‘Wilkow!:’ Emily Miller Gives Details About Upcoming Meeting Between Biden and the NRA
While heading up the president’s task force on gun violence that was established after the Sandy Hook Elementary mass shooting, Vice President Joe Biden has made time to meet with the country’s largest organization representing gun owners–the NRA–before recommending to the president what is expected to be the most far-reaching legislation on gun control ever. Senior Editor for Opinion at the Washington Times Emily Miller joined ‘Wilkow!’ Tuesday to discuss what she has heard about this upcoming meeding, as well as the latest on the Washington Metropolitan Police Department’s inquiry into whether NBC’s David Gregory broke the law by possessing a 30-round “high-capacity” magazine during a live National TV recording.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 12:58pmAmerica doesn’t have a gun problem we have a moral problem. When you put a gun in the hands of an immoral person who has no regard for the laws or others these horrific things happen. Hollywood with their glorification of indiscriminate killing is more at fault than the millions of law abiding citizens who own guns. What hypocrites, they scream for gun control yet glorify characters who misuse and kill with guns.
As one of our founding fathers said, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion . . . Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” John Adams
Or the words of our first president, ” Religion and morality are the essential pillars of civil society.”
