MSNBC Host: GOP Refuses to Work With President Obama Because of ‘Negrophobia’

Georgetown University professor and MSNBC regular Michael Eric Dyson during a Tuesday broadcast of “Now With Alex Wagner” said that Republicans would continue to block and obstruct President Obama’s agenda because of racism.

It can’t be that they disagree with the president’s policies. It can’t be that they disagree with his political worldview. It can’t be that they are simply responding to the will of their constituents.

“Never underestimate the visceral intensity or the poetic allure of negrophobia,” Dyson told the panel. “They are completely committed to that. That’s what Obama is facing.”

Outside of Bloomberg’s Josh Greene’s somewhat surprised reaction, the “negrophobia” comment went unchallenged.

Exit Question: MSNBC strives to “reflect” its viewers’ world, network president Phil Griffin said last week in an interview with Mediaite’s Tommy Christopher.

Naturally, this would involve hiring and scheduling guests who, apparently, speak to the network’s audience.

But if people like prof. Dyson are brought in only to assert the supposed racism of the GOP, which is really all he does, then does this mean that MSNBC’s audience is equally obsessed with racial issues?

      Do we really know he is mullato? Sure, he looks like it, but we have no idea who donated the sperm that created this monster. His mother certainly had a reputation for getting around. For all we know, the sperm donor was 1/4 black which makes our Marxist friend even less “black” than anyone would suggest. Hell, he might even be 1/32 Cherokee?!!?

      I have learned so much about myself over these past 5 years that I feel I owe the

      The truth be known, the problem is Commie-phobia, and for me that’s not pejorative. There are a number of Americans who understand the evil and tyranny that acceptance of communism necessarily brings. Many American patriots made the ultimate sacrifice to prevent communism from overtaking regions of this planet.

      You can try to hide your Marxist agenda behind claims that those who object are “racist” (read Frank Marshall Davis and learn who he is.) There will always be a fraction of the population who are aware of what you’re doing.

      I vote Republican. My spouse is east Asian. They have epicanthic folds, low nose bridge, flaring nostrils & big lips like many people of African ancestry. Our dislike of obmaa has nothing to do with race & everything to do with values, principles & policies.       to claim that political opponents of Pres. Obama are his opponents only because they are ‘racist’ is a cop-out and intellectually lazy at best. All the GOP that I’ve listened to and read what they had to say about the President’s agenda, had absolutely nothing to do with race and everything to do with Constitutionality, Personal Freedoms, the Economy and Jobs. Simply because they present a different approach to handling the problems this country faces, isn’t a valid reason to Label them as being Racist. It smacks of the Nazi Gobbels method of labeling to destroy opponents.

      I’m a 68 year old white male who cheered Clarence Thomas’ appointment to the SCOTUS, was a Herman Cain supporter from early on, sent a contribution to Mia Love’s campaign and stated on these boards that I wanted Allen West for Sec. of Defense. But since I oppose Obama’s policies, I’m a “negrophobic” racist. Got It.

    Yeesh. When is humanity going to grow up? I say it’s racist that THEY focus on his skin color. Genetically it’s proven now that “racial” characteristics make up less than the differences between individuals. Why don’t they say that we disagree with him because he’s tall instead of short?     People are going to have to stand up to this kind of rethoric and fight back. Letters to editors would be a good start. The message that we’re tired racist being bandies about everywhere is a good start and to the Universities also. The more hell rasised the quicker this goes away.
