehicles, tanks, helicopters, predator drones,” he added. “The Second Amendment isn’t there for duck hunting, it’s there to protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs.”
Getting himself worked up, Jones quickly lost his cool.
“Britain took the guns…Hitler took the guns, Stalin took the guns, Mao took the guns, Fidel Castro took the guns, Hugo Chavez took the guns,” he said, raising his voice and pointing a finger at the CNN host. “And I’m here to tell you. 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! It doesn’t matter how many lemmings you have out there on the street begging for them to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?”
After Jones accused the U.S. government of giving citizens “suicide mass murder pills,” Morgan asked him how many gun murders there were in the U.S. last year.
Jones quickly replied, “11,458 and about 74 percent of those were gang-related.” However, he quickly mocked the CNN host with his own question: “How many great white sharks kill people every year but are afraid to swim?”
Jones continually interrupted Morgan, making it difficult for a serious debate to occur. “You are a hatchet man of the new world order,” Jones spat at Morgan.
Once he found an opening, Morgan explained that Britain had just 35 gun-related murders last year compared to America’s 11,458. Jones argued it isn’t the “gun” that is killing people, it’s the criminals. In other words, a criminal will find a way to kill with a knife or a metal rod if guns aren’t available. He cited Britain’s high overall violent crime rate to make his point.
Watch part one of the interview:
And part two:
On Monday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney responded to the petition to deport Morgan.
“The White House responds to all petitions that cross the threshold and we will respond to this one. In the meantime, it is worth remembering that the freedom of expression is a bedrock principle in our democracy,” Carney said.
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Let them TRY! Let them just TRY…..there are some 270 million firearms in the hands of those patriots, not even counting the more than 16 million that were sold in December alone. America is arming itself, for the coming revolution. Just let them try…..

I guess the White House also forgot that ‘the right to bear arms shall not be infringed’ is also a bedrock principle in our republic.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”
Its pretty hard to fight for the “security of a free State” if you are armed with only rocks and sticks.
Again, i hear you complaining about “gun nuts” but, yet, i don’t hear you complaining about Obama running guns to the Mexican drug cartels.

Posted on January 7, 2013 at 10:49pmI’m worried that so many people actually take Alex Jones seriously… I have to admit though that the guy is entertaining to watch. That was hilarious.
As to the topic of gun rights, Morgan noted repeatedly that only about 35 or so people are killed by guns in the UK. What he didn’t mention though is that gun murders have doubled since the UK banned most firearms. That means that before the gun bans, only about 20 people a year were murdered by guns in the UK. So, that means that gun violence is extremely low in the UK regardless of gun laws.
And that’s the whole point. It isn’t gun laws that dictate gun murder rates but rather racial demographics. The ugly reason as to why U.S. cities like Chicago and Washington D.C. have such high gun murder rates despite tight gun control is because those cities are full of latinos and blacks. And that’s why uber-White U.S. states like Vermont have virtually no gun murders despite having practically zero gun laws and legal concealed carry. And that’s why racially diverse brown countries like Brazil and South Africa have insanely high gun murder rates despite strict gun laws.
It’s the racial demographics that matter the most. Not gun laws. That politically incorrect reality is just never mentioned for obvious reasons… Everyone is scared to death for being called a racist for looking at race and violent crime statistics and coming to the glaring conclusion that only Whites and East Asians have low violent crime rates…

“Although I love the country as a second home and one that has treated me incredibly well, I would, as a concerned parent first – and latterly, of a one-year-old daughter who may attend an American elementary school like Sandy Hook in three years’ time – seriously consider deporting myself.â€

I know Glenn and Alex don’t get along but I think Alex has a lot to lend to this discourse. Alex isn’t owned by any corporate structure and will not sugar-coat his opinions and facts. His being eccentric is what makes him a power player.

Then all he need do is show the stats that three times as many people were killed with hammers and fists, are we going to ban them! But thank God someone is finally clarifying that semi’s are to stop evil governments, not home defense and that if they come for our guns, the tree will be thoroughly refreshed! Also, he needed to correct Morgan that All American gun owners are shooters, the shopping center and the school involved mass murderers!

Posted on January 7, 2013 at 10:35pmI will side with Alex on this, but can’t he tone it down just a notch? Piers had the advantage of a “bug in his ear” to tell him to stay calm, Alex feared being cut off and wanted to drive his point home as quick as he could. The perceived “fight” was not fair as Piers had silly stats and “factoids” pumped into his earpiece while Alex got all lathered up and feared edit.
