‘American Dream Labs’: Wait Until You Hear How Glenn Beck Plans to Transform the News Industry

Glenn Beck Unveils Greater Details About American Dream Labs

TheBlaze TV

As discussed last evening,  Glenn Beck plans to take this week to slowly unveil his newest venture, American Dream Labs. His Tuesday evening broadcast was no exception, and focused on new technologies TheBlaze aims to implement in the year ahead.

Beck also promised to make a series of announcements concerning his network over the course of the next 60 days, including a “global information center” headquartered in New York and the launch of international bureaus in three different cities around the world. The locations will be announced soon, and, according to Beck, the intentions behind each will be obvious once revealed.

At its core, Beck hopes to build a global news organization that values American exceptionalism, freedom and the Declaration of Independence, each of which he feels will help to bring a uniquely American point of view to international news coverage.

On the home-front, Beck also announced the launch of a new investigative news magazine titled “For The Record,” utilizing journalists to uncover the stories “no one else will touch.” He added that in the past, his documentary team is expanding to provide this in-depth coverage and that new programs will be added to daily Blaze broadcasts to keep viewers informed with fresh content throughout the day.

Beck also hopes to introduce, even if next year, the next “Nightline.” He believes that ABC recently ousted the long running evening news program because the network was not ”telling the right stories.” Thus, Beck sees a market waiting to be filled, this one in the form of a nightly half-hour broadcast on a range of topics not covered by mainstream media.

Of particular note, Beck was emphatic in telling his viewers that all of TheBlaze’s new initiatives will all be done “without the influence of special interests…kickbacks or government loans.”

“We’re in a bad economy and we expect those things to get worse,” he added.

He said that one of the main reasons he runs his company without loans or on lines of credit is because big banks are “above and beyond the law now.”

“Everything we do is possible because of the dollars you commit… You are way more than just an audience. You trust us with your money and we take that trust seriously,” Beck said.

While Beck has been told by industry and non-industry veterans that what he is trying to achieve with TheBlaze cannot be done, but he begs to differ.

When they say “there’s no way I can do what I’ve done, I tell them ‘yes there is!’”

“When you have good, smart, dedicated and creative people — people who believe in something and are willing to lose some sleep — there’s no limit to what you can do.”

If by “libertarianism” Beck is advocating for Ron Paul “libertariansim” then he can stick it where the sun doesn’t shine! Libertarianism is the MARXISM of the right!

I would be considered in political circles as a “far right” Conservative and I’m PROUD of it! And when all of the rest of these foolish liberal-esk worldviews fail, and they always do, true Conservatism will be there to clean up their messes.

“Again – Glenn – When are you going public – so we can invest ??”

I hope he does not. We all know what has happened over the course of the last few decades where liberals/progressives have infested just about everything, quietly, and now pretty much control all news. If Glenn goes public, there will be a board of directors… and over time will allow control to be changed. That could very well be a bad thing.

“what effect will this have”…indeed !!!

I enthusiastically support Glenn’s new programs and agree with him 98% of the time. I admire him tremendously. I believe he is singularly positioned to reach millions of Americans with a rebuild-America, pro-Constitution message, and could possibly be the most influential, most important voice of the next decade.

Having said that, I think he may not have the will to fight the good fight beyond his current approach. No tyranny through government has ever been reversed through negotiations or by turning the other cheek. I have my doubts that Glenn’s totally non-violent approach will succeed, and because of his spiritual beliefs, I do not believe he would ever go beyond that…even if the fate of our country was at stake. That’s where he and I part company. Pull up a chair and pop some popcorn. It will be interesting to watch. …rf

@stage9 That is easily one of the dumbest comment I’ve read. You don’t even know what marxism is nor libertarianism. Unbelievably stupid. One side(marxism) total government the other(libertarianism) very little government. By definition small government can not be a form of marxism. Do you know how uneducated you reviled yourself to be?

Happy to see it coming down the pike! Millions of viewers have lost faith in the liberal media and those that are political connected with it. It is such an injustice to the people! Thanks to all of those who care enough to make this launch a reality! Now if we could just launch our own non-biased Hollywood! I stopped supporting liberal movies because of their political agenda ties and injected influence on viewers and I also disagree with all their millions they donate to manipulate elections! Megalomania is a psychopathological disorder characterized by delusional fantasies of power, relevance, or omnipotence. ‘Megalomania is characterized by an inflated sense of self-esteem and overestimation by persons of their powers and beliefs’.[1] Historically it was used as an old name for narcissistic personality disorder prior to the latter’s first use by Heinz Kohut in 1968, and is used these days as a non-clinical equivalent.[2][3] It is not mentioned in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)[4] or the International Statistical Classification of Diseases………………………

Now I would have to say that you have just described and characterized the President of the United States of America, his administration of insane people and all the Democrat Party, to the tee…

Let me see if I understand Mr. Beck; first he teaches me all about the constitution and it religious roots Faith, Hope and Charity, proves how the writings are inspired by God shows us all the monumental records illustrating this spiritual connection. He proves / introduces us to the great work of David Barton and his great American research. Glenn fills Texas stadium with people of faith, hope and charity. He then throws 5000 plus years traditional marriage under the bus and shifts his newly gained power to atheistic Libertarian’s who don’t sleep while trying to remove faith from all aspects of governance. But…, they can’t see the unimaginable fiscal cost and the freedoms loss due to moral decline!

Powerful Libertarian’s who could not come close to winning one US primary! Libertarian’s who hate Israel, the protections military power that can offer its’ citizens some semblance of security. Libertarian’s who think fiscal security is the only thing that can save a nation while promoting every deviant lifestyle as freedom while at the same time destroying the family, marriage, religious freedom, and many associated freedoms. Kinda like ancient Rome!

One credit I can give Libertarian’s though; I rate them ahead of Democrat’s / Marxist’s and Communist’s; just barely though. Most times I don’t feel have a place to turn, maybe the non party Tea Party.

When Glenn tells us his ideas are head spinning well I guess SO. I’m lo

I follow kiwi’s strategy. Alex Jones is still a usefull outlet. Every now and then the tabloids get one right too. I have no idea where GB will end up in the halls of history but i don’t know how you can classify him as anything but a visionary. GB get’s things wrong as we all do. But this guy was right about bullion over a decade ago. GB alone is going to make ala carte cabling a reality. But he could also end up severely mis-understood like Nastradaumus. Detractors make Michelle out as some sort of clairvoyant when he was more a visionary. He traveled the world at a time when most people did not leave their village. He met people of different nationalities. He was educated when most people were not. He did not long for fame. He calculated risks and took some. He did not limit his knowledge to one specific area. His quatrains seem kooky today but they are really just a case study of man’s behavior which is why every generation can make a connection to them. It will be fun to see where Glenn end’s up but the ride may be more important.

Glenn Beck’s initiative must be supported. A Marxist was re-elected and not one major network covered Barack Obama’s past Marxist affiliations including Trinity United with is based on Black Theology … a Marxist ideology … affiliations that would have exposed his far left worldview while running for the highest office in the land under the Democratic banner.

Which of the 2 is more like to be a celebrated figure if they succeed?
Who is the selfless? Which one is altruistic and which one is narcissistic? Which one is more American and which one goes against everything America stands for?

Fishermen with a bucket of freshly caught crabs can ignore the bucket safely knowing that if any crab has success in attempting to climb out of the bucket the others will grab on and pull him back down. Fisherman with a bucket of octopus however will lose their entire catch if they don’t have a good lid on that bucket as the octopus will help each other to climb out and escape.

It was exactly as I expected, but the Van Jones comment was priceless. when… GLENN BECK, HIMSELF, IS THE REPUBLICAN VERSION OF VAN JONES! Notice Glenn (and other REPUBLICANS like Rush, Hannity, Levin) will ALWAYS criticize OTHERS… by characterizing them, as EXACTLY WHAT THEY, THEMSELVES, ARE! Almost every quote you listed, describes them perfectly, but not IN ANY WAY Alex Jones.

      @ Soy

I missed those characterisations of Alex Jones by GB.Do you have a link?

I’m not a fan of Mr Jones’ because he often makes and pushes assumptions based on fairly flimsy evidence.

That said; I always keep an eye on his site because every now and then he hits the target squarely.

If GB did make those characterisations then I think that he’s wrong on two counts:

Firstly, Mr Jones is clearly not insignificant.

Secondly, just because the man wanders into some strange areas on a fairly regular basis, it is foolish to write him off on that basis. He has been right, occassionally, and at other times (speaking personally) has raised questions worthy of further digging. An example of this is his relentless attacks on the “banksters” and the Federal Reserve. He clouds his own case with wild aspersions, but there is a real case to answer under all that stuff.

The world, I think, needs the odd Alex Jones…

      @nzkiwi
Alex Jones went after Beck about 3 years ago, attacking him for being off base, and a few other theories Beck put forth. Beck simply decided he wouldn’t respond or even acknowledge the accusations. Shortly after that, Alex Jones went on to defend Charlie Sheen after his melt down and firing from 2 1/2 men. Beck played the interview and mocked him, and the war was on. Now, Beck just simply dismisses anything Jones says, and for the most part, so do most of America. I agree, I check his site now and then, and sometimes he does say something that will make you think. Most of the time it’s like reading the tabloids in a shoping market checkout stand.

@Bella If the communist/islamist destroy America, killing millions of us Glenns lab will truely be nothing more than a dream. I thank him for waking me up to all the corruption and agenda’s but we are in a very cridical time in our history so his sole efforts should be to keep us informed so we may prepare.

      @ Soy and Darmok

Thanks for that. I guess I’m in a bit of trouble with GB.

A year or so ago, on this site, I went ballistic about censorship. To say that I was scathing is possibly understating the situation and I cast some unforgivable aspersions about the CEO of the Blaze. Then I tried to contact GB by email but there was no response. Finally I flounced off in a huff.

Some who have been here for a while may remember that.

If GB takes that sort of thing to heart then I guess that’s me on the outer. Still, I will support him anyway, because I think that he is mostly correct, and the best person to acheive that which he proposes.

My opinion of Mr Jones remains the same, and I think that Mr Beck’s characterisations were a bit too strong.
