‘Al Gore Is Nothing but a Bulls***ter’: Current TV Staffers Reportedly Irate Over Network’s Sale to ‘Big Oil’

Even if you believe that climate change is a hoax, it’s hard to deny that things are heating up over at Current TV. In the wake of the network’s sale to Al Jazeera, The New York Post is reporting that some of Gore’s former staff members have less-than-favorable words for the company’s co-founder, who profited handsomely from Current’s sale (he will allegedly walk away with $100 million).

After the first, official staff gathering with their new parent company, at least one Current employee sounded off to media. While Gore was absent from the meeting, which was held in San Francisco and teleconferenced to offices in Los Angeles and New York, his partner, Joel Hyatt, was apparently there alongside the new Al Jazeera bosses, reports The New York Post’s Linda Stasi.

Current TV Staff Members Reportedly Angry With Al Gore Over Al Jazeera Buy Out

Former US vice president Al Gore delivers a speech before a screening of the film he helped make of his best-selling global warming book ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, 22 June 2007 in Cannes, southern France. Gore was recently nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for his work in drawing attention to climate change, while the film ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ earlier this year won an Oscar. Credit: AFP/Getty Images

Along with Hyatt, two executives from the parent company, Ehab Al Shihabi (executive director of international operations) and Muftah AlSuwaidan (general manager of Al Jazeera’s London bureau) led the discussion. Current staffers were apparently told that the new network’s mission will be to “inform, inspire and entertain” — a three-pronged approach that will include a mixture of news and entertainment. Al Jazeera is slated to take over Current in April.

According to Stasi, the meeting was calm, but sources who were there — and who spoke off-the-record — were less than pleased with Gore. One individual who is described in the Post report as a “high-placed Current staffer” said, “Of course Al didn’t show up. He has no credibility.” This particular individual seemed particularly angry over the former vice-president’s decision to accept an offer from a network that is owned by the government of Qatar — a nation known for its vast oil reserves.

“He’s supposed to be the face of clean energy and just sold [Current] to very big oil, the emir of Qatar!,” the source exclaimed. “Current never even took big oil advertising—and Al Gore, that bulls***ter sells to the emir?”

And this source wasn’t done there, as he or she had plenty more Gore-bashing to do. In fact, the person spoke for the entire Current TV staff in claiming that the former politician is seen now as a phony who doesn’t stick by his word.

“We all know now that Al Gore is nothing but a bulls***ter,” the source continued. ”Al was always lecturing us about green. He kept his word about green all right—as in cold, hard cash!”

Clearly, Current’s staff — or at least a portion of it — isn’t happy. And considering all of Gore’s past talk about green energy, their frustration over the sale to Al Jazeera is understandable.

Of course Gore is a BS’er. The problem is that America has been raised on a steady diet of BS for the past 50 years and has acquired a taste for it.

Something tells me things will be changing back soon enough, however.

When I was in school, (many moons ago) a 5th grade teacher asked us if we wanted to learn to pray like muslims. Of course we did, so she had us get down on our Knees, then bow down and as we rose up repeat after her, Down: “I know my heart” Up, hands raised, down again: “I know my mind” Up with hands waving, back down: “I know that I am sticking up behind.” She had a good laugh on us, nowadays she’d lose her teaching license. Our parents thought it hilarious.

Pg 201 of “Bias, A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News” provides a fascinating insight to how the media executives make their decisions with the following statement:

“Despite the liberalism of the media, there is a subtle form of racism at work here. As Fiamma Nirenstein writes, “The Arabs, it is implicity suggested, are a backward people, not to be held to the civilized standards of the West”.

What the writer is saying by the phrase “implicity suggested” is that behind the backs of Arabs, behind closed doors, there are vibrations that never reach public microphones endorsed by current executives, there is a concensus that the Arabs are to be treated perhaps just like the Native American Indians, a backwards people who will never grow up?

I’m not real hip to liberalism, and I don’t know how Glen Beck does it, a lot of his friends are in the media, he is the in the media, and these people hold grudges that will never die? You know what, I think Glenn Beck is not part of that media that thinks like that, and when you have Bernard Goldberg re-hashing that Americans have been sick of being lectured to since the 1960s, these are not my wishful thinking or projections, these are the well worn observations of professional people in the press who have observed and helped people for decades?

We can not endorse that viewpoint of racism any more than we can support violence when we know it is simply not necessary?

Presidents, vice-presidents, governors and state attorneys general are all ****-deep in Saudi cash through the fine Muslim Brotherhood front groups that have all been named as “unindicted co-conspirators” by federal judges; but, they never get prosecuted! In fact, Eric “Fast and Furious” Holder even halted the federal trial of the co-founder of CAIR.

Al Gore is just like all the other elitest, far left, liberal dopes. He has profited greatly from his “Global Warming Agenda” and has purchased a second mansion in California. Like the forst mansion in Tennessee, the California mansion uses more power off the grid than the average American family uses in one whole year. He, like all the liberals, believe that the agenda they are pushing, whatever it concerns, should only apply to the plebian masses, not to them.
