‘In the Third Reich…No One Saw That Coming Until It Was Too Late’ — Who Issued This Warning About Gun Control in U.S.?

The former U.S. Marine who penned a blistering letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) in response to her strict gun control proposals is continuing to speak out in defense of the Second Amendment. Appearing on “Fox and Friends” Monday, Joshua Boston warned that history repeats itself, saying in the “Third Reich” no one “saw [gun control] coming until it was too late.”
Boston also referenced the former Soviet Union’s Joseph Stalin and how he implemented gun control in order to expand his power. “[I]t’s something we’ve seen happen time and time again in history,” he added.
Perhaps the most memorable portion of Boston’s letter to Feinstein read: “I am not your subject. I’m the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I’m the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I’m the flesh and blood of America. I’m the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American.”

In response to Boston’s letter, Sen. Feinstein’s office released a statement defending her proposed gun control bill. As included in TheBlaze’s previous report:
“She has heard from thousands of people — including many gun owners — who support her plan to stop the sale, transfer, importation and manufacturing of assault weapons and large capacity magazines, strips and drums that hold more than 10 rounds,” the statement said. “As Senator Feinstein has said, the legislation will be carefully focused to protect the rights of existing gun owners by exempting hundreds of weapons used for hunting and sporting purposes.”
Boston was not appeased with her response.
“This idea that the rights of existing gun owners is strictly limited to hunting and sporting purposes is absurd and has no basis in the Bill of Rights,” he said.

he could whip us some real scary looking mean old black AR pictures, and tell them tales of 100 round clips that you just spray little children with, but in reality, he knows nothing of rifles, ammunition, ballistics, nor could he really tell you what make a rifle an “assault rifle”, vs. a sporting rifle, vs. a hunting rifle.
He could work them into frenzy about gun violence, but leave out real statistics about how blacks make up 12.5% of the population, but commit half the nation’s murders. He would not dare tell them that lowering the black murder rate to the same as whites would lower the nation’s murder per capita rate by almost 40% and save a whole lot of lives.
Like democrats, he would talk about making people safe, but not dare tell them that the welfare population is intrinsically tied to our murder rates, or that more people were killed in the US last year with knives than with rifles, or that mass murder rates dropped since 2000.
Meteors would leave out real stuff, like how when England outlawed guns, the murder and violence rate went up.

Absolutely agree. There are many companies that dream up, manufacture, and sell all that cool bling. I don’t consider the single object a “right”, but if someone gets a kick out of a 20 round drum on their 12 ga., they should be able to buy it without hearing a bunch of crap or being made to feel guilty. This whole thing is kind of like cigarettes in Nebraska. The people just brow beat you if “they have to watch you buying a pack”, but the same people who shame you think it’s 100% acceptable – and actually funny – to see a drunken friend walk out of a Bar and puke on the hood of someone’s car. Most of the people who are screaming about gun control are simply making themselves “feel good” by standing up for something popular, and without getting glares from friends. And a probable majority of these control people actually have guns – and especially the “evil machine of death” – the AR-15 (with a stinkin little .223 bullet), purchased at Walmart, and came with a case and 2 – 30 round clips. You know Walmart…..the store that has the “Death and AR-15″ section located right next to the “Toys & Bikes” section. OOOOOHHHH….Now I gotcha right where it irritates most—-your pocket book. “Boycot Walmart!”…uhh…”NO…because that’s where I can get the cheapest groceries to feed my ‘precious little children’…”.

Posted on January 8, 2013 at 12:43amYeah, if those gun owners that supposedly wrote to Feinstein (I wouldn’t doubt that it’s greatly exaggerated though ;)) really want to not have those particular types of gun and related tech, then they don’t have to buy them. But that desire of theirs does not logically support an argument to take them from other good people who do want them, especially considering they can be used to protect people from killers, plus of course self-defense.
Will America as a whole wake up to this? I pray so.

Not necessarily. However, since the 2nd amendment’s intention is ONLY about defending ourselves against a tyrannical government and that tyrannical government could easily use a standing army to its advantage, I’d say we need whatever that standing army has, if not more.

Take action now at your local level by stepping forward and serving or supporting those like minded folks that hate politics but want America restored and are willing to sacrifice to get it done.
When the end comes…there will be an army that arises to fight back. By then it will be much too late to restore our country– our only alternative will be to overthrow and start over. Much blood will be shed.
We must starve the beast. Stand tall with your representatives who know we must immediately stop the spending. The fiscal cliff is a much better alternative than total collapse.

He believes in getting rid of guns completely, after having raised me and handed me my first shotgun to duck hunt when I was 12. I say all this as I am afraid there are many more like him out there, who will allow the government to get away with a gun grab, regardless of how many lives it costs, even in their own families. I am an Army veteran from the 80s myself, and will not give up my guns to an unconstitutional gun grab, regardless of what it costs me. This polarization of America, the hard core left, and right, with almost no one making sense on any subject in the middle anymore reminds me of stories I read from the Civil war when brothers fought brothers. Something bad is coming, and will snap soon, and it will break my heart to have to take up arms in America, but we can not let the constitution be destroyed, else we are no longer America.

The wolf, “canis lupis” is a predator animal. Wolves eat sheep. And as long as there are wolves in the world, the sheep must rely on the shepherd to protect it.
Now, put that on a smaller more individual scale. You have sheep (people like you) and then you have wolves (people who are criminals), then you have shepherds (people who are law abiding gun owners). Shepherds kill wolves when they try to kill the sheep.
You are welcome to be a sheep if you want. Some people (mostly from the left and east coasts) are used to being sheep/victims. But some of us refuse to be sheep. We choose to shepherds, ie, protectors, leaders rather than followers. We have guns to equal the strength of the wolf. We train with weapons to match the ferosity of the wolf. We have multiple ammo mags to match the teeth of the wolf.
Now that is how I explain the 2nd amendment to my kids and they get it. What exactly is your damage?

At the end of the day, when going up against an ideology (marxism); facts, statistics and historical truths don’t matter. Only the ideology matters!

I have issues with them also, but the liberals are the enemies within and Obama is the Trojan Horse. We can live peacefully with the libertarians and pretty much everyone else in the 80%.
