Fox’s ‘The Five’ Retaliates Against Gawker’s NYC Gun Owner List by Airing Founder’s Phone Number
On Tuesday, the website Gawker sparked controversy when it published a 446-page list of all the licensed gun owners in New York City, initially labeling them “a**holes.” And on Wednesday, Fox News’ “The Five” turned the tables and aired the website founder’s phone number and email in retaliation.
Co-host Greg Gutfield began by saying the “left” wants the public to think that anyone who owns a gun is crazy, but that is simply not the case. He said no one wants guns in the hands of crazy people.
“Those stupid wimps,” he said of Gawker, explaining that the site linked the NYPD to rape and corruption but then ironically called the police when they received death threats.
“[Gawker called] people crazy a-holes who own guns legally in New York City. So what we thought we would do is maybe point out who runs Gawker, the founder of Gawker, Nick Denton. Greg, you may know him as well,” co-host Eric Bolling chimed in.
Then Denton’s name, picture, phone number and email address appeared on the screen. “There he is. Nick Denton. Here is is phone number,” Bolling said, advising viewers to email him if “you’re really ticked off.”
“You know what, Nick, I’m going to call you later on today,” he added.
Watch the video below via Fox News/Mediaite:

If you read both of the attached stories, it’s pretty clear that being a well-known weapons expert in the civilian sector is becoming very hazardous to your health. Am I reading too much into the deaths of two renowned weapons experts in just one week? Traffic accidents are one thing; but, a single bullet to the head is quite another. That death reminds me of the deaths of three openly gay members of Jeremiah Wright’s congregation between November and December 31, 2007. Oh, did I mention that the Chicago police have no leads?
As far as I’m concerned, it’s started.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 4:41amThe question is do I agree with the decision to air the Gawker’s founder’s phone number. More and more of late, I seen to approve of doing things that I philosophically disagree with, but that is only because the left is continuously doing disagreeable things and getting away with them at the expense of my losing my country because I stood on principals and didn’t fire back. So yes, I agree. I also would not condemn patriots overtaking or at the very least destroying the offices of the MSM. We have lost our country and the majority of people have been hoodwinked to the point that they don’t even realize it. The greatest patriots were the small number of troops who fought to the finish in George Washington’s army, and they didn’t win by the Queen’s rules. When the English military stood out in the open, our valiant few thousand shot from the bush. If there is the slightest possible chance for We The People to stay free, it’s long past time we turned the other cheek. It long past time for unorthodox retaliation.

This seems very fishy to me also. I have not read the details of both murders, but for the one, nothing was stolen. Guns everywhere in the guys office (and probably home as well) and nothing stolen. One bullet to the head, nothing missing.
Seems very weird to me, unless it was a hit.

“Posted: 12:20 AM, October 8, 2012
Gadfly Gawker Media head Nick Denton recently changed his Facebook status from single to “in a relationship,†but not everyone seems to be happy about it.
Sources say an angry ex of his new boyfriend tossed a brick through the window of Denton’s SoHo loft building recently, and has been causing enough further trouble that the police have been contacted.
We hear that Denton — whose Gawker blogs include Deadspin, Lifehacker, Jalopnik and Jezebel — recently began dating a hunky 29-year-old actor who’s currently starring in an off-off-Broadway play that’s arrived from London.”

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 7:21pmThis is the e-mail I sent Mr. Denton:
I am a Conceil & Carry holder who owns 5 hand guns, and a number of rifles and shotguns. All legally purchased with a background check conducted each time of purchase.
I shoot my weapons frequently to remain proficient and safe in their operation. I love to hunt, and I use my AR-15 to do so; as well as a bolt-action rifle. I also carry a handgun when I am out in the yard as we have a number of coyotes in my area, and while it is unlikely I would ever be attacked by one, it is not inconceivable that one could come into my area looking to make a meal out of one of my pets. There is also the possibility that a coyote or other animal could be rabid, and in those cases, rabid animals are unpredictable and even more dangerous.
I also travel quite a bit, so I carry a weapon in my car. When I am away from home I take comfort that my wife has a handgun within easy reach in the event of a home invasion while I am away. These are just a couple of reasons this “*******” owns weapons. But the primary reason I own weapons is because of my 2nd Amendment Right to bear arms. And the reason for the 2nd Amendment is not to protect my right to hunt, or even to defend myself from criminals; the reason for the 2nd Amendment is to protect myself from a tyrinical government.

And as such, I feel that I should be able to arm myself in the event that our government foresakes its Constitution and Bill of Rights to oppress its citizens. And the way things are going, I can see us going down that slippery slope to tyranny.
When I joined the Navy, I took an oath to defend this Country, Constitution, and Bill of Rights from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. I am no longer an Active Duty military man. I was Honorably discharged after serving for 5 years. But to me, that does not alleviate me from my oath. I will continue to defend this Country, Constitution, and its Bill of Rights.
I am truly saddened that you published those names & addresses of legal gun owners. You are putting them at risk of having their firearms stolen. You have also placed their unarmed neighbors in danger because you just identified where the soft targets can be found. Well, I guess you might as well add my information to your map, you should have enough information from this e-mail to figure out where I live.

With two parents working and the many single parents operating in work and being both parents, or even unemployed, the schools are having more influence than the homes and families. That is one reason promiscuity is being “normalized” so that these children will become fodder for those who are using the poor and disenfranchised to carry the left with their hypocritical messages on the already weakened backs of the poor. Posted on January 9, 2013 at 7:58pmOrdinarily I would agree with you, but they are using our principles against us and winning. They have made it a war and if we are to win, we have to fight!

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 9:15pmI agree with the Geneva convention for civility idea.
It is time we treat these people as the terrorists they are. Terrorists don’t get the benefit of the protections of the convention. We cannot continue to think we can win hearts and minds by being nice anymore. I would love to see someone like Freedomworks start an ad campaign as big as the election that focuses on the lies of these people. I would financially support that more than any candidate. Ads showing how the banks are being used by the government to pressure gun and gun merchandise manufacturers. At the same time go ballistic on the main stream media. Time to play hardball.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 9:28pmDon’t you remember watching William Buckley tear apart Chomsky in some of their debates? He was so eloquent and pointed in his conversations. It truly was a wonder to behold! I wish I was as well spoken. How about watching someone completely dress down an opponent and not have to resort to one cuss word? Those were the ‘wins’ that had the most impact on me because it showed me the kind of person I aspired to be.
We complain about the schools and how much the left has influence over our children. Yet we all have access to one of the most influential tools in history – the internet! Now I have a confession: I am a gamer. =O However, with that gaming I have had tremendous access to today’s youth through chat rooms associated with gaming. I can guarantee you that I have had more than a few opportunities to profess conservative values by relating them to current events that kids are talking about. Often times they espouse the leftist propaganda that comes from their teachers but I have the opportunity to show them a view not often visited in their classrooms. And I gathered quite a fan base by not in-your-face tactics but just sound reasoning and letting my opponents destroy themselves with frustration that transformed into blind fury. My parents always told me that the first one that resorts to profanity is most often the loser in any debate.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 10:33pmLet me put it this way: If someone opens fire at you (and you survive), do you pull out your gun and return fire?
Self-defense is a lawful right. If your motive is to harm or inflict pain on someone who wronged you, that is revenge. However, if your motive is to safeguard what is rightfully yours, then you are acting in self-defense. So don’t cower in a corner and hope the perp won’t aim a second shot at you, because he will. Your wife and kids are next.
Here’s why so many patriots have allowed the enemy to gain ground. They think fighting back is about revenge, when this is really about survival. Heck, some God-fearing Americans still don’t realize we are at war FOR THE SOUL OF THIS NATION. Again, let me spell it out for you: “Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack.” (1 Pet. 5:8)
Satan is wily. He will play with your emotions and either ACCUSE you of wrongdoing or twist Scripture to render you useless. Obama is a worker of iniquity, and these commies are now going in for the kill. They hate America, they hate freedom, and most of all, they hate God.
Unless We the People get over all the “we can’t become like them” baloney, our kids and grandkids WILL become like them. So much for taking the “moral high ground.”

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 11:18pmThe high ground doesn’t work when your opponent doesn’t fight fair. In this battle, we are still fighting in firing lines while they’ve graduated to guerrilla tactics. We need to graduate also. It’s not stooping, it’s adapting.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 12:36amYes .. being “nice” is done .. fight fire with fire .. I have to say that these two on the five are my FAVORITES! Only reason I ever watch .. if they aren’t on I don’t watch. Most of the time I save Glenn’s shows for the weekend when I can watch them on my ROKU .. since nothing of value anywhere else is on during the weekends.

I agree with you 95% of the time…he labeled thousands of decent people as A holes he has never met. Turn about works on occasion to remind of the two way street. Eh, is what it is. He surely has changed that number by now.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 9:10pmThe proper turn-about here would be to publish the address of Gawker site producers and a short list of at least $2000 worth of movable personal property they own and keep in their home or on their person. Because that is exactly what Nick@gawker.com, whose phone number is 646-470-4295, did to legal gun owners when he published that information on his website.

Posted on January 9, 2013 at 10:50pmWas talking to some ol’ boys last week at the hunting camp, union boys, and beagn to cite a few political issues going on within and they were looking at me like I was just making this stuff up.
Nice guys, not too hard core union, but clueless. They’re all good hardworking family guys. Sorry to say if we all had to muster and go fight, I wouldn’t trust em to have what it takes. No military experience at all. Not saying that about everyone, but when the shtf I prefer grunts backing me up.
