Here’s Video of the Infamous Drunk Airline Passenger Who Had to Be Bound Using Duct Tape

Last week, TheBlaze brought you the crazy photo of a drunk passenger on a flight from Iceland to New York City who was so unruly that he had to be bound and gagged using duct tape.

Now video of the man, who was identified as 46-year-old Gudmundur Karl Arthorsson, has emerged. Watch the footage:

Taken by a fellow passenger, you can hear Arthorsson being taped up and then trying to yell and later crying through the tape. The person filming with a cellphone wonders if he has turrets and also said that he expects the man will be put in jail for a long time for his actions.

Arthorsson was restrained in the first place after he allegedly drank “an entire bottle of some duty free alcohol” and proceeded to spit on other passengers, attacked a woman and began yelling that the plane would crash.

Arthorsson was arrested when he landed and treated for alcohol poisoning but was not prosecuted.

This is a very sad example of a human in a very degraded state. Am sure having a raving drunk lose on an airplane is frightening and would demand strong action . Hope the guy corrects his problem.

  I caught that on Fox earlier. Here we go again, since Clinton tried some of this after he lost the Congress in ’94. Hope the NRA and other groups take it to court as they did with Clinton. Remember that Executive Order that made thousands of legal gun owners instant criminals when he signed the order that nobody was allowed to be in possession of a firearm within a thousand feet of any school?

  RJJ: Agree. That there must be restraints on executive privilege otherwise the intended balance of governmental branches’ power would be destroyed. Hopefully, there are enough ideologically neutral members of the judicial branch to assure that the Executive Branch does not become a dictatorial branch. The way the Chicago radical Democrats have taken over their party and the the media , one worries about them also taking over the judiciary .

  What are you afraid of? If you’re not mentally damaged or sporting a massive arsenal, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Not everyone is deserving of guns and combat magazines.
