Alex Jones Goes Ballistic Debating Gun Control With Piers Morgan: ’1776 Will Commence Again If You Try to Take Our Firearms!’

The White House petition to “deport” CNN host Piers Morgan from the United States has acquired more than 100,000 signatures. For his own reasons, Morgan invited the man behind the petition, Infowars’ Alex Jones, to discuss the reason for the petition and gun control on his show Monday night.

At many times throughout the segment, Jones got heated and began hollering about the seriousness of the threat to the Second Amendment. He said he created the petition to bring attention to the fact that we have “all these foreigners” arguing for gun control while the government stockpiles guns.

“When they get our guns they can have their world tyranny, while the government buys 1.6 billion bullets, armored vehicles, tanks, helicopters, predator drones,” he added. “The Second Amendment isn’t there for duck hunting, it’s there to protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs.”

Getting himself worked up, Jones quickly lost his cool.

“Britain took the guns…Hitler took the guns, Stalin took the guns, Mao took the guns, Fidel Castro took the guns, Hugo Chavez took the guns,” he said, raising his voice and pointing a finger at the CNN host. “And I’m here to tell you. 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! It doesn’t matter how many lemmings you have out there on the street begging for them to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?”

After Jones accused the U.S. government of giving citizens “suicide mass murder pills,” Morgan asked him how many gun murders there were in the U.S. last year.

Jones quickly replied, “11,458 and about 74 percent of those were gang-related.” However, he quickly mocked the CNN host with his own question: “How many great white sharks kill people every year but are afraid to swim?”

Jones continually interrupted Morgan, making it difficult for a serious debate to occur. “You are a hatchet man of the new world order,” Jones spat at Morgan.

Once he found an opening, Morgan explained that Britain had just 35 gun-related murders last year compared to America’s 11,458. Jones argued it isn’t the “gun” that is killing people, it’s the criminals. In other words, a criminal will find a way to kill with a knife or a metal rod if guns aren’t available. He cited Britain’s high overall violent crime rate to make his point.

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney responded to the petition to deport Morgan.

“The White House responds to all petitions that cross the threshold and we will respond to this one. In the meantime, it is worth remembering that the freedom of expression is a bedrock principle in our democracy,” Carney said.

Piers Morgan tried to show, that the numbers of gun related deaths, in America, dwarfs ,what the number is England.The number of gun deaths in America is small, in comparison to the millions who have died at the hands of their own governments in other countries. Government have shown to be infinitely more deadly, than my fellow citizens.We are not talking ancient history either.This all happened,in the life time, of people alive now.If you back out, the number of deaths, related to Illegal drugs and suicides, the number per capita falls even more.

The mocking accent signed sealed and delivered you as a nut job to be laughed at. Next time breathe a little and stay on topic…you so should have won this encounter if you wouldn’t have slipped over the edge.   Jones is a Constitutionalist. Conservatives come in many varieties. Santorum says he’s a Conservative, but yet he’s for bigger government. Newt Gingrich says he’s a Conservative, yet his worldview is based on growing the overall size of government. Neither man has any adherence to the Constitution.

If they succeed at implementing gun control, and 50% of the country believes it is unconstitutional, it’s not going to matter what the Supreme Court says. Now then, we can ask ourselves, why is it so important to them, to take the country in that direction?

  It actually shouldn’t matter what the Supreme Court says either. They have evolved into an entity that believes it’s first duty is to support the rest of the government. It’s not surprising because, after all, they are part of the government. The Second Amendment was enacted to try and ensure that the balance of power remained with the populace. Now it’s up to the citizenry to roar and demand our rights be respected.

The reason Britain has so few gun crimes now is because far fewer people owned guns before the ban, and they live on an island. There are hundreds of millions of guns in the US, and we have porous land borders with a dangerous neighbor state.

A gun ban here now would only disarm peaceful, law abiding citizens. Millions of guns would remain in the hands of the criminals, gangs, and the state.

My thought is that people may need an AR15 to protect their own property from the government..or from others who try to invade their territory and take what they have…other than that, I can’t imagine a need…I can shoot to kill with a butcher knife, if inclined to do so…or anyother sharp object. You gonna put us all in prison and take away all things sharp…I see Agenda 21 if we listen to these fools.

Alex Jones allegations that guns are a necessity to protect people from tyrant governments are just a claim which has nothing to do with reality , in all arab spring states people were banned having guns but same people were able to start their revolutions and topple their dictators . i will agree with Jones if we are living in the 18 centurty but not in the 21 century where world has become a small village..

  Man’s barbaric nature has not changed since his creation and that is why good people need to arm themselves.   The only difference between us and the “Arab spring” is that our president supported the arab spring. He doesn’t support us. Also, the arab spring had the support of the US, the CIA, the UN, the Muslim Brotherhood, and al Qaeda. Also, they were armed to the teeth in Libya and Syria, courtesy of the US and the UN. Those are pretty good odds, if you ask me.

Did anyone see that Jones was harassed by the TSA and peace officers in the airport on his way to this show tonight? Maybe he was wound up for a reason. Maybe the word was out and they did everything they could to harass, detain and intimidate Jones prior to his arrival to this show tonight. To be honest the guy has guts but they will strip him of any glory. This was a suicide mission tonight. Thanks Alex and I’m truly sorry for you. He better be careful cause Breitbart never made it thru 2012 after sounding off at that CPAC.

Alex Jones, (like other conservative radio hosts, -Limbaugh, Levin, Hannity,and others), are foolish in defending American’s right to high-capacity round ammo clips.
Jones comes off as a complete clown in this interview.
It’s been proven that high-capacity round weapons are not neccesary for self-defense. They are offensive weapons only!.
If Republicans continue to defend high-capacity round gun rights, they will also be seen as clowns and lose the 2016 Presidential election.

  I share your fear of the government, but high-capacity rounds are not necessary in a defensive situation against the government. The person on the defense has the advantage and doesn’t need multiple rounds.

  Self-defense is not a black and white issue. There are many shades of grey and those shades of grey could mean the difference between life and death. There is no textbook answer to defending yourself and your family, as the variables can change in the blink of any eye.
  For example, my short barrel shotgun is great for self-defense and i love it, but if a “flash mob” was to happen, i would want the ability to shoot as many perps as i could in a short amount of time to protect my wife and my children. My short barrel shotgun is not going to do that.

The infowar is not a game – the leftist’s have escalated this issue to a very serious point. Glad to see A.J. express our righteous indignation . . .long over due. Piers was going to portrait A.J. as a crazy, dangerous gun owner in any case and sure enough, he and Dershowitz came in for the kill in the final segment. Then Dershowitz says we should put together a committee of “top scientists” to decide what kind of gun control there should be! That’s great, all the self-important leftist Harvard boys who validate and certify each other will make all the decisions for the rest of us mere mortals.
